Your support and your love has been a blessing to receive for these past 63 chapters. It’s been quite the ride, hasn’t it? But, as you all know, it’s not over just yet! The finale of the Springfield Trilogy, Aftermath, has been posted! Before we rejoice, however, there are some things I’d like to share with you regarding Aftermath.
Firstly, it will be written entirely in third person. The second perspective is one I’ve been tired of since halfway through Springfield. For tradition’s sake, I kept up with it. Since I’ll be taking quite a different approach with Aftermath than I had with Illusory, I thought why not stop the train before I derail myself. In other words, before I go crazy over “you.”
Secondly, Aftermath does not have a romance tag. While there will still be romance present, it is no longer a driving force behind the plot. For example, in Illusory, “love” played a heavy hand in the decisions people made and the actions they took. In Aftermath, we will be focusing more on our other tags: action, drama, and supernatural.
Thirdly, if either of the first two changes displease you in any way, I welcome you to stop reading now. Just stop where Illusory ends and simply imagine what could possibly happen next with more romance or what have you. If you’re interested, on the other hand, in seeing what direction I take Aftermath, I hope to see you soon.
