‘Aigoo! My head! My eyes!’
I quickly held Aunt Joori’s arms, supporting her as she let go of the piece of paper in her hands. The wedding card fell helplessly down on the marble floor while I alone kept pushing my aunt up. She definitely couldn’t handle the news but his son just stood still at the dining room, acting all usual.
He didn’t care about his own mother? How senseless.
‘Woo darling, how could you?! Wha-what if that tramp’s trying to trick you?! I don’t want you to get hurt..’
‘I know Seungyeon. She’s a –‘
‘Remember what happened to your cousin. I don’t agree with this idea from the start. Think about this thoroughly, Woohyun-ah. I don’t want the same thing that happened to your cousin to happen to you all over again.
