In which Detective Oh Sehun and Detective Kim Jongin are assigned to protect the youngest son of a Chinese Mafia leader, Luhan.

INTRODUCTION

Oh Sehun and Kim Jongin are young in age, both 25, but are two of the best detectives in Seoul.  Sehun is the more cool and laid back of the two while Jongin is reasonable to a point until he doesn’t get the results he wants.  They have known each other since middle school and went through cop training together.  They are partners and work together for the Seoul Police Department.

CHARACTERS​

Sehun joined the police force because his father was a cop and he looked up to his father.  Sehun was 14 years old when his father was shot and killed in a shoot out.  He vowed to follow in his father’s footsteps to better the world and spare as many people as he could from what he had to go through.  He is not particularly close to anyone but his mother and Jongin.

​Jongin’s reason for becoming a cop is less sentimental.  He simply wanted to follow Sehun because he had untold feelings for the other.  Jongin wanted to protect Sehun and in their line of employment, they needed someone to watch their backs.  He wanted Sehun to be around for a long time and hopefully by his side.  Jongin is a bit possessive when it comes to Sehun.

Luhan(18) is the youngest son of a Chinese Mafia leader.  Throughout his whole life, he has been home schooled because of his over protective but loving father.  He’s somewhat nerdy and shy.  His father has tried to teach him martial arts but because of his fragile appearance his father has refused to continue with training (after he sprained his ankle once).  Luhan has tried to tell his father that he is stronger than what everybody thinks but his delicate looks tell them otherwise.

Kris(29) is Sehun and Jongin’s Commanding Officer.  He is strict about following the rules but has a big secret of his own that only Sehun and Jongin know, excluding himself.  He is secretly in a relationship with a young man named Tao, who is the son of a drug dealer in hiding.

PROLOGUE ~

Although Sehun and Jongin were two of the best detectives in Seoul, they’ve been given small and boring assignments for the past 6 months for disrupting an investigation that could have landed them the head of a crime boss.  Their Commissioner was so angry that he sentenced them to this punishment that was to last for at least a year.  So when the two caught word of an important assignment given to their head quarters, they would, if needed, beg on their hands and knees to get it.  They were damn tired of watching over school kids of minor important and paranoid rich people and they knew that if they wanted to get this assignment, no matter what it was, they’d need a little help from someone the Commissioner trusted.  Kris.
