She will send your crops to wither away from the cold, leave the poor freezing in the snow, and make the crop become weak and diseased and freeze over the whole village if you dare take one step against her. To appease the ice princess, we send one woman from our village to calm down her anger every five years.’

Every woman has a chance to be drawn, including that of the village chief's. Although the possibility is very low an biased, there is still a chance.
