CHAPTER 18

It’s been a week since Minho went to Australia. There, he continued studying. Krystal on the other hand is spending her vacation alone.

While Sulli…

“Yah! Do you miss my brother already?” she asked Krystal who’s often visiting their house.

“No… I think it would be better if I should get used to live without him.” She answered.

“Aye! Don’t worry, oppa won’t forget you.”

“Really? It’s been a week but he hadn’t given me a call yet.”

“Maybe he’s busy…”

“I guess so.”

“Ah… wait. How about seeing a movie later?” Krystal asked

“hmmmm…”

“I’ll call Taeminnie…” Krystal mouthed

“Speaking of Taemin, haven’t seen him for weeks already… he’s not coming here, nor giving me a call…” Sulli blubbered

“what? Are you joking? How can a bestfriend who acts like a boyfriend forget to visit his dearest girl-friend? Tsk tsk.” Krystal slowly shook her head.

“well… I think he’s busy with other things…”

“Other things more important than you?”

“I guess so…”

“ahhh!! Even though, I’ll call him to accompany us…” Krystal insists.

“up to you.”

[At the movie house]

Taemin approached Sulli as soon he saw her.

“You’re all alone?” he asked her

“Yes. Obviously.” Sulli answered.

Then Taemin’s phone beeps suddenly…

He picked it up and read the message.

From: Krystal

“Mianhe… I can’t come with you guys… I suddenly had a stomach ache. Anyway, enjoy the movie guys! Hwaiting!”

“What? She’s not going to join us?” Sulli yelled.

Taemin nods

“Looks like she set us up.” He added.

“Wae? What’s wrong? Aren’t you suppose to come if it’s only me whom you’ll join inside?” Sulli asked.

“Ani. Actually I’m happy.” Taemin smirked.

“tssshhh.”

“It’s been a year since we watched movie together…” Taemin remembered.

“So?”

“So… let’s go inside…” he grabbed her hands and led her inside.

So they watched a movie together… after two hours, they went outside because the movie is already done.

“Want to have some coffee?” Taemin asked

“are you kidding me?”

“No. Why? What’s wrong?”

“You are well aware that I AM NOT DRINKING COFFEE.” Sulli emphasized.

“Oh. Yea… right. Sorry, I forgot…”

“Let’s go home…” Sulli said.

“Yah! Are you mad? I said I am sorry.”

Sulli stopped frm walking…

She looked at him.

She faked a smile. “It’s alright Lee Taemin.” she left him and headed to the bus stop. She didn’t wait for Taemin anymore.

“Yah!! Where are you going?” Taemin yelled at her.

Sulli never looked back at him and immediately ride a bus as soon as a bus arrived.

“How could he disregard me like that? Aish!” Sulli just shook her head

Meanwhile…

Taemin is calling her.

Sulli picked up but never say any word.

On the other line “Yah! Why did you left me? Are you really mad.”

“Ani… Sorry I have to catch a bus immediately coz I forgot daddy might come home early tonight.” Sulli’s alibi

“Really? So why didn’t you tell me to walk you home?”

“No need… Since you’re not fond of doing it anymore…” She answered.

“Sulli-yah… Yah… you’re really mad…” he concludes.

“I’m hanging up”

[Taemin’s home]

“It’s already late… you’re from Suzy again?” Onew asked Taemin

“oh.” he briefly answered.

“tsk tsk.” Onew slowly shook his head.

“Are you replacing sis-in-law now?” he added.

“Hyung… she’s my bestfriend…”

“Exactly…”

“Exactly what? She’s my bestfriend… Not a girlfriend… SO I have every right to do what I want to do.” Taemin answered.

“So… You’re disregarding what she feels now… do you?”

Taemin stopped for a while…

“You let her feel what it feels like to be treated like she’s your someone special… then what? You’ll treat her this way? No wonder she misunderstood you right now…” Onew added.

Taemin went to Suzy’s house… He’s always there everyday since Suzy’s father went to Busan for work. Taemin is tutoring Suzy math… other than that, they became closer… Taemin enjoys Syzy’s company… Taemin is slowly falling fall her but he’s confused because at the time that he’s with Suzy, he’s missing Sulli…

 “You should quit joining the Campus media and focus at your studies…” Taemin reminded Suzy

“You think so?”

Taemin nods…

“But you? How could you manage joining organization and at the same time, be on the top10?”

“Because I’m good.” Taemin joked.

“Yah!!! And I’m not?” Suzy sarcastically asked.

“Of course not… You just need to focus… Look at Sulli, she managed to be on top10 because she never joined any organization…”

“Really? She was a Tennis Club member right?”

“Minho-hyung kicked her out…” Taemin laughed.

“Why?”

“Because he knows that Sulli is a tennis-addict… she might not get focused to her studies, once she’ll be chosen as our school’s representative as a replacement for Taeyeon-noona…”

“Oh… Is that so? By the way, how much do you know Sulli?” Suzy asked

“I know her since pre-school.” Taemin answered

“Wahhh… how lucky she is…”

“Why?”

“She already has someone like you at her side since pre-school.”

Taemin smiled.

“Wae? What’s that smile for…?” Suzy asked

“Ani… I think I should go home now…”

“Why so early?”

“I have some important thing to do…”

“More important than me?” Suzy joked.

Taemin smiled… “I guess so.”

[SULLI’s ROOM]

Taemin calling…

Sulli picked up.

“Wae?”

On the other line “I’m outside your house.”

Sulli leaned on her window… he saw Taemin outside the gate.

“Wae? What’s your problem?” Sulli asked.

“I miss you.”

Sulli didn’t say a word…

“hello? Are you still there?”

“ughh.. wait I’ll be right there…”

Sulli went out her room and see Taemin…

She opened the gate.

Taemin went inside as soon as Sulli opened the gate…
