2 weeks later

  "So you were here." She says, she closes the rooftop door behind her and walks her way towards her best friend. It's silent between the two of them, neither one knowing what to say. Both watch the sunset with no words being spoken. "You've been missing from school for a while," Krystal begins.   She looks at Suzy who isn't looking at her. "Krystal," Suzy barely manages to get the words out. "I'm sorry." With that sorry, Krystal pulled her into a big hug.   "I wish you told me before..." Krystal mutters, both of the girls in tears. "I would've understood. I wouldn't have gone after Kai if I knew that you liked him. " Krystal confessed.   "I'm so sorry." Suzy cries. "You just seemed to like him a lot so I said nothing."   "Suzy, I'm going to tell you something." Krystal says, she puts both her palms on Suzy's checks and lifts her head so that their eyes are meeting. "Sometimes in life, it's okay to be selfish. If something makes you happy, you should do everything to keep that happiness." Krystal let's go of Suzy and wipes away both their tears.   When both the girls have calmed down Krystal pulled Suzy in for another hug. "Go after him." Krystal whispers into Suzy's ear before taking a step back. Suzy looks at Krystal, confused.   "I-I can't."   "It's okay. Really." Krystal smiles, patting her friend on the back to reassure her. "I broke up with Kai."   "W-what?" Hearing the news, only makes Suzy want to cry more. The fact that she might have been the reason for their breakup made her feel even more terrible than she already felt.   "Seriously, Suzy stop crying. It's okay, really." Krystal laughs. "I thought about it and realized that I like Kai, but not in the same way you do. I like him more as a friend. So go find him and tell him how you feel."   "It's too late though." Suzy mumbles.   "It's never to late." Krystal smiles. "So, go on and find your happiness."      

 

      earlier that day..       "Hey," Jongin greeted, seeing his girlfriend sitting on the grass of her front yard. He takes a seat next to her and rests his hands on his knees.   "Do you know what's wrong with Suzy?" Krystal chuckles hearing his question.   "Kai, why do you like me?" Jongin is caught by surprise hearing her question and continues to look at Krystal for a good two minutes.   "I-I" Jongin starts, but is cut off by Krystal.   "It's alright. I already know." Jongin stares at Krystal confused. "How do you feel about Suzy?" Jongin says nothing, but the look on his face gives himself away.   "She likes you." He hears her whisper. "She likes you a lot."   "A-are you sure?" Jongin stutters. Krystal stares at him and can't believe that she never caught on. She recalls all the times that Suzy and Kai were together. Her best friend liked her boyfriend from the very start. And now, she just found out that her boyfriend likes her best friend.   "Can't you see it? She loves you, more than you and I can imagine. It's in her eyes, it's in her voice, her smile," Krystal breathes, "She's so different when you're around. She's so much happier." Jongin is at a lost for words and doesn't know what exactly he could say or do to make it up to Krystal.   "So just go and find her, you idiot." Krystal laughs, while shoving Jongin lightly. "And if anyone asks, I broke up with you!" She shouts out, but ends up laughing.   Her best friend and her boyfriend, who would have thought?
