A  Song of Water and Fire

Summary:

Jessica Jung, an average highschool student caught up in studying for exams, is into an ancient Japanese novel titled, "The Lost Hero". There she discovers that she is in an ancient country in what is now Japan, Kyushu, and is to be the priestess of Kyushu. As the priestess, her duty is to gather the Seven immortals in Kyushu, who are to be her protectors. Once they are gathered the priestess will be able to summon the "Phoenix" together with the seven immortals and give ultimate power and control to any empire. But it's harder than it seems. Along the road, many hardships are faced, as Jessica's best friend Kim Taeyeon enters the book and becomes her rival, the priestess of Hokkaido, who also gathers the Seven immortals in Hokkaido. Who summons the Phoenix first is up to the courage and skill of the priestesses and their immortals, as they meet triumphs and tragedies along the way.

Characters:

Jung Jessica

She is an ordinary 18 year old senior highschool student.Outgoing and optimistic, Jessica shows herself amiable with friends and strangers, and has a tendency to be guileless and sentimental. She is naïve, but sometimes surprises adults with an insightful comment. Jessica is generous and cares greatly for other people and perceives herself to be a considerate person. She can be unassuming and unsophisticated, but also magnanimous and courageous. Because she creates the impression of a person who always needs help, Jessica has the good fortune of almost always having someone looking after her. Jessica has a primary weakness: her laziness. She sleeps constantly and doesn't care in where she's gonna sleep. 

Kim Taeyeon

An intelligent and mature girl, 18 years old, she is a senior highschool student and Jessica's best friend. A passionate person at heart, she tends to see the world in black and white terms and is easily infuriated with perceived betrayal. Taeyeon is confident and bold with everything she does, but longs for someone to take care of her.

So the characters in this page are not the only ones who are the main characters. There will be a new character for every chapter or so. So please don't think that because it's only Jessica and Taeyeon here, they are the only main characters. You're wrong if you think like that.

I'm assigning colors per main character. I hope you can remember them because it might confuse you in the future if you don't remember their colors.
