Kang Hyejae walked out of mini concert happy and satisfied.

She had finally been able to watch SHINee live.

She was happy.

She was finally out of the stuffy concert ground when suddenly, she froze.

She felt as if someone was calling out to her not to go.

“Wait for me, please! Don’t leave!” The voice said to her.

“That voice…” she said to herself but before she finished her sentence, she shook the thought away.

“It’s definitely not him.”

Hyejae began to walk again, her things all in her small bag strung across her body.

She stopped again as she heard the voice call out once more, even more desperate.

She shook her head and put a hand under her short bangs.

“Stop dreaming Hyejae. There’s no way that you and him can speak to each other…you’ve never even talked to-!”

Someone ran past her, making her lose balance.

She felt her arms reach up to try and grab something to stop her from falling.

And she did find something to grab.

A hand.

She felt herself get lifted back up by a strong and smooth hand and felt the persons other hand wound itself around her waist.

The person’s hand steadied her and once Hyejae’s breath was steady again, she said to the person,

“Kamsahamnida!”

Suddenly, the person looked up and Hyejae’s breath stopped.

For a good few seconds before they regained their strength.

“Mwo-“

She began for a second before she was kissed by him.

Him as in the leader of SHINee.

Him as in the guy she had just been staring out in his live performance.

Him as in the guy who she had loved for nearly 10 years.

Him as in the guy with the stage name, Onew.

Hyejae’s eyes widened and she felt as if her whole world was now upside down. She didn’t know that Onew was such a bold kind of person. She always knew him to be the shy type.

He broke apart from her and rested his forehead on her own.

“It’s you…” He said, breathless and his twinkling eyes stared at Hyejae’s own.

“Oppa…” Hyejae began but she didn’t really know what to say.

She just felt that she had to say something at that moment and “oppa” was the only thing she could come up with.

“Shh…” He said to her sweetly and just closed his eyes, his forehead still against hers.

For a few more minutes, the two of them just stood there, Onew’s arms tightly wound around Hyejae’s waist and Hyejae’s hands were limply on Onew’s arms.

Suddenly, they heard the fans inside the arena scream and Onew instantly knew that the concert was over.

“Kaja!” Onew said, breaking the peaceful silence, and, grabbing Hyejae’s hand, he ran off with her in two.

“Would you like a coffee?” Onew asked Hyejae but she was still in shock.

Onew didn’t say anything as he just stared at the dazed looking Hyejae for a second before smiling and decided to leave her alone so she could comprehend what had just happened.

He pushed open the doors to Starbucks and as he lined in queue, he began to wonder if the girl outside liked coffee.

“I’m not really a coffee person. But, I really like hot chocolate! Or I’m fine with milk tea too! Actually, I probably prefer milk tea because it isn’t as sweet and all…”

“You know, when I get a boyfriend, the first gift I want him to get me is one of those couple mugs thing that keeps the drink inside warm…that would be so sweet. It would be like we’re there for each other to warm each other up on a cold day! And even though I don’t really like Starbucks, I hope that the present will be from Starbucks regardless…”

Onew smiled.

Just in time too, he thought to himself and began to place his order in.
