A few months back, just before my high school graduation, Xiao Lu told me that his roommate would be taking a part-time job during the incoming school year as an instructor for the Taekwondo-PE class in college. Prior to that news, I had no interest whatsoever in martial arts. Oh Sehun only knew how to eat, sleep and dance--plus aegyo to make his Hyungs do the dirtywork for him. However, the fact that Noona would begin teaching the sport she loved the most captured my attention, and the best part was the fact that I had a chance of becoming her student because I would be enrolling in their university. 

Unfortunately, my enlistment experience last semester wasn’t the best. And to think that Freshmen had priority. Yeah, right, my . Although I had put Noona’s Taekwondo class as my first choice in PE, I was given only my second, which was Hip Hop dance. Not bad, but not exactly what I wanted. I mean, I loved dance and all, but being a varsity scholar, I would be dancing day-in and day-out—I kind of needed a break.

And besides, Noona was the teacher. I think that was more than enough reason.

But I got lucky this time around, although I couldn’t exactly start rejoicing. There were two available classes this semester, but both instructors had their names concealed. And to my (lack of) luck, those classes were on the same time slot. Meaning, one of them had to have Noona as the teacher, and one of them...didn't. So I just took a(n) (un)lucky guess, hoping that it would be, in fact, Noona's class. 

And today, the first day of PE class, as I stared at my schedule and then at the clock that read “8:30” I already knew that Noona wasn’t the instructor I was looking forward to meeting.

If there was one thing that Noona hated besides touching and skin and bubble tea, it was being late.

In other news, are you guys excited for EXO's comeback? Unfortunately, I can't really say I'm super excited like everyone else is. Truthfully, I'm disappointed with how Wolf was edited. It seems so cacophonic and doesn't really showcase the vocal prowess of our lovely EXO. And, just between you and me, I prefer the leaked version :)) Anyway, I got to hear Black Pearl and Let Out the Beast just before SM asked the netizens to bring down the leaked songs. I must say that I never expected Black Pearl to sound like that, but I liked it nonetheless. As for Let Out the Beast...

HOLY CRAP I LOVED IT

Okay, honestly, this is the one song I've been waiting for since their teaser days. While everyone was crying over Baby Don't Cry and My Lady, I was simply overjoyed to hear Let Out the Beast. It was so catchy, and I absolutely love songs where the rappers get to shine!
