SJ Manager Getting Married, too?!

An Angel's Promise To The Sky
"WHAT is the meaning of this? What's this invitation all about?" Lee Soo Man asked when he was handed an invitation in a dark blue scented paper, "Is someone about to get married or something?" he asked,

"Songsaengnim, that's a wedding invitation and I wish that you can come to the occasion." Kim Junghoon replied to Lee Soo Man,

"Are you finally getting married, Junghoon-ah? Who's the lucky girl?" Lee Soo Man asked playfully, "You didn't come here and show her to me."  The SME Chairman said,

"Err... she's just a simple girl, songsaengnim and honestly she's quite shy to see you. I would've let her meet you but she's reluctant." Junghoon said, "And moreover, she's swooning over the SME artists whenever I bring her here, so..." Junghoon urged,

"Arasso. I will see your bride on the wedding day, anyway." Lee Soo Man said as he opened the invitation, "What's this? Shinrang, Cheonsa. Shinbu, Gongzhu?" he then said when he read what is written on the invitation card,

"Ahh. That's what they... er.. she wanted to write on our invitation. I... I can't say no to my... princess wife, right?" Junghoon said and laugh awkwardly,

"Jeongmal? An Angel and A Princess. Why don't you just write your names on the card for the invitation? That would be clearer than this, Junghoon-ah." Lee Soo Man then said, "And you're planning to marry in a traditional way? It indicates I have to wear traditional clothes, here."

"She said she wanted to be different and all of our common friends know that we call each other that when we're together." Junghoon replied awkwardly, "Are you sure you can come, songsaengnim?" Junghoon then asked their Company chairman,

"I will. Of course I won't miss this kind of event to have a bonding time with you guys, since all we do is work our asses out. You, in keeping our Super Junior boys together and the boys in practicing and performing for their fans." Lee Soo Man replied, "I know that you guys also need a breather on your work and your marriage can work as that for all of us. Congratulations, Junghoon-ah."

"K... kamsahamnida, songsaengnim. I really hope you can come to the wedding this weekend."

Kim Junghoon, one of the Super Junior Managers let out a heave of sigh when he got out of the Chairman's office to give his supposed wedding invitation. "Aish, that was harder than I thought. I didn't realize that songsaengnim is inside. I thought I can just pass the invitation to the secretary." he uttered to himself,

He then acknowledged the secretary when he passed at her table before leaving the area. He was headed towards the SME Practice room where Super Junior is and doing their dance routine for their performance that evening,

"Oh, it's Junghoon hyung!" he heard Ryeowook said as he saw him enter the practice room. All of them are resting on the floor laying their heads on each other's stomach. They really don't change. They are just like before they even started. Acting like kids all the time.

"Where is Leeteuk-ah? Has anybody seen him?" Junghoon asked the group,

"Leeteuk hyung is in the veranda. I think he's talking to hyungsunim." Donghae said and nudged his head towards to where Leeteuk is,

"Yah! Be quiet. Someone might hear you and spread the news about Leeteuk hyung being married." Eunhyuk then said and elbowed Donghae's side,

"Mweo? As if they can hear us outside. The room is soundproof. No matter what we say here can't be heard unless the door is open." Donghae said and hit Eunhyuk's head slightly,

Yah, you two. Stop that at once. You better have that talk at the dorms and not here." Junghoon said before heading towards the veranda. There he saw Leeteuk standing alone looking at the sight of whole Seoul and smiling,

"Ne. Ne I still have some practice to do, yeobo. I will just call you when I'm done... Take care of yourself and the baby for me, arasso?... Saranghae, Mrs. Park." Junghoon heard Leeteuk said on the phone, before he turned and saw him by the sliding door.

"Oh, Junghoon hyung, have you...?" Leeteuk asked him when at once,

"Ne. I didn't expect that songsaengnim was there. I didn't want to have the Q&A with the Big Man but for you, I did." Junghoon said and playfully smirked,

"I understand. I really appreciate this, hyung. I'm at your mercy because of this." Leeteuk said and grinned at their manager.

"You're at my mercy? Then why don't you buy me and the boys dinner for the rest of the week?" Junghoon joked, "You can pay me up if you let us dine in a fancy restaurant and having a nice glass of wine."

"Hyung! That's too much. I think Siwon-ah can do that but not me. I can do with the take outs and all that but a fine dining..." Leeteuk said and whined like a child which made their manager laugh,

"And to think you're getting married in a few days and having a baby soon, you're acting like a child yourself! Yah, you look really funny, Leeteuk-ah." Junghoon said, "I'm not all that serious on that but if you still want to push it then no one is stopping you." he then grinned,

Leeteuk was dumbfrounded on what his manager is telling him and then grinned afterwards, showing his dimpled smile.

"Where is Sora now? Is she still working?" Junghoon asked Leeteuk,

"Yes. She requested to work until her tummy is noticeable to the public. She wants to do everything she can while she's at it." Leeteuk replied sadly, worrying about his wife and baby,

"Mweo? Isn't that dangerous considering the hours that we have at work is unpredictable. She can't avoid sleeping late if she's still working." Leeteuk's manager said,

"That's what I told her but as I've said she insisted on it and won't back down on me. I don't want to put too much stress on her that's why I just agreed to it." Leeteuk then said,

"Are you out of your mind? Sora is pregnant and you don't let her do things like that if she's in that condition." Leeteuk's manager argued,

"What do you want me to do? Argue with her instead and give her worries? That's worse than just letting her do what she wants for now, right?" Leeteuk said again, "Hyung, I'm worried as it is. She's not with me right now, so spare me the lectures."

"Wae? Where is she now? Still at the States?" Junghoon asked again, they are aware that Sora got the part for the voice of the lead character Merida from the Disney 3D movie, Brave. Sora was invited to the Disney Studios in the United States, where she is staying right now to see its facilities from the movie.

"Ne. I haven't seen her for quite a few days now, all I can do is give her a call after I get home." Leeteuk answered sadly, "The time difference in the States is quite hard. I usually call at night 'coz I want her to have a complete rest. I know that she's busy there too."

"Yeah right. I know how you miss Sora. Honestly, I didn't thought that you'll end up marrying her, I mean she marrying someone like you. I was thinking that Sora can't handle the pressure of being a hallyu star's secret girlfriend." Junghoon said and smiled,

"I didn't think that she can last too, I was dreading for the day that she's going to tell me she will break up with me because I'm Super Junior's Leeteuk."

"What would you do if that happened and she asked you that?"

"I would really beg for her and show her how much she means to me. I would do anything for her, hyung." Leeteuk said and smiled, "I will do anything for my girl, Kang Sora."

"You don't have to though. She's yours and she's not Leeteuk's secret girlfriend anymore, but a secret wife." Junghoon giggled,

"Ah, before I forget. Is Sora-ya coming back from the States before your wedding?" Junghoon inquired to Leeteuk,

"Ne. She'll be here on Wednesday or Thursday probably. Wae?" Leeteuk asked his manager back,

"You have a schedule to film WGM on Saturday with her and..." Junghoon said slowly,

"And?..."

"That's going to be your last day of filming We Got Married." Junghoon said that saddened Leeteuk.

The Fading of Bright Stars

In the years we shared work spaces, seldom did our hours crossed. She worked night shifts, while I move around across different time zones to meet the demands of my profession. She was a luminary; a survivor of countless excisions when the demands of work is lesser than what is required of human resources. And if not for the months-long infirmity last year, she would have endured the most recent culling. She became part of the statistics, only to return when a colleague flew abroad to get married and live with her fiancé.

A fine lady in her early 30's, one would easily mistake her for an East Asian. Her eyes disappear when she smiles, and her porcelain skin is the envy of many. Her gauntly frame, albeit a cause of concern, hardly bothers any. Colleagues would tell she eats nothing but Chippy and Coke. But who are we to forbid her of such pleasures? She delivers, and for all we care, satisfied are we of her job performance.

Talk is an avocation the two of us hardly engage. Reason lies in office hierarchy, but more so, because we respect each other's solitary leanings. But this doesn't mean ambivalence, or hidden disdain. Words may have never articulated what my thoughts were, but I've always regarded her in high esteem.
