Hyejae could not believe that she had just been sold!

“Mum, I am not marrying him!”

“What are you talking about honey?! You’ve loved him since 9^th grade! I still have like half the posters you collected from him in the basement!”

Hyejae blushed.

“But-“

“No buts. How long are you staying in Seoul for?”

“About another 4 months I think…why- NO!”

Hyejae saw the look on her mothers face and she did not like it one bit.

“Look. I want the two of you to get married! You two are of age!”

“Mum-“

“And plus, he obviously likes you back! Why won’t you give the poor boy a chance?!”

Because I love him too much to admit it and I left him one and don’t know if I can do it again!

But obviously she couldn’t say that.

“Mum…I really can’t-“

Hyejae’s mum shot her a stern look.

“I wasn’t into arranged marriage for you because I thought you would find yourself a boyfriend soon enough but it seems like that is not the case. The two of you are getting married whether you like it or not.”

***4 MONTHS LATER***

“Will you, Lee Jinki, promise to cherish Kang Hyejae through laughter, anger and till death do you part?”

Onew looked down at Hyejae and swiftly replied,

“I do.”

“And do you, Kang Hyejae, promise to cherish Lee Jinki through laughter, anger and till death do you part?”

Hyejae looked up at Onew and with just as swift as he, she replied,

“I do.”

“I know pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.”

Onew swept Hyejae off her feet and gave her a deep kiss. When Hyejae was back on two legs, Onew touched his forehead with hers and whispered,

“I love you Hyejae. And no matter where you hide from me, you’re never going to escape.”
