50 years later………

A old man walked slowly on the street. Beside him, there are a lot of graves. “Good morning, Mr. Choi. You come earlier today.” A guy who is cleaning the graves greet him. “Good morning, Kyungil. Today is my wife’s birthday.” The old man said.  He wore a quite nice outfit today. But, he wore an old shoes. Some skin of the shoes already ripped. The shoes already dirty. He, then, sat beside his wife’s grave. After pray, he started to write a letter to his wife.

To : Taechan

            Dear Taechan,

            Good morning, my wife. Today is your birthday. Happy birthday! I’m still waiting the time when I can meet you again after 50 years. I still remember your wish. You want me to continue my life, move on, and do a successful career with Teen Top. And I really do it for you, because I already promise to be your good husband.

            At first, live without you is a hard thing to do. Every things that I do, makes me remember about our memories together. It makes me hurt everytime I do things that you like. But, I know, it will hurt your feelings too if I kept being like this. So, one day, I decided to move on. I did a successful career with Teen Top. We did a world tour, we made it to the Billboard charts, and we performed in Los Angeles.

            But, I never forget you. A lot of girls came approach me, but I always said, “I’m married now.” People maybe thought I’m crazy, but I think this is what we called ‘true love’. So, I lived alone, without any kids.

            I worked as a dance teacher now. Though I’m old but I know, I still can teach the youngsters with some moves. Sometimes, I appeared on tv too, with Teen Top. I lived with my student, Kim Jongin. We lived in a small apartment, but it’s enough for us.

            I really miss you here. No one with me now. They already be with you right now, and I miss them too. Can you send my message to them? Tell them I miss them.

               So, that’s the old man’s live for the past 50 years. And for these 50 years, he never forget his wife, that went away long time ago. He put the letter above the grave. He slowly got up, and walked again. He’s still wait for that time. The time when he and his wife can be together again.
