“You want Ramen?”

“Uh yeah… Ramen sure” Sehun said uncertainly

“Oh okay! Which do you want?”

The pair were sitting in a booth in the one of many noodle houses in Seoul, both awkwardly staring at their menus

“I don’t know?”

“Have you been here before?”

“Erm not really” Sehun smiled sheepishly “I rarely eat out”

“Oh… Well then your parents must be really good at cooking!”

“Yeah”

An awkward silence drifted over the two, Luhan glanced back at his menu not daring to look up that is until the waiter came to take their order. Sehun got beef and Luhan got chicken, Luhan also got a grape soda.

“So are you ready to admit you want to be my friend?”

“Are you kidding me?” Sehun asked glaring at Luhan “Believe me, being my friend is not in your best interest”

“Well… You don’t seem bad” Luhan mused taking a sip of his drink, Sehun decided to change the subject

“Is that any good?”

 “It’s okay, do you want to try some?”

“Oh no, I was just wondering”

Luhan shrugged

“Your eyes are black today”

“Mine? Really, I didn’t notice”

“I don’t understand, how can the light change the colour of your eyes”

“Me either”

“Well it looks cool anyway!”

“Err thanks” Sehun shifted uncomfortably in his seat

The food came and Luhan dug into his food, he was so hungry; after a while he looked at Sehun who was just picking at his food.

“What’s wrong?” Luhan asked pointing to the uneaten food in front of Sehun

“Oh I dunno, just not hungry I guess”

“You were hungry before…” Luhan looked concerned “Maybe you’re getting sick”

“I don’t know” Sehun sighed grabbing his chopsticks and taking a bite “Happy now?”

“Not until you eat it all”

Sehun widened his eyes and looked nervously down into the bowl “How about no…”

“Please? It’ll make me feel better”

“Fine, I’ll eat the damn noodles”

“Where have you been mister?” Donghae pounced as soon as Luhan walked through the door

“Oh you know… Out seeing friends”

“You have no friends”

“Don’t be mean! I was out with Sehun”

“As in Oh Sehun… Wow he’s the coldest person I know”

“I said don’t be mean! Sehun is fine”

“But he’s impossible to befriend!”

“Well… I mean it is pretty hard and apparently we aren’t friends but we still hang out”

“That’s weird”

“Tell me about it”

“Anything happen at the hospital?”

“Nothing much… Suho’s husband came in today”

“Suho…?”

“Ah Dr Kim sorry he’s just so friendly we all just call him Suho”

“But his son is…”

“Yeah Sehun’s just special”

“Have you eaten yet?” Luhan decided to change the subject walking towards the kitchen

“Uh nope you?”

“Yeah, I have but I’ll make you something anyway” Luhan smiled softly grabbing a packet of noodles from the pantry

“You are the nicest person EVVEEER!” Donghae squealed excitedly hugging his cousin from behind

“Where’s Yesung? Does he want some food too?”

“Uh he’s on a date… A double date” Donghae waggled his eyebrows “Kyuhyunnie and I were going to make it triple but he’s working tonight- the insensitive ”

“It’s not his fault he’s working” Luhan defended him

“Luhannie when are you going to learn! You’re supposed to me on my side!”

“Hyung you make it impossible for me to be on your side”

“How so?”

“Because you’re being irrational”

Donghae was about to retort when there was a knock at the door he rolled his eyes “That better not be that bastard, who now says he got of work and-“Luhan curiously watched his cousins face go bright red when he answered the door

Either it’s Kyuhyun and he looks really hot- OR it’s not Kyuhyun and he’s really embarrassed

“Um hi… Sehun?”

Luhan heard Donghae’s voice from the foyer and inwardly facepalmed- that guy was incredible, why does he always show up when all he does is tell him to stay away.

Sehun, you’re the one who always comes to me you idiot, stop being a hypocrite

“Is Luhan there?” Luhan heard his angelic voice, wait angelic? No this was the sarcastic, cold boy that ran away from him on the first day of school- certainly not angelic at all!

“Yeah sure… LUHAN! YOU’RE FRIENDS HERE!”

Not my friend, Luhan rolled his eyes and walked to the foyer he looked at Donghae “Food’s on the table okay?”

“Yep, sure, food, awesome, great, oh yum” Donghae sped into the kitchen

“So? Why’re you here?” Luhan looked expectantly at Sehun who was just staring at him through unemotional eyes, to be honest they kind of crept Luhan out just a tad.

That didn’t change the fact he was so god dammed beautiful

Not beautiful

“I surrender” Sehun smirked lifting his arms up

“What?” Luhan asked confused

“In the simplest way… I’ve given up “

“Umm… On what?”

 The smirk disappeared from Sehun’s face into a scowl “Can you really not remember”

“Nope”

“I will be your friend Luhan- whether it is good for you… Well, we’ll just have to wait and see”

“I knew that” Luhan started laughing “I just wanted to hear you say it”

“You are a brat you know?”

“The worst kind” Luhan stuck his tongue out

Sehun rolled his eyes “Wanna go for a walk?”

“Now? It’s like… dark”

“You’re right- way too dangerous for my little deer”

“Yah! Not too dangerous! I’m more worried about you!”

Sehun laughed at that “Oh Luhan- you don’t know anything do you? So sheltered”

“I grew up on a farm okay!”

“That explains the smell…” Sehun murmured to himself but Luhan overheard him

“What are you trying to say?”

“Nothing, I was just talking to myself- nothing to do with you”

“So… You’re eyes change colour, you’re body temperature is like zero, and you talk to yourself, are you sure you’re normal?”

 “What are you trying to say? That I’m what? A monster?” Sehun said smiling wryly

“I don’t know, I don't think so"

“Be very careful” Sehun warned before turning around and walking towards his car briskly

Guess we weren’t taking a walk then…
