Song For The Chapter: Hyunah (4minute)- Change ft B2ST’s

Jae In POV

This is a change. My plan was to go Jae In then Dongho,
and over again but I think this chapter would be better if
it was Jae In’s point of view.

I walked into my one room house. I sat down by my desk
leaning on the wall. I can remember the moment clearly. I
can still feel his lips on mine, When he finally moved
away we didn’t even say a word. We just sat there and then
I left. I didn’t even say bye. He didn’t say to wait up
either. Days went like that. When I say him I passed by
pretending not to see him. Even though he sat next to me I
just payed attention in class. But once in awhile I would
look at him in the corner of my eyes. Then he day of our
school dance festival was around the corner.

"Jae In ah~, please come on. We have so little time.” Suzy
whined.

“Yeah, we are seniors. We have no more chances to do this
now.” Soohyun backed her up.

“I said no. I do not need another reason for Gayoon,
Hyunah, and Soyeon, the winners of the last year dance
festival, to have a grudge on me.” I said as I got myself
ready to leave to my hide out.

“You promised you will do it last year.” Suzy said still
whining.

“There is no reason for me to enter this dance contest.” I
said now finally annoyed at Suzy's whining.

‘There’s scholarship for the first place winner this
year.” Soohyun said. That caught my attention.

“A Scholarship?” I questioned.

“Yep, for the rest of the school year.” Suzy said. “And
you love dancing.”

“I’ll think about it. Hurry up so we can go.” I said. Suzy
smiled. She knew that had convinced me.

“Oh I need to finish up the cleaning the classroom. Meet
you guys there.” Soohyun said he ran out of the room.

*HIDE OUT*

Suzy and I changed into our usual dancing clothes. Suzy
was wearing her pink sweats that are up to her knees with
her off the shoulder belly top. I was wearing my green
shorts white a big white hoodie. And we were wearing our
matching black sneakers.

“Okay, so what should we start with?” I asked.

“Let’s do Poker Face today.” Suzy said excited. I turned
on the music while Suzy pushed the mirror walls out. The
music started and we were both into our dance right away.
We were doing our own choreography of Poker Face. We
always have so much fun when we are doing it. The music
ended and there were claps. We both turned around. It was
Soohyun and next to him was Dongho.

“That was amazing. Better than before.” Soohyun said as he
walked towards Suzy. “Don’t you think so, Dongho?”

“Yeah. I told you I don’t want to be here.” Dongho said
turning around to leave.

“Come on. We have two girls and one boy. We need one more
boy to make it look better. You have to do it. I know you
can dance.” Soohyun said as he ran his way back to Dongho.

“Really? You can dance?” Suzy asked.

“It’s just a hobby. You know for fun. I do it only once in
awhile.” Dongho answered.

“Just like Jae In. She never danced in front of people but
us two. Well now three. She just do it to relieve the
stress she gets as Jae In and Jang Mi.” Suzy said back. I
looked up and saw Dongho stare at me.

“If he joins then I will have to dance with him?” I asked.

“Yep. I’m not letting you dance with my Soohyun.” She said
as she ran over to Soohyun.

“Then you two should just do it.” I said in a calm and low
voice.

“What? Why?” Soohyun and Suzy said together.

“I didn’t want to do it. He doesn’t want to do it. There’s
no reason for us to do this. And you guys look good
together anyways. If I dance with him, I will get beaten
to death anyways. You guys practice I will leave.” I got
my stuff and walked to the door. As I made my way through,
Dongho grabbed my arm.

“At this moment you are still worried about those girls?”
he sounded surprisingly angry.

“Yes. My life depends on it.” I said.

“Then you can show them that they can’t control your
life.” his voice was getting louder.

“How? I think that’s impossible. why don’t you show me?” I
said now my voice started to get louder.

“You can dance. You can win the dance festival.” he said
now teasingly. He got on my nerves.

“Fine.” I yelled.

It took us couple of minutes to calm ourselves down. And
it took us thirty minutes to get our moves down. The first
round was tomorrow and that’s all the time we had in our
hands.

*SCHOOL AUDITORIUM*

There were only four groups in the festival so this was a
semi-final to the four groups.

“Now up is Suzy, Soohyun, Dongho, and Jae In.” The teacher
said. Everyone turned to look around to look for us. Suzy
and I opened the back door we walked in. Suzy had her hair
down and she had long big curls. She wore a black and
white lacy skirt, a tight white tube top with a black thin
scarf and white heels. I was totally different, according
to Suzy. My hair was down and curled also. I wore black
skinny jeans with a white halter top that came tight under
my chest but flowy down with a nice white opened toed
ankle boots.

When we got on stage I could see Dongho and Soohyun
waiting by the side. Suzy and I sat on the chair that was
on stage. The lights wee off and the spotlight was on us.

Who knew such a simple dance can change a girl’s life?
