CHAPTER SIX; SEARCHING FOR HELP

Tao couldn't see any other ways out of this . He knew he needs help for English, he wouldn't be able to get through it alone. So he decided to ask his teacher on the next day for help. Of course he didn't wanted that his teacher gave him extra lessons, but he thought maybe his teacher would know a student who could help him with English. He really hoped his teacher would help him, because without some help he would never be able to make his dream come true.

So he searched his teacher before school starts together with his two best friends, even though they don't know why Tao searches the English teacher yet. Tao didn't really wanted to tell them he wants to get help from another student, he knew they would tell him they can teach him. They weren't really better than the panda-eyed boy in English and he knew if Luhan or Xiumin would help him it would end like always – they having fun instead of studying. So he thought it would be better to not tell them about it.

The three friends walked to the teacher lounge quietly, so Luhan thought he should tell his friends about the meeting with Kai later. “Tao, Xiumin, can you two do me a favour~?”, Luhan asked them, using his cute voice which always helped when he wants them to help him or to do what he wants. His two friends turned their head to look at the blonde-haired boy, both not saying anything and waiting for Luhan to continue. “Let's hang out with an old friend of me in lunch~”, Luhan told them with a huge grin on his face. “Let me guess, your old friend is this Kai guy? You finally found out why you think you know him?”, Xiumin asked the cute Chinese boy and grinned lightly. “Yes! He and Sehun came to the Café I work at yesterday when I had a break and we talked a bit. We were in the same dancing group~”, Luhan explained, still smiling like an idiot, “So, can we hang out with them?” Xiumin just nodded and Tao thought about it for a short time, but he quickly nodded too as he saw his English teacher before he ran over to the long searched teacher.

“Mr. Zhang, please wait a second, I have a question about English!”, Tao kinda yelled as he run to his teacher, making the older man turn around to look at him. “Ah...Huang Zitao, right? What can I do for you?”, he asked the Chinese boy friendly. Tao took a short break to catch his breath before he started to explain. “Well, I have a huge dream. I want to go to America and study there, but the schools there said my English isn't good enough yet. And I know we only had one lesson yet and you don't know how my English is like yet, but I really want to get an awesome mark so I can study in America. That's why I'm here, I wanted to ask if you maybe know another student who is really good with English who could help me..” Tao hoped he didn't sound too stupid, since he really only had one lesson and already asked for help. He couldn't help but had to bite on his lower lip as he looked at the teacher, who seemed surprised. “Well, it's not normal that a student ask for help.. But sure, I'll see what I can do. I know a student who would be perfect, I'll ask him later if he wants to help and tell you then, okay?” Mr. Zhang said with a smile on his face.

Tao nodded quickly and couldn't help but grinned widely, shaking the teachers hand lightly. “Thank you Mr. Zhang!” The young teacher laughed lightly and smiled at his student. “It's okay. I have to go now, see you later Huang Zitao~” and with those words the teacher turned around and continued his walk to the teachers lounge, letting the now happy Tao behind. After a few seconds Xiumin and Luhan came to Tao again, but before they could ask what he actually wanted from the English teacher the school bell rang and they had to go to class.

After a few lessons they finally had lunch time, which means they would officially meet Luhan's old friend Kai now. Luhan was so excited that he dragged his two friends with him, not caring about the protests of his best friends. He searched the table where Kai and Sehun sit at and after finding it he quickly ran over to the table and hugged his other childhood friend from behind with a huge grin on his face.

“Hyung~ It's nice to see you too”, Kai laughed as he got hugged from the blonde Chinese boy. Sehun just sat next to Kai and quietly watched the two boys, kind of jealousy was to see in his eyes. He didn't wanted to admin it, but he kinda liked Luhan. The Chinese boy seemed so different than all his friends for him and he really wanted to get to know Luhan better, which he of course would never admin. So he just sat there and said nothing, though he knew that Kai already guessed what Sehun thought about Luhan. After all Kai was his best friend, the older boy always knew what Sehun thought or felt- kind of scary for the young boy sometimes.

Tao and Xiumin just stood there, next to Luhan, and felt a bit weird because they didn't really know what to do. Xiumin looked to his panda-eyed friend and shrugged lightly before he sat down next to Sehun, dragging the confused Tao with him. “Hello~ I know we already met, but since our first meeting wasn't really a good one.. I'm Xiumin, it's nice to meet you. You're Sehun, right? The boy who helped Tao.?” Xiumin greeted the young Korean boy and smiled at him. Sehun just nodded a bit shyly, not really knowing what to say. It was funny, when Sehun was with his friends he always was brave enough to tell everyone what he thinks, but when he is alone he always got shy.

“Yes, I'm Sehun. And I didn't really helped your friend...” he then said, a small smile was on his lips. “You didn't help? Sehun-ah, when you wouldn't had stop your mean friend Tao maybe wouldn't be able to walk any more or something, you did help him!” Luhan said as he sat down between Kai and Sehun, smiling at the youngest who just nodded then. “Speaking of him... Where is Kris? And where is our Chennie?” Kai wondered as he realised that his other friends still weren't here. “Oh, Kris said a teacher wanted to talk to him and Chen waits for Kris, they will come later~” Sehun explained his friend who nodded.

“Anyways, I'm Kim Jongin, but please call me Kai. It's nice to meet you two, Xiumin and Tao.” Kai introduced himself to the two new boys and kinda bowed. Everyone introduced themselves again afterwards, just so that they could act like they never met before, which Tao actually thought was great. Sehun and Kai weren't mean like Kris, they were actually really nice. The panda like boy now understood why Luhan was friend with Kai and why he wanted Tao and Xiumin to hang out with Kai and Sehun, maybe they all could be good friends. If there just wouldn't be this mean and annoying boy called Kris...

Talking about Kris, he and Chen finally arrived the cafeteria with their food on their plates, walking over to their friends Kai and Sehun - and so also to Luhan, Tao and Xiumin. No one of them actually saw them coming, they were busy with talking to each other and laughing. So Kris faked a cough as he sat down next to Kai, and Chen took the seat next to Kris. The others now looked up, while Kai and Sehun smiled and greeted their friends, Xiumin and Luhan just stared angrily at Kris while Tao quickly looked down to his food again.

Why does he has to come now? It was so funny without him and Chen... Okay, I don't know how Chen is, but with Kris it can't be funny any more... and why is he smirking at me? Do I have something on my face or something? Calm down Tao, don't even look at him, just ignore this mean boy and continue talking with the others... Tao thought as he looked up again – only to see Kris watching him with a smirk on his face. He kinda really wanted to know why Kris smirked, but he didn't wanted to ask and of course Kris wouldn't tell him anyways.

So Tao just listened to the others while eating his food quietly. He was a bit nervous though, Kris never stopped staring at Tao the whole time long. Even when he talked to Kai or ate, he always looked at the panda-eyed boy without a reason. Or well, at least Tao didn't know the reason. And he didn't really know if he even wanted to know the reason why Kris seemed to be so amused with watching him...

Later, after Tao had his second English lesson with his friends, the young English teacher called Tao to him. Tao knew it was because of the help he asked for earlier, so he quickly packed his stuff and walked to the teacher, who smiled at him. “I've asked the student I thought about and he said he would do it. Here is a note, keep it good Zitao. The room you two will have your first lesson is written on it and also when it will be. Good luck.” The teacher gave him a small piece of paper and left quickly then, hurrying to his next lesson.

Tao was a bit confused though, why didn't the teacher just told him who the student is so they could talk about the first meeting by themselves. Shrugging lightly he opened the note and read what was written on it. Widening his eyes he almost let the note fall on the ground, why of all students did Mr. Zhang has to choose this one? No no no no no, please not with him, I wouldn't be able to get through that! Tao thought as he stared on the note, reading it again and again.

“First meeting: tomorrow after school.
Room: 315
Student who will help you: Wu Yifan.

I think you already know who that is, right? Since you two had to work together kekeke. Good luck Zitao, tell me when Yifan won't be able to help you~
