Like the unyielding dark ocean with unnerving waves, my mood had changed to suddenly and so dark to the only companion I've had for a very long time. I stared up through the dark looking at the light shining through the window of the apartment. Sighing, I thought about what Hyuk Jae must be thinking about me to the emotions I felt while staring at the young boy from the park, begging for more bubbles to be blown. With feelings that couldn't be explained, a moment of realization that some point in my life that had once been me, that I had once looked up to someone bigger and stronger than me to fulfill all of my demanding wishes, seemed also completely impossible.
Living with my demanding parents, and my only, evil, sibling sister who looked down on everyone and everything that was poorer than our family, how could I feel those emotions flow through me? I tried to think back to a time when someone else was in my life, but to no avail. There was never a time like that for me. I continued to stare up at the window, knowing I should go back up and apologize to Hyuk Jae, but I couldn't bring my feelings or legs to adapt with my changing emotions.
Instead, I continued to wait outside, thinking quietly to myself, even after the light shining through the window had disapeared. The hands of the clock slowly ticked by as I paced back and forth from one side of the apartment complex to the other. For most of the night, I stayed in one kind of attitude until my mind and body slowly grew too weary to walk or think anymore. Even so, my legs and mind hindered me from going back up to the shared apartment, so they dragged me to my car instead where I spent the other half of the long dark night.
The next morning, birds chirping and the suns brilliant rays of light, awoke me. It took me a while to remember the ordeal of yesterdays events that caused me to sleep in my car rather than on a bed, but the events quickly came crawling back like the return of waves crashing on a beach. Shaking of the sleep still holding on, I exited my car and headed for the shared apartment.
