I finally found the time to update :))...one more chapter to go~~

That same night, Yunmi and Jaejoong snuggled with little Minjee as a million thoughts filled their heads. During that whole break, they made sure that they would spend time with Minjee as much as possible, because for all they know, she could disappear any minute. A week has passed and everyone was back to their daily schedules…well that was until Jaejoong made a preposterous suggestion to Yunmi.

“Let’s go on a date.”

“Hm?” Yunmi’s glass slipped out of her hand and smashed onto the tile floors, earning the stares of everyone in the C-Jes cafeteria. But she barely noticed as her eyes bulged out and her ears perked.

“! Are you okay?” Jaejoong carefully examined her hand and agitatedly look at the broken pieces. “Can we have someone clean this up?” He shouted to the people nearby, before taking a hold of Yunmi’s hand and leading her to a table. “Oh thank goodness, you’re fine.” He sighed in relief after he finished a full inspection check.

“Why?” Yunmi said quietly.

“What?” He missed it, for she spoke too soft.

“Why now?” She said clearer this time while staring directly into him.

“W-what’s wrong with now?” Jaejoong stuttered in nervousness. “You, don’t want…to?” He was, for once, scared of rejection, but an inaudible sigh left him when she shook her head no.

“I mean why now, it’s been at least 2 weeks since, you know.” She said. He arched an eyebrow. “Since we last,” she took a breath and said it in a whisper. “Kiss.” A slow smile formed on his lips as she began to stutter and play with her fingers while avoiding his gaze. “A-and who’s going to take care of Minjee. Rumors and scandals will arise again. And even so, where can we go, being celebrities and all. A-a—“

Jaejoong laid a finger on her lips to shush her up. Her face went tomato red and her eyes shifted around the room in case anybody spotted them in their position. “Just let me take care of it, okay?” She nodded a yes and with that, he took a quick peck on her lips and left, leaving her spiraling into another surprise. Only this time, she didn’t have a glass cup to drop.

Yunmi arrived a tad bit early at the musical theatre, but didn’t have to wait long and think about what musical Jaejoong has chosen to see, as he arrived holding two tickets up. Today, they didn’t even bother to wear face masks and such, today they wore like anybody would for a date.

“So what’s on today’s schedule?” She asked brightly and Jaejoong marveled at her appearance. She wore little make up and today her hair was a bit more wavy than the usual straight. It was freezing outside, so she had on a sophisticated trench coat that was up to her knees and judging by her black seductive stockings, she had worn a dress. Jaejoong smiled, for today, she had dolled up just for him.

“First, two tickets to the Gwanghwamun Sonata musical.” He waved them in the air. “And the rest is for you to find out soon.”  She playfully tsked at him and headed to the entrance.

Once inside, Yunmi had taken her coat off, which showed a cute yet simply elegant black dress that the sleeves puffed at her shoulders. They took their seats and quietly waited…which felt like forever, since the silence was killing both of them. The nervousness between was making them lose their mind, until out of the blue, Yunmi giggled.

“What?” Jaejoong asked.

“I just remember the time Junsu was complaining about you never attending his musical, and yet here we are and it’s not even his.”

He flushed. “It’s not my fault, I was busy.”

“Says the man who’s preparing for his next album.” Yunmi teased while he gave her a cute pout.

At that moment the lights had finally dimmed and they both turned their attention to the stage. During the whole event, neither of them were barely paying attention. They would give each other stolen glances and either smile or blush at being caught. Definitely dorks in love.

“Minjee.” Soojin called out to her, upon arriving on the balcony. Minjee jumped from the couch and clutched Ren to her chest. A snoring Junsu and Yoochun were lying on the ground after endless games with the child.

“Unnie.”

“Are you ready? It’s time.” Soojin sadly told her.

Minjee glanced at the front door. “Mommy told me to wait for them,” she turned back to Soojin and proudly smiled, “You know, they are on a date.”

Soojin returned the smile and patted her head. “Yes, you’ve done excellent.” Her smile faltered. “But now’s the time.”

Minjee turn one last time to the door and at her sleeping uncles. “What will happen when mommy and daddy come home and see that uncle Susu and Chunnie lost me?”

“Don’t worry; I’ll take care of it.”

With a sad frown, Minjee ran to her sleeping uncles and gave each one of them a peck.

“They’re waiting.”

“What next Mr. Kim?” Yunmi playfully asked.

“Shh.” He winked at her as she pouted. Jaejoong held her hand and led her through streets after streets, until a soft beat was heard. It became louder and louder ‘til it was no longer soft, it sounded like drums, large drums. She spotted traditional lanterns up ahead and a crowd of people that went with it.

“J-Jaejoong, we’ll be exposed.” Yunmi warned him when they reached the area, just one more step and they would have plunged into the crowd of swarming people.

“Wait here.” He told her, before jogging to a nearby stand and buying two Japanese masks. Jaejoong came back and handed her the mask, but she only stared at it.

“You want me to put on that?” She said in disbelief. “But it’s freaky looking.”

Jaejoong chuckled at her and put on his masks, which only made her laugh at this ridiculous man who’s nicely built body is ruined by a disturbing face feature. “Your turn.”

in all her courage, she, as well, covered her beauty. He grasped her hand and led them into the crowd.

“This is a Japanese type parade, its special today, just in Korea.” Jaejoong told her as his voice echoes through the mask. She nodded for him to see and he smiled, even if she couldn’t see it, she knew. He led her to a food stand and asked for a serving. Immediately a bowl came with some dry soybeans in there. Jaejoong expertly added some stuff in it and stirred it like a pro, all the while Yunmi stared at him. After he finished he raised the bowl to her and scooped chopstick full to her. Yunmi looked at it in disgust as it was all sticky and unappetizing. “Try it.”

“I’ll stick with what I know, thank you very much.”

He laughed at her. “Come on, just a taste. You’ll like it.”

She looked at him once more and slid her mask up just enough for her red plump lips to show. And carefully, ever so carefully, she took a sticky bite. Jaejoong watched her chew, swallowed, and react.

“So~?” He tempted.

“It’s…okay.”

“Have another.” He angled the bowl to her once again.

“Nope, not this time.” She raised her hand to stop him.

“Second time’s the charm.” He teased.

Biting her lips, she once again opened . “Ah~.”

“Remember to take anything that you have brought with you.” Soojin told her.

“Mm.” Minjee nodded and headed to her room. She opened the last drawer and took out the backpack that she first came with. She ped it to see that all the clothes that were there before was in place. Minjee swung the bag over her small back, held onto Ren, and headed out.

“Ready?”

“Yes.” She responded.

“One tiny problem, honey.” Soojin said in sympathy.

“What?” Minjee asked as if she didn’t already know.

Soojin slipped Ren out of her tiny arms. “This didn’t come with you before didn’t it?” Minjee shook her head no. “I’m sorry, but it’ll have to stay.”

“But—“ Tears welled up in her eyes.

“Minjee, remember, you’ll be reunited with everyone soon.” Soojin softly told her.

Clutching tightly to her dress, Minjee agreed.

“Okay,” Soojin settled Ren on the couch. “We’re all set to leave.” She reached her hand out to the younger one. Minjee inhaled in a deep breath, and took her hand.

They both came out of that parade all giddy as they laugh for no reason. “Can I ask for our next destination or you can just blindly lead me there?”

“How about you don’t go blind and look straight ahead.” Jaejoong gestured her to the building.

“Your coffee shop?” She playfully sounded not amused.

“Hey!”

“I’m kidding,” she waved him off and stepped forward to the front door. “Jae it’s closed.” She bluntly as she noticed the lights was off and the door’s locked.

“Wow you’re smart.” He as he jingled the keys in front of her face.

Yunmi scoffed as he unlocked the door and the lights. Warmth immediately embraced them when they stepped in and the aroma was just inviting. Jaejoong took her coat and pulled her a chair to the table that was obviously the only one decorated with a rose in the middle and candles. “Be right back.” He quickly said before vanishing into the kitchen. Yunmi heaved a sigh to calm her pounding heart and straightened her dress. Within 5 minutes, Jaejoong had reappeared  with two plates and set a delicious looking meal in front of her. Her eyebrow arched up at the plate and then back at him. “What?” He asked, confused.

“I don’t even get a chance to order yet?” Yunmi asked with attitude. His jaw dropped and that made her laughed. “I’m kidding, geez~.” She pushed him to his seat.

Jaejoong sat down in content and couldn’t help but smile at her jokes. He carefully took note of her elegantly pouring each of them the champagne that was prepared, and the way she curled a strand of hair behind her ear before taking a sip of the red wine.

Yunmi exhaled loudly and that made Jaejoong look up. “After shoving foreign food down my throat, you’ve finally given me a proper meal.”

Jaejoong smirked at her. “Oh, you so enjoyed that natto.”

She would bite back, but he was right. She did enjoy it, she enjoyed everything he had thrown at her so far and she was just glad. Glad that she loved this man.

“What?” Jaejoong asked as he wiped his lips with the napkin. Yunmi shook her head as if nothing. He suddenly cleared his throat and sat up taller, earning her attention. Jaejoong rose up both of his hands and clapped them twice. The music jolted her and more light shined next to them, showing a small orchestra. The orchestra surrounded them completely and it took Yunmi a minute to register the song that was being played. Her lullaby.

Her eyes began to water, not once had a man ever done this to her, it felt like it popped out of a drama. Jaejoong soften at her sudden sensitivity. He stabbed a piece of meat and raised it up to her. “I don’t think you would want to eat something salty coming out of your tears. So I’ll feed you, I did it before I’ll do it again.” Yunmi’s lips stay shut because if it were to open she was afraid she’ll start sobbing in happiness. So she just nodded like a crazy person.

After her tears dried up and they went on to talking and laughing again, they decided to retire home…to Minjee. “We’re back~.” Yunmi sang as soon as the door opened wide. But only emptiness welcomed her. “Minjee?” She called out and quickly check the bedroom.

“Yoochun, Junsu, we’re back.” Jaejoong said, but even s weren’t there.

“Jaejoong!” Yunmi ran back to him. “MInjee’s gone, I can’t find her.”

“Hold on, I’ll call Yoochun, maybe they took her somewhere.” Jaejoong popped his phone out as fast as he can.

It was too late though, fear had already enveloped both of them. Yunmi took slow steps to the couch and picked up Ren, who sat there perfectly…with no owner. “Jae,” her voice croaked. “I don’t think the guys have her with them.”

Lol noticed how i didn't describe Jae's outfit as much? Yeah, well i'll leave it to your imagination...our Jaejoongie always dresses nice anyway XD!! So how do you like it? :)) mistakes should be found everywhere (im sorry) for i am using my dad's laptop and i get agitated every time someone's behind me XD!! Therefore...no revision :((
