CHAPTER 11

[YURI’s BIRTHDAY PARTY]

The venue is at a pool garden… Sulli and Krystal are in cocktail dresses, so with Taeyeon… they are dazzling…

There are many guests.

The boys are in black suites.

Yuri on the other hand is still at the dressing room… she is still preparing… Minho isn’t able to see her yet.

Sulli and Krystal just stayed at the mini bar. While Taeyeon, Onew, Minho and Jonghyun are on the table reserved for them. Taemin didn’t arrive yet.

“Where’s Taemin?” Taeyeon asked.

“He’s coming…” Onew answered.

Meanwhile.

“Isn’t it that Taemin?” Krystal saw him from afar.

Sulli looked. She shrugged.

“Excuse me. I’ll just go get some drinks.” Krystal excused when she noticed that Taemin is coming towards them.

“Am I late?” Taemin asked as soon as he arrived.

“No.” Sulli answered. She’s about to left him but Taemin grabbed her hand.

“Mwo-ya?!?!?!” Sulli yelled.

“You are about to spend the night with me.” Taemin smirked and lead her on the way out.

He opened Onew’s car and asked Sulli to go inside. Sulli on the other hand is clueless… She just ride the car as to what Taemin commanded.

“What’s the matter?” Sulli asked.

“You’re so beautiful.” Taemin looked at her with her hair and makeup plus her dazzling and elegant cocktail dress.

Sulli sarcastically laughed.

“You dragged me here just to tell that? You must be crazy!” She answered.

“Ofcourse not.” Taemin replied. They are just both looking at the wind shield of the car.

“So, what’s your problem?” Sulli asked trying to calm herself because she don’t want to start an argument with Taemin for that night atleast.

But Taemin suddenly hugged Sulli tight. –real tight

Sulli was startled. She couldn’t speak for a while. That hug was last experienced when Sulli’s mom died.

Sulli swallowed her saliva. Her heart beats fast. It pounds very hard. Taemin on the other hand felt that her heart is pounding…

“I missed my bestfriend.” Taemin start speaking.

Sulli tried escape from the tightness of Taemin’s hug. “Be still. Don’t you know how hard it is to lose a friend?” he said as he was trying to tighten more the grasp of his arms on her body.

Sulli remains silent.

“Don’t you know how hard it is to find a friend like you? I tried finding one… but no one can ever replace you as my friend.” Taemin added.

“Just because you can’t find a friend that is similar like me, you’re here coming back like a lost puppy?” Sulli began speaking.

Taemin laughed.

“What’s funny?” she asked.

“You’re funny.” He answered. “I am not coming back, I’m not the one who’ve gone away anyway.” He added. He released Sulli from his arms.

“Not me either.” Sulli said.

Sulli is really curious whether he really pursue courting Taeyeon or not… But she can’t find an exact word to ask.

“oh come on… Who avoided us first?” Taemin asked.

“You.” She answered.

“Me? When did I?”

“It started when you’re not joining me at lunch anymore.”

“What? Really? Is that the reason why?” he tried to confirm.

“Yes. Then what else could be the reason?”
