I walked slowly toward the practice room of SM Entertainment in the middle of the night to practice some dance moves because I like to dance while clearing my mind along the dripping sweat. I opened the door to be welcomed with a female figure lying on the ground of the dark room while holding her knees close to her chest. Her hair sprawled on the floor and she was back-faced me so I couldn’t recognize who the girl is. I thought that she was sleeping before she got up and walked to me with a slow yet steady pace. I held my breath and felt frozen, but I sighed after witnessing that the mysterious girl is actually Jessica eonni. She grinned playfully, and then hugged me tight into her embrace. We didn’t move for five minutes or so. Then, it hit me that I had not seen this girl for the whole week. I missed her. She was still the skinnier and paler girl compared to last year, but her eyes had a different sorrow in it. She was depressed again; it was a bad sign for all of us. I caressed her back; I thought she needed it now more than the sweet words that everyone shoved her with. Her grip loosened yet she grabbed my right hand and led me to the corner of the room. “I’m sorry to be like this again. I had promised you and the other members to not be in this state. But, I can’t help it.” She confessed, almost like a whisper in my ears. I smiled bitterly, feeling contented for her honest confession.

“It’s okay to not be okay, eonni. You can let it all out now. I’m here with you and for you only.” I said to her with the sweetest voice I could mutter. I caressed her hand with my thumb softly, trying to calm her chaotic heart.
