“Please stop worrying about not having a date to the prom. You still have a week, maybe that boy is still waiting for the right moment to ask you or maybe that boy is really preparing for his proposal? You never know. Besides, you have me and our friends. We can go together,” Kim Yoonji, your best friend, keeps persuading you.

“Easy for you to say! You have Eli (Yoonji's boyfriend) with you that’s why you’re not worrying. I’m the only one left who has no date in the whole universe. Ahhh! Eotteoke?!”

“Don't be so exaggerated. It’s going to be alright. Araso? Come on, let’s hurry up. We don’t want to be late in Science,” you and Yoonji ran to your classroom and made it before the bell rang.

When you were all settled down, your teacher made an announcement that seemed to get all of the students attention especially yours. “Today, Mr. Shin Dongho will be joining our class because of the changes in his schedule.” Dongho entered the room and all the girls were captivated by him.”Mr. Shin Dongho, you will be partnered with Ms. ______ in all our class activities/experiments.” You stood up and both of you bowed to each other. Then he sat on the chair beside. You felt that the atmosphere around became hotter and you can’t seem to breathe properly.

"Eotteoke?! Eotteoke?!" you thought to yourself like a chant. You can't focus on the lesson especially every time your hands are brushed with his. You feel electrocuted.

By the end of the class, your teacher gave you an assignment that you will work on with your partner. You can't help but notice that he is not listening and focusing so he immediately went out by the time the bell rang and didn’t approach about the partner-assignment. You tried to follow him but he was so fast. When he stopped, you ran towards him but you saw him talking to the girl whom everyone thought was his girlfriend so you just stopped and breath before jealousy takes over. When you calmed yourself, you just walked in the other direction.

"They look so good together. They're perfect for each other," you sighed. "Maybe, i'll just do the homework myself and just approach him next morning before class starts."

While you were walking towards your locker to get the things needed for the last subject, you saw Dongho walking alone. You're guessing that he's going to his locker too to get his things but you notice how different his eyes looks. It's full of sadness. You're thinking of reasons why he looks like that then the bell rang. So you just shrugged the idea off and ran to your room because you don't want to be late again in your last subject. During the whole subject, you seem to forget about him because you got too preoccupied by the lesson.

When you were walking home, you saw Dongho again sitting under your favorite tree. He's in the same situation again like the last time you saw him. He looks like he's thinking of something very deep. He looked up and your eyes met. You felt chills ran down your body so you quickly looked away and ran to your house.

"Pabo! Why did I do that? I hope he didn't notice something," you thought. He got confused by the way you reacted but he didn't respond any reaction.

When you got home, you erased everything that happened for the mean time because you need to focus on doing all your assignments. You immediately did all your assignments because you were afraid that you would finish it late. And as you've calculated it, you've finished everything by one in the morning since its' really too many especially the Science research assiagnment that your partner didn't even know.
