When I woke up the next morning, I couldn't help but smile when I caught a glimpse of Dongwoon's face. He looked so peaceful. Feeling content to be wrapped into his arms, I absentmindedly traced some patterns on his chest with my finger. I really like the feeling of his warm chest under my fingertips. Suddenly he grabbed my hand.

“Hmm, groping me again, huh?”, he asked and smirked.

I chuckled. “Sorry, couldn't resist.”

He lifted my hand to his lips and placed a soft kiss on the palm of my hand.

“Good morning.”, he whispered.

“Good morning, Handsome.”, I said softly and cupped his cheek with my hand.

He leaned into my hand and placed another kiss on my palm.

Suddenly I heard some noises from the bed. Hmm, seems like our dear Hyemi was awake. It was time for her to face reality. Smiling, I pushed him down and pushed my elbow into the mattress to hover over him. Then I gently bit his lower lip. When he arched an eye brow, I chuckled quietly and gave him a soft kiss on lips, his jaw, his neck, his shoulder blade....and suddenly he cupped my face with his hands and pulled me up again to give me a kiss that blew my mind. I didn't even notice the cold temperature anymore because his kiss was setting my body on fire. For a moment, I was lost in the feeling of his lips on mine and his hands on my back. When we finally broke apart, we both were breathless.

“Hmm, I could get used to this.”, he said and smirked.

I smacked him lightly and laughed. “Idiot.”

“Dongwoon?”

We both sat up and glanced at the bed. Hyemi was sitting there with a pout on her face. I gave her an evil smile and leaned my head against his shoulder blade. Her face didn't change but I could see that she was clenching her fists.

“You're awake, Noona. What's the matter?”, he asked worriedly.

I laid a soft kiss on his shoulder blade. He absentmindedly my back.

“Dongwoon-ah, could you do me a favor? My ankle still hurts but I want to go to the stream. Could you help me, please?”, she asked sweetly.

I tensed and waited for his answer.

“Of course, Noona.”, he said.

He gave me a quick kiss on my forehead and entangled himself from me to stand up. I immediately missed the warmth of his body.

He quickly put on his shirt. I wrapped the blanket around me and leaned back on the couch, a frown on my face. He must have noticed it because he smiled at me and gave me a soft kiss on my lips.

“I'll be right back.”, he whispered.

Then he walked towards the bed and lifted Hyemi into his arms. When they passed me, she shot me an evil grin. Before I could react to her provocation, they already left the cabin.

I sighed. Even though it was difficult, I should really stop getting angry whenever she was trying to provoke me. In the end, I was the one falling asleep in his arms and not her. Thinking about this gave me pure satisfaction. She would never get the chance to taste his intoxicating lips. Smiling, I stood up and went towards the stove to prepare breakfast. When I was finished, they still didn't return. I wondered what took them so long. Well, maybe Hyemi was taking her time at the stream, thinking that she could win him over when I wasn't there. So, pathetic.

Totally bored, I sat in front of the fireplace and stared into the flames. Suddenly I heard a strange noise behind me. It sounded like a 'click' or something like that. Curious, I stood up and turned around....and came face to face with a gun.

What the heck?

“You think you're really clever, huh?”, Hyemi asked.

I didn't know what was more disturbing: the face that she seem to be able to walk perfectly or that she was pointing a gun at me. Well, okay. Definitely the latter.

“What are you doing?”, I asked carefully.

“Isn't it obvious?”

“Okay, then why are you pointing a gun at me?”

She sighed. “You know, it could have been so much easier if you just walked away and stayed away from Dongwoon. But no, you kept clinging to him like a filthy parasite. But yeah, in the end it's all just your fault, little Thu Ha. I wanted to avoid this. I really do. But you left me with no other choice.”

“There's always another choice.”

“Oh, just shut up, will you?”

Then I noticed that someone was missing.

“Where's Dongwoon? What did you do to him?”, I asked, trying hard not to freak out.

“He's just taking a nap at the stream. I do not intend to harm him. You however don't have this luck.”

“Why are you doing this?”

“You sure are asking a lot of questions. But I'm feeling generous today, so I'm gonna answer them for you.” She frowned. “I'm only doing this because this stupid guy dumped you in this forest before checking who you guys are. Or especially who Dongwoon is. So I had to to fix his mistake by following you guys and taking on the role of the poor hurt girl who needs your help.”

It finally dawned on me. “Wait...you are working for this cab driver and the other man who robbed us?”

She snorted. “I'm not working for these idiots, they are working for me.”

“What are you trying to gain with these stupid games?”

“Well, considering that you won't be able to walk out of here alive, I guess I can tell you. Initially I intended to kidnap Dongwoon and exchange him for money. But I have to admit that I've became quite smitten with our handsome boy, so I changed my plans. I want him to stay with me and make me his lover. Being in a relationship with an idol sounds quite interesting, don't you think?”

“He will never take you as his lover!”, I snapped.

“Oh, dear, he will. While grieving for your death, I'll stay by his side and support him. It'll only be a question of time until he'll fall for me.”

“You won't get away with this.”

“We will see, won't we?” She laughed. “Oh right, you won't be here anymore to see it. My bad.”

I just glared at her.

“Well, I'm growing tired of you. Let's end this quickly. Any last words?”

“Rot in hell.”

“Aaww, no need to be cute.” She smiled. “Well then...farewell,.”

I closed my eyes and braced myself for the end. I never would have imagined to die this way. Images from every beloved person flashed through my mind. My family, my friends.....and Dongwoon. I was only allowed such a short time of happiness with him. No matter what, I was so gonna come back and haunt this 's .

Suddenly I heard gasp and then a thump. What the heck was going on? I slowly opened my eyes and it took me a while to register what I saw. Hyemi was lying unconscious on the floor, the gun several feet away from her. Behind her stood Dongwoon with a chair in his hand. He narrowed his eyes at her and then his gaze fell on me. I was overwhelmed by a number of emotions: anger and disappointment because he didn't believe me that Hyemi was a fake , shock from having a near-death-experience and relief that he wasn't hurt. The latter emotion won and I ran into his arms when he dropped the chair. I hugged him tight, inhaling his familiar scent.

“You okay?”, he whispered into my hair, his arms tight around my waist.

“I'm coping...kinda.”, I said quietly. “And you? What happened at the stream?”

“I put her down next to the stream and when I turned my back to hear, I felt sudden pain on the back of my back and then everything went dark. When I woke up again, she wasn't there anymore. When I came back, I saw her pointing a gun at you. I quietly grabbed a chair and knocked her out.” He rubbed his head. “She must have knocked me out at the stream.”

“Oh my gosh, I'm so glad that you came back in time.”

He my hair. “It's okay. I'm here, I'll keep you safe.”

I lingered in his arms for a while and then I stepped back, reluctantly of course. “I'll only feel safe when that witch is shackled. I don't want to have her or a friggin' gun near me again.”

“Okay. Go look around for ropes or tape or something like that, I'll put her on the chair.”, he said and lifted her up.

I dug through the cupboard but didn't find anything useful. Then I saw her giant backpack and pulled it towards me. After rummaging through it, I finally found tape. But I also found some other interesting things and I couldn't help but squeal.

Startled, Dongwoon turned around. “What's the matter?”

“You will never guess what I just found in her backpack.”, I said and grinned.

He arched an eye brow. “Tape?”

“That and something else.”, I said and tossed him the tape.

He started tying Hyemi to the chair with the tape. “Please don't tell me you found her or her tampons.”

“Ew, no. Gross.”, I said and wrinkled my nose.

When he shot me an annoyed look, I grinned. “Ms. Barbie Girl was lying to us.”

“No , Sherlock. I kinda figured that out when I saw her pointing a gun at you.”

I rolled my eyes. “Grumpy, aren't we? What I was trying to say was that she was lying to us about her phone being broken.”

He widened his eyes. “You mean...”

“Yes. Let me present to you our ticket out of this forest.”, I said and pulled out Hyemi's phone. “I think it's time to say goodbye to this lovely cabin.”
