Jongin’s POV:

 

As I walked into my room, I grabbed my cell phone and looked at my hand. Those number tempted me to dial them. My fingers pressed the buttons that held the digits but I stopped when I was about to press the green button. Kyungsoo came into my head, and I threw my phone somewhere along the bed. The taste of pizza still remained in my mouth.

 

“hey who knows? Maybe Kyungsoo will charm you and you’ll come crawling back to him”

 

Chanyeol don’t you dare jinx me. My voice grunted and I reached for my phone again. Dialing Hyuna’s number, I heard her pick up.

 

“hello?”

 

“Hyuna its me…Kai”

 

“finally you call but I’m sorry I already have a boyfriend now”

 

With that she hung up. I once again threw my phone. I should have never called her. Walking out into the cold hallway, I reached the fridge. Grabbed some of the home-made pudding, I the television. Watching the music video that showed, I grew tired and fell asleep.

 

“YAH! Kai! Wake up”

 

My eyes opened as I rubbed my eyes.

 

“Kyungsoo why are you waking me up?” I yawned.

 

“its time to go to work” he smiled.

 

“what?”

 

“yup! The boss really wants to meet you”

 

“b-but I don’t think I have formal clothes?”

 

“I already bought you a suit yesterday” he laughed.

 

I pouted and walked myself into the bathroom to freshen myself. Brushing my teeth, I looked at the mirror to capture that prefect smile. One more look and I headed to my room. Searching through the bags, I found the suit. A black suit with a red tie.

 

“not bad?” I said to myself as I quickly put it on.

 

Entering the kitchen, I was greeted my steamy food on the table. Kyungsoo was also wearing a suit but a white one.

 

“you look good in white” I said.

 

“thanks but hurry up and eat. We leave in about an hour”

 

“we still got a hour left”

 

“its good to be early”

 

“fine”

 

“just make sure you don’t spill any food on your new suit” he warned.

 

After we got done eating, he made me rush to the car. I tried telling him to slow down but he insisted to be early. I was to tired to argue with him and got into the car. He came out with two cups of coffee and closed the door.

 

“cream or sugar?”

 

“both”

 

He handed me my cup and again warned me not to spill any. Rolling my eyes, I sipped the warm coffee into my mouth. One the way to the work place, I started to look out the window. Chanyeol’s words kept repeating in my head. I had to shake my head a few time to get him out of my head.

 

“what’s wrong?” Kyungsoo asked as he glanced at me.

 

“oh nothing. I’m just tired”

 

“you sure?”

 

“yea”

 

Arriving at the work place, it seemed familiar to me. Walking inside, Kyungsoo leaded the way even though it seemed really familiar to me.

 

“the boss’s room it over there. I’ll come with you”

 

We started walking towards the door. Kyungsoo lightly knocked on the door.

 

“come in” a voice said that sounded familiar.

 

We walked into a dark room, the blinds closed. The lights and a figure was bowing their head down.

 

“I assume that your Kai and Kyungsoo?”

 

“y-yea” I said.

 

He lifted his head, and the eyes in my head almost popped out.

 

“I’m the boss’s assistant Luha- Jongin?”

 

“Jongin?” Kyungsoo said as he looked at me.

 

I grabbed Luhan’s arm and leaned my head close to his.

 

“w-what are you doing here Jongin?”

 

“too much to explain just call me Kai and act like you don’t really know me okay?”

 

“b-but the boss is…”

 

“I know who the boss is”

 

“but he’s your-”

 

“I know! I know he’s going to know me”

 

“but-”

 

“just go with the flow”

 

We separated and I went back to Kyungsoo. Luhan once again bowed and went to the desk. The chair spun around.

 

“Hellos Mr. Oh” Kyungsoo greeted.

 

“I told you a number of times that you can call me Sehun”

 

“that would be very rude of me but I brought Kai to you”

 

“where’s Kai?”

 

“standing right in front of me”

 

“that’s not Kai that’s Jong-”

 

I rushed in front of him and humbly bowed my head.

 

“please to meet you Mr. Oh. I’m Kai and I’m happy to work with you”

 

“as I said you can call me Sehun Kai”

 

“thanks for playing along Sehun” I whispered to him.

 

“you can tell me later the reason” he whispered back.

 

Sehun nodded his head at Luhan. Taking Kyungsoo’s arm, Luhan quickly exited the room. I faced him again and seated myself on a chair nearby.

 

“its nice to see you again Jongin” Sehun laughed as he ruffled my hair.

 

“you too Sehun”

 

We did our little hand-shake and seated ourselves on the chairs.

 

“I can see that you took over your family business?”

 

“yea…I married Luhan”

 

“really! Your long-time crush”

 

“I know right? He was the only child in his family that was close friends with mine. Then I found out that he liked me too”

 

“how did you guys marry? didn’t your parents decided for you to marry someone else”

 

“well I begged my parents and said that their friendship with the Han family could increase”

 

“but isn’t it wired that Luhan was a guy?”

 

“they noticed how much I loved Luhan and decided to agree”

 

I smiled at him and ruffled his hair like he did to mine.

 

“so what are you doing with Kyungsoo?”

 

“well I’m just staying with him but I want to find a good wife. To sum it up I don’t want to marry Wufan’s sister Jessica so I said to my parents that I will find a good wife”

 

“wow! Kyungsoo would make a good wife for you”

 

I smacked his head and crossed my arms.

 

“listen I’m just staying with Kyungsoo…th-that doesn’t mean I like him”

 

“ohhhh your in denial!” he snickered as he tried to hide his laugh.

 

“hey don’t jinx me like Chanyeol”

 

“you met with Chanyeol?”

 

“yea why?”

 

“ I heard that his appa finally agreed for him to marry Baekhyun”

 

“really?”

 

“yea…are you coming to their wedding?”

 

“first I need a date”

 

“don’t worry…their wedding isn’t until the next two months”

 

We talked some more and parted our ways since Sehun had a meeting in the next hour. I walked right next to Kyungsoo who was apparently leaving.

 

“we’re going already?”

 

“yea time goes by fast” he joked.

 

As we were leaving, Kyungsoo stopped at his second job. He worked at a pastry shop. As I watched him bake pies, cake, and the other good stuff.

 

“what do you want for dinner?” he asked.

 

“anything your cooking”

 

“you sure?”

 

“yea…anything you cook will always be delicious” I smiled.

 

He held out a spoon that held some icing.

 

“taste it”

 

Wiping some with my finger, I it.

 

“needs more sugar” I said.

 

He laughter filled the shop as I watched him bake some more.

 

Don’t tell me I just got jinx?
