“Sehunnie I’m hungry” Luhan whines as they stroll along the streets of Seoul as the suns setting

“Of course you are” Sehun sighed “W-wait, you can’t call me Sehunnie”

“Why not?” Luhan challenged raising his eyebrow

“Because” Sehun scoffed leading Luhan into a tiny bakery “What kind of nickname is Sehunnie?”

“A good one”

“Wrong answer”

“You’re such a joy kill”

“Whatever- I’m buying you food, that’s not a joy kill”

“Aren’t you hungry?”

“… I guess I could eat something” Sehun gave in looking a little uncomfortable

“See I don’t know why you don’t eat that much, you’re so skinny it’s not funny just look at you, you’re going to waste into nothing and I’ll be stuck with my friend as a bag of bones”

“How kind of you” Sehun muttered dryly looking at the vast amount of sickly sweet cakes and pastries deciding which would be the most tolerable- he decided on the cinnamon bun

Luhan however went for something even more sickly sweet than Sehun thought possible, a custard square bright yellow and all.

Apparently it tasted good.

“So Luhan asked between mouthfuls of food- what’re we doing tonight?”

“I thought we could go camping?”

“Camping are you kidding me? We’re in Seoul hello? I don’t see anything green or leafy or nature related here, it’s a city”

 “Calm down you rabid monkey” Sehun rolled his eyes “We’re going camping on the terrace”

“You live of the terrace?” Luhan chose to ignore the monkey comment

“My family owns the building”

“Of course they do”

“You say it like it’s a bad thing” Sehun teased lightly picking at the squiggle of icing atop his bun.

“No of course it’s not it’s amazing, I just I don’t know how do you seem to have everything?”

“Suho’s father was a very wealthy man”

“Who was Suho’s father?”

“I don’t know- he died before I met him”

“Oh”

“It’s okay- it was ages ago, Suho didn’t get on with him very well anyway”

“I see, Luhan murmured- I don’t get along well with my father either”

“Why’s that?”

“Um…”

“You don’t have to tell me it’s your business” Sehun said, although he looked like he was concentrating hard on something,

“Oh no it’s okay; let’s just say I’m like your siblings”

“You mean gay?”

“Yeah”

“Oh, that’s horrible- your dad I mean not that you’re gay, like I’ve never had a problem with it because you know like my parents and my siblings and possibly me” Sehun rambled but what he didn’t tell Luhan was that he has spent centuries trying to find a partner and has never understood why he couldn’t- he also didn’t tell Luhan that he has also spent centuries trying to figure out his uality

Too awkward

“Oh thanks haha- yeah my cousin is gay too, so I mean we bond” Luhan chuckled remembering Donghae and his massive Nemo plushie.

“Donghae- Lee Donghae is gay?” Sehun asked incredulously

“Seriously? He’s gayer than a three dollar bill- He’s… Involved with a violinist slash med student Cho Kyuhyun”

“A dance major and a med student”

“Weird combo yeah I know but they fit- you know? It’s like they’re meant for each other or some cheesy crap”

 “Whatever” Sehun laughed “Let’s go, we can rent some movies out on the way home”

“I call we get a walk to remember out”

“Eww cheesy romcoms”

“Shut up- I’ll make you watch the notebook too, and the vow- and by the by a walk to remember is not a comedy- neither is the notebook, OR the vow!”

“So what? It’s just a cheesy rom then?”

“Oh shut up we’re watching them”

“Are you crying yet?” Luhan asked smugly looking at Sehun’s face carefully

“No”

“You so are”

They were flopped out on the top of the apartment building laptop in front of them, the terrace which was once sparsely tidy and neat was now a bombsite of pillows, blankets, not that Sehun needed blankets or pillows

“Idiot”

“Meanie”

“This is so cliché and I mean, Landon is so, so- he’s just an idiot”

“But it’s so cute and magical”

“She’s a hard out Christian- it’s weird”

“Come on! She loves her dad!”

“Just shut up and watch it- you’re the one that loves the damn movie so much” Sehun rolled his eyes when Luhan threw popcorn at his face

“I always feel like a pig around you”

“Why’s that?” Sehun sat up a little straighter carefully putting a little food in his mouth

“You never eat- well you do but it’s in miniscule amounts”

“I’m just never hungry”

“Well I wish I was you- with your magical metabolism and hunger less-ness and your ability to speak almost any language I can name”

Sehun scoffed “Whatever, watch the movie”

Luhan glared at Sehun intently before moving his head back to the screen

“I had to read this book for English” He said after a while of silence

“mmm” Sehun answered

“It was called the pact”

“mmmm”

“It ”

“mmm- wait what? Why?”

“Because it just - seriously it was just ugh and it was so frustrating and the characters were so selfish and ugh can’t deal with it”

“Okay- well take your mind off it and watch the movie”

“I can’t! She’s about to die!”

“Well thanks for spoiling the ending for me”

“Opps” Luhan said not sorry at all “C’mon let’s put this one on I can’t watch the end”

“What’s the point in getting it if you’re not going to watch the ending?”

“Because I can’t stand sad endings”

“But you can’t just not have closure to a story”

“Do you like BTOB?” Luhan randomly changed the subject

“Uhh sure”

“I love them- especially Minhyuk, oh my god”

“I thought you liked DBSK”

“I do!”

“Watch the movie” Sehun said again

“WHAT’S WITH YOU AND FORCING ME TO WATCH THIS?”

“I want to see you cry”

“YAHHHHH!!!!”

“H-HEY!”

Luhan fell asleep on Sehun’s lap, the latter who awkwardly tried to wake the other up but failed so he sat there watching The Vow- alone with a sleeping guy on this lap.

He would never admit to Luhan how sad and beautiful it was

Or that he wanted to cry while watching A Walk to Remember because it was just so upsetting

Luhan snuggled close to him, Sehun wondered if Luhan could feel how freezing his skin was, but it had been warmer recently- more human.

He wondered why.
