“Would someone mind telling me what’s wrong?” CEO Baek Chang Ju asked. Everyone involved in the scene was in the CEO’s office at the moment, with Jaejoong and Yunmi sitting in the two front chairs. “Who’s this kid?” He signaled to the little girl who said her name was Kim Minjee. Minjee was at the farther couch sitting and playing with the rest of the JYJ’s members, Yunmi’s stylist, Hyeso, and Song Jihyo.

“She claimed to be Jaejoong and Yunmi’s daughter.” Manager Taehyun said.

“Jaejoong,” Chang Ju eyed him. “Yunmi.” He eyed her next. “Is this some secret you two are hiding?”

“Secret!?!” Jaejoong asked in disbelief.

“Hiding!?!” Yunmi shrieked.

“Yes,” He took a breath before proceeding. “D-did you two have a kid together?”

And that did it. They both immediately stood up from their chairs and screamed out. “HELL NO!”

“With this girly man? I don’t think so, I’m not even sure if he even has one.” Yunmi laughed.

“And me with this ugly duckling? Not in my life time!” Jaejoong mocked back.

“And why would I sleep with a girl? I’m not a lesbian, I need a real man in my bed.” Yunmi strike back.

“Ha! Why would I want to impregnate you, I don’t want to mess my precious genes with yours.” Jaejoong scoffed. “No matter how drunk I may be, I don’t remember sleeping with a witch.”

“That’s because you only sleep with .”

“Really? Then you must be an exception.”

 “Guys!” The boss shouted and they both shut instantly.

“Oh~ scary.” Minjee’s tiny voice can be heard in the background.

“Stop it. This is getting nowhere.” He said while rubbing his temples. “It’s obvious that she resembles both of you so might as well come out with it now.”

“Chang Ju ssi, think about this. I have debuted for about 5 years now have you once seen me with a pregnant belly for 9 months?” Yunmi reasoned.

“Simple, you could’ve of had her before debut.” Jaejoong interrupted.

Yunmi threw him another glare. “Maybe it’s your child; I mean men don’t show signs after knocking a girl up. Or do you, Kim Jaejoong, have them yourself.”

 “What? Just because I’m a man and—“

“Sure!” Yunmi sarcastically coughed.

Jaejoong rolled his eyes and continued. “And doesn’t show sign of impregnating anyone doesn’t mean I did. You know me long enough that I’m not stupid to make such a mistake.”

Chang Ju agreed, but Yunmi didn’t. “What!?! What if he’s lying? You can’t be positively sure! What if he did have someone knocked up without knowing and now they have sent their daughter to him.”

“Hey! Don’t talk as if I go sleeping around with anyone!”

“Any , that’s what!”

“Not all s, I didn’t sleep with you.” Jaejoong smirked while Yunmi got fired up.

“So you do admit you sleep with s! See Mr. Chang Ju—“

“YAH!” Again Jaejoong and Yunmi shut right up. “It’s obvious that we don’t know the truth but the only explanation I really have is that this little girl is lost, and the two you looks closest to her parents. So for now on, we’ll keep a look out on any lost signs of Kim Minjee and in the mean time you two,” Chang Ju pointed at them both. “Can take care of her.”

“WHAT!?!” They both shouted while he just smiled.

“Yes, you will take care of her, she’ll be in your responsibilities, and no matter what, make her as comfortable as possible. We don’t want her getting freaked out about her missing parents. And who knows, maybe you two can learn something in the process.”

“Tch~ yeah right.” Yunmi muttered.

“Not even going to bother.” Jaejoong mumbled.

“I’ll cancel all your schedules today. Dismiss!” Chang Ju said and everyone got up to leave.

“What do have in here Minjee?” Jihyo asked the girl and opened her backpack. “Oh! A set of clothes?”

“Mhmm, mama packed it for me.” She answered in her bright tone.

Everyone turned to eye at Yunmi, while she just shrugged.

“For what?” Hyeso asked.

“I don’t know, mommy didn’t really spa-specify, what it was really for.” Minjee replied.

“Great, now we won’t have to buy clothes for you.” Jaejoong said, only to get whacked by everyone standing close to him.

“Can we go home now, I’m tired.” Minjee rubbed her eyes while tugging on Jaejoong’s pants.

“Uh, sure.” He replied lamely. Minjee stretched her arms up at Jae and he looked as confused as ever.

“Pick her up!” Yoochun nudged him.

“Oh!” He exclaimed in realization and awkwardly held her. Minjee tiredly laid her head on his broad shoulders and closed her eyes.

“Jaejoong for tonight, take her home.” Chang Ju said. “Maybe she’ll have to stay at your place for a while.”

“What?” Jaejoong whispered, not wanting to wake her up. “Why can’t it be at Yunmi’s apartment?”

“You both will go.” Chang Ju said hardly.

Another argument was going to start but Minjee suddenly opened her eyes and said. “Umma, you’re not coming?” She reached out her arm for Yunmi to take.

Everyone looked at Yunmi. “Ah yes.” She took Minjee’s hand and both Jaejoong and Yunmi went out.

The drive to Jaejoong’s apartment, was just plain awkward. For once, between these two it was silent. “Ahem,” Jaejoong cleared his throat. “Maybe, we can just take her to your house instead of mine.”

“Nice try, but no.” Yunmi smirked.

“Why? If you look at the situation, it’s actually very logical, she’s a girl, you’re a girl—“

“Don’t forget the fact that you’re also one.” Yunmi teased, but Jaejoong just glared at the road before them.

“I was serious.”

“So am I.”

“Yunmi! Can’t you just—“

“Mm~” Minjee mumbled in her sleep and the two adults stopped immediately.

“Whatever.” Jaejoong sighed.

Thirty minutes later, they had arrived at Jaejoong’s apartment complex. He opened the back door and unbuckled Minjee and carried her with ease this time. It was amazing how, in just a few minutes, carrying her felt so natural as if he had done it all the time.

They all entered Jaejoong’s home and Minjee rubbed her eyes, waking up. When she saw his home, her eyes instantly brighten up. “Wah~! We’re back to the old housie!” She pushed out of Jae’s grip, and he set her down. Minjee ran straight into the living room and grabbed a pillow, hugging it and plopping onto the couch.

“You know this place Minjee?” Yunmi carefully asked.

She nods cutely. “I don’t have much memory of it, but you told me that we moved out when I turned two, although it looks a little different from the pictures.” She said looking around.

“I-I said that?” Yunmi and Jaejoong share a look. “Oh, right. Your mommy said that.”

“Where’s my bedroom?” Minjee asked and looked around in confusion.

“I have a guest room, let’s just use that.” Jaejoong looked at Yunmi and she nodded in agreement. Whoa~ Kim Jaejoong and Lee Yunmi agreeing to something? That was new.

When Yunmi had bathed Minjee and changed her into her pajama that was in her backpack, and Jaejoong had cooked them dinner, they both finally tucked her in.

“No kisses tonight?” She questioned when they both headed out the door.

“Oh, um, okay.” Yunmi awkwardly said and kissed Minjee on the cheek while Jaejoong did the same.

Minjee closed eyes and drifted back to sleep. The idiots tipped toed out the room and quietly closed the door.

“Well, I guess I better go now.” Yunmi said.

“Y-yeah.” Jaejoong replied.

Never before had these two been so civil to one another. Kim Minjee, is surely doing some changes already.
