TWO HOURS LATER

I can't believe this is happening.

I wanted to slap myself.

Yoon Seob, Jaejoong, the rest of DBSK and I stood outside the double doors of the meeting room, preparing for the first press conference. I was hyperventilating. I was going to be on TV! And for A BAD REASON!!! That wasn't the most important thing...I WAS GOING TO BE ANNOUNCED AS KIM JAEJOONG'S GIRLFRIEND!!!

Yoon Seob was glaring at me the whole time, which didn't help.

"Remember," He kept repeating to us. "Lie when you can, try not to falter. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, ACT CONVINCINGLY."

Finally, the doors opened and we walked in. Reporters were all lined up and ready by the stage, as were photographers, who started snapping pictures immediately. On instinct, I cowered but Jaejoong touched my arm and shook his head slightly. The reporters seemed to find this interesting and quickly jotted down mysterious things down on their notepads.

Finally, one stood up and held out her microphone earnestly, "Please explain your relationship with Miss Rae Na."

I kept my expression blank, trying not to wonder how they knew my name. But it was to be expected.

Jaejoong had a complete mask of calm, "Miss Yeong Rae Na is my girlfriend."

This sparked immense interest and different reactions.

"How long have you been dating?"

"Why did you keep this secret?"

"Do your parents approve of this relationship?"

In one smooth move, Jaejoong put his arm around my shoulder and pulled me close. He had such a convincing loving smile on his face, I almost believed he liked me. But then I mentally slapped myself.

"We've been dating for a year and a half," He lied flawlessly. "We kept this secret because Rae Na wanted to continue her day job normally and announcing this would be a huge blow. Her parents accept me and my parents just adore her."

"Where do you work?" A journalist fired at me.

"Uh..." I swallowed.

"She works at a kindergarten," Jaejoong said with a smile, saving me. "She's good with kids."

I gave what I hoped was an agreeable grin.

The questions continued like that for a while until we were finally able to leave. Yoon Seob lead us to a secluded place where he praised Jaejoong on his lying skills and gave me another glare.

Before they left, Jaejoong wrote down his number for me.

With an expressionless face, he put it in my hand, "Call me if you need me."
