9 years later

“Ah~” I breathe heavily.

“Yah! Yunho you look tired. What happened?”

“I wasn’t able to get much sleep.”

I lounged under the tree at the back of our school with my best friend. Jaejoong and I were friends since elementary, and now we’re in high school. We’re now on our second year. “Yunho wake up! We’ll be late!”

As the bell rang, the teacher started discussing. It was our first day in second year yet I’m bored. I ended up leaning at the window. Then suddenly… “Oh...” A girl was running outside.

“What’s wrong?”

“Jae there’s a new girl” points outside.

“Oh you’re right, looks like she’s late.”

The girl I saw before is now timidly standing in front of our classroom’s door. She looks very nervous. The teacher saw her and called her in. She remembered she was the new student.

She came in warily. Looking at all of us, she stopped and starred at me. I was shocked. I remembered those eyes. It’s still round and so black. It was Jiyool, my Jiyool!

“Annyeong… I’m… I’m Lee Jiyool.” Still catching her breath.

“Jiyool?!”

She looked at me confusedly.

“… Who are you?”

“…” She didn’t recognize her childhood friend, I was dejected.

Jaejoong saw me speechless. “Oh that’s Yunho.” He pointed out to her.

“Yunho… Yunho-ah!”

“Ms. Lee since you two knew each other, go sit beside Mr. Jung”

“Oh… Thank you”

My heart’s pumping. The only girl I’ve ever love is here now with me. Her hands were together, slowly glancing at me. I don’t know what’s she’s thinking, but she seems shy.
