“YOU CAN’T DO THIS TO ME APPA!”

 

Donghae shouts at his father

 

“This is my life”

 

He stares at his father seriously

 

“I don’t want to end my relationship with Jessica”

 

Mr. Lee stares at his son

 

“You will marry Eunhyuk whether you like it or not”

 

Tears start forming in Donghae’s eyes

 

“But I love Jessica. She’s my girlfriend and the girl that I want to marry. Can’t you understand that?”

 

“We know that you love her, but you need to leave her”

 

“Appa”

 

Mr. Lee stands up

 

“Lee Donghae, you need to follow me. You will marry my best friend’s daughter. You will meet her next week, do you understand me?”

 

Donghae didn’t answer

 

“I’m asking you”

 

Donghae just nod at him and went outside

 

“Where are you going? I’m still talking to you!”

 

Mr. Lee follows his son outside. Donghae ignores him and went inside his car and drive it fast

 

 

 

 

Jessica stares at Donghae who start packing all his things

 

“Baby”

 

Donghae ignores her

 

“What are you doing?”

 

Donghae didn’t answer

 

“Is there something wrong?”

 

Jessica holds his arm to stop him

 

“Why are you packing your things?”

 

Donghae stares at her

 

“I need to tell you something”

 

Donghae sits on the bed. Jessica sits on his lap, wrapping her arms on his neck

 

“What is it?”

 

Donghae kissed her

 

“I love you”

 

Jessica smile

 

“I love you too”

 

Donghae brush his fingers on her face

 

“Baby, we need...”

 

He stares at her sadly

 

“We need to end our relationship”

 

Jessica smile

 

“You’re kidding right?”

 

She kissed him

 

“This is one of your jokes, right?”

 

Tears start forming in her eyes

 

“I’m sorry, but we really need to break up”

 

“I’m not playing with you”

 

“I’m serious”

 

Tears start falling from her eyes

 

“Don’t cry, please. I love you”

 

“But why are you going to leave me?”

 

Donghae holds her hands

 

“I need to do it for my family. Jessica, Appa wants me to marry his best friend’s daughter”

 

“How about me? Are you not going to fight for me?”

 

Donghae cupped her face

 

“Baby, I want to fight for you but if I do that, I’m going to be selfish”

 

Jessica slaps him

 

“How about me? Am I not important to you? You promise me that we’re going to marry each other, then why are you telling me this?”

 

“Please understand, my father needs me”

 

Jessica stands up

 

“Tell me, how do you want me to understand? It’s so painful for me. You’re leaving me because you need to follow your father’s rule to marry his best friend’s daughter. I thought you love me, but why?”

 

Donghae’s tears start forming in his eyes. He feels so hurt at that time. He doesn’t want to leave the girl that he loves most and it breaks his heart seeing her cry because of him

 

“Jessica”

 

Donghae stand up and hug her

 

“I’m sorry. I know that it’s hard for you, but it’s also hard for me. I don’t want to leave you because I love you so much and you know that. I want to marry, but I can’t. I know that you will never understand me, but I’m doing this for my family. Appa’s company is in danger and his best friend is the only one who can save it, that’s why I need to marry his daughter”

 

Jessica move away from him

 

“Go away, you don’t need to explain”

 

“Baby, please”

 

Jessica wipes her tears

 

“We don’t need to talk! You’re a coward! I hate you and don’t you ever show your face in front of me again”

 

“Jessica”

 

“Go away!”

 

Donghae grab all his things

 

“I love you and someday I’ll find courage to fight for our love. I’m sorry baby, but please always believe that I love you”

 

Donghae told her before leaving the condominium

“Good morning honey”

 

Eunhyuk greeted her husband with a smile on her face. She was about to give him a kiss, but Donghae moves away

 

“Where is Minho?”

 

“He already goes to school. His driver drops him”

 

Donghae nod

 

“Don’t forget that tomorrow is his family day”

 

Eunhyuk smile at him. Donghae just nod

 

“I’m going now”

 

“Where?”

 

Eunhyuk stare at him blankly

 

“I have schedules today”

 

“Honey, it’s my checkup and yo—“

 

Donghae raised his hand to stop her from talking

 

“I’m going now”

 

Eunhyuk wrap her hands on his arm

 

“Let’s have our breakfast first be—“

 

Donghae hold her arm tight

 

“Ouch! Honey, please you’re hurting me”

 

Donghae stares at her seriously

 

“Will you please stop talking? You’re irritating me”

 

Donghae tighten his grip

 

“I don’t even care if you will go to your doctor today for your checkup. I’m not your nanny and I don’t give a damn knowing about your condition. Just take care of the baby inside your womb, because if something bad happens to him, you will regret it. Get that?”

 

Tears start forming in Eunhyuk’s eyes

 

“One more thing, don’t ever bother me. Just mind your own business, if you don’t want to get hurt”

 

Donghae release his grip and went outside. Eunhyuk hold her arm as she feels the pain

 

“What’s wrong with him?”

 

Eunhyuk hold her tummy

 

“It’s so painful”

 

She sits on the sofa and grabs the telephone

 

“Yeoboseo”

 

“Minnie, are you busy?”

 

“No. I don’t have work today, why?”

 

Eunhyuk sigh

 

“Can you accompany me to my doctor today? Your brother has schedule”

 

“No problem. I’ll fetch you there Unnie”

 

“It’s ok, we can ask my driver to drive for us”

 

Sungmin pouts

 

“Unnie, just let me drive for you”

 

“But”

 

“If you won’t agree with my plan then I’m not going to accompany you”

 

Eunhyuk frown

 

“That’s so unfair”

 

Sungmin laugh

 

“Take it or leave it?”

 

Eunhyuk sigh

 

“Fine, I’ll take it”

 

“Wait for me”

 

“Arasso”

 

Eunhyuk hang up. She holds her tummy as the pain grows

 

“What’s happening to me? It’s really painful”

 

Eunhyuk close her eyes

 

“Baby, please hang on. You need to hang on, please”

 

 

 

 

 

The doctor stares at Eunhyuk nervously

 

“Mrs. Lee, you almost got a miscarriage”

 

Eunhyuk and Sungmin stares at her with wide eyes open

 

“I told you to be careful because you’re pregnancy is very risky this time”

 

She holds Eunhyuk’s hand

 

“You need to have a proper rest and avoid depression and stress”

 

“Is that the reason why my tummy is aching?”

 

The doctor nods at her

 

“Don’t be too emotional or else you’ll get stress out and depress at the same time. It’s not good for your condition, it’s good that you didn’t bleed or else we will really lose the baby”

 

Eunhyuk gulp nervously

 

“Is my baby safe?”

 

The doctor shook her head

 

“What do you mean by that?”

 

Tears start forming in Eunhyuk’s eyes. Sungmin hold her sister in law’s hand, comforting her

 

“Well, there’s a greater chance that you’ll have a miscarriage, that’s why I’m advising you to take extra care”

 

“Doctor, please do everything to keep my baby safe. I don’t want to lose him”

 

The doctor nods at her

 

“But you also need to help yourself. Avoid being too emotional and have enough rest. I’m requiring you to have a complete bed rest everyday”

 

“Arasso”

 

“Don’t forget to drink your vitamins”

 

Eunhyuk nod

 

“When is your available time?”

 

The doctor gets her planner

 

“We need to admit you in the hospital for a month”

 

“Why?”

 

“We need to observe you and your baby”

 

Eunhyuk stares at her nervously

 

“What for?”

 

Her doctor smiles at her

 

“Don’t worry Mrs. Lee. It’s for your own good. We want the baby to be safe, right?”

 

Eunhyuk nod

 

“Just for one month”

 

Eunhyuk nod again

 

“Tomorrow is my son’s family day”

 

“Ok, then let’s just admit you on Monday. Tomorrow is Saturday and you need to attend the family day of Minho, Sunday is your rest day then let’s do it on Monday”

 

“No problem”

 

Her doctor smiles

 

“Just don’t stress yourself tomorrow. Have enough rest today, so you can go tomorrow”

 

“Ok”

 

“I’ll call your husband to inform him”

 

Eunhyuk shook his head

 

“It’s ok. I’ll tell it to him later”

 

“Ok. I’ll see you on Monday. Have enough rest”

“What took you so long?”

 

Jessica pouts. Donghae smile and walk towards her

 

“Sorry baby. My irritating wife keeps on nagging early in the morning and I went at the agency because my manager talks to me about my new projects aside for our drama”

 

He gives her a sweet kiss on her lips. Donghae sits on the bed and pulls her closer to him

 

“Did you miss me?”

 

Jessica smile and sits on his lap

 

“So much”

 

Donghae kissed her

 

“How’s your wife?”

 

“She’s pregnant”

 

Jessica frown

 

“Why are you frowning?”

 

“You can’t leave her for good because she’s pregnant”

 

Donghae brush his nose from hers

 

“I’ll leave her soon”

 

“How soon?”

 

Donghae smile

 

“Just give me time and be patience”

 

Donghae wraps his arms around her waist

 

“You don’t need to worry because I love you”

 

Jessica raised her eyebrow

 

“Is that for real?”

 

Donghae smile at her. He lay her down on the bed with him on top of her

 

“I love you”

 

Jessica smile and kissed her

 

“Be careful not to impregnate me”

 

Jessica teases him

 

“If that happens then I’ll choose you over her”

 

Donghae smile and start kissing her neck

 

“Are you willing to carry my baby?”

 

Jessica holds his face

 

“Yes, but please not now”

 

She holds his lips

 

“You can have it your way, but don’t impregnate me”

 

Donghae just smile at her. He start kissing her while removing her clothes

 

 

 

 

Sungmin holds her sister in law’s hand

 

“You’re going to be fine Unnie”

 

Eunhyuk stares at her sadly

 

“I’m just worried”

 

Sungmin shook her head

 

“Don’t be. Remember what your doctor told you? Don’t be too emotional because you’ll get depressed and it’s bad for your condition. The baby will be fine and of course you”

 

Eunhyuk manage to smile

 

“Let’s just eat”

 

Sungmin nods happily and start eating

 

“Minnie”

 

She stares at Eunhyuk

 

“Can I ask something?”

 

She nods at her

 

“Do you know what’s happening with your brother? I mean is there something wrong or what?”

 

Sungmin stares at her blankly

 

“Because he starts acting cold towards me, he’s not like that before or maybe he’s just busy?”

 

Sungmin drink her lemonade before speaking

 

“Did you ask him already?”

 

Eunhyuk shook her head

 

“He’s getting short tempered lately”

 

“Menopause?”

 

Sungmin and Eunhyuk stare at each other before laughing

 

“What makes you think that way?”

 

Sungmin shook her head while laughing

 

“I don’t know”

 

Sungmin clear

 

“Well, maybe Oppa is just tired because of work that’s why he’s acting like that”

 

“You think so?”

 

Sungmin nod

 

“But if you want to be sure, just ask him. He’ll talk to you anyway”

 

“Maybe he’s really tired because he’s getting busier lately”

 

Sungmin pouts

 

“But he must not forget to take care of you and Minho”

 

Eunhyuk smile

 

“Don’t worry. He’s taking care of us”

 

Sungmin notice the bruise on her sister in law’s right arm

 

“Unnie”

 

“Hmmm”

 

Sungmin touch Eunhyuk’s arm carefully

 

“Ouch!”

 

“Sorry”

 

Eunhyuk rub her arm

 

“What happen?”

 

“It’s nothing. I accidentally slip at the room awhile ago. It’s good that Hae catch me before I land on the floor, but unfortunately I hit my arm on the table”

 

“Are you ok?”

 

Eunhyuk brush her fingers on Sungmin’s worried face

 

“I’m fine Minnie”

 

“Be careful next time”

 

Eunhyuk nods at her and flash a smile

 

“By the way, thanks for the company and sorry for bothering you”

 

Sungmin smiles brightly

 

“No problem Unnie. I can always accompany you if I’m not busy and it’s good to go out with you and have a girl’s day with you”

 

Eunhyuk smile

 

“Let’s fetch Minho”

 

“His driver can fetch him”

 

Sungmin frowns

 

“I want to fetch my nephew. Since I’m going to drop you home then let’s fetch him first”

 

“Are you not tired?”

 

Sungmin shook her head

 

“Please Unnie. I just want to see my handsome nephew”

 

“You’ll see him tomorrow”

 

“But still”

 

Eunhyuk pinch Sungmin’s cheek

 

“Fine, you always win”

 

“Thanks”

 

Eunhyuk smile at her and continue eating

 

 

 

 

Sungmin drops her sister in law and her nephew at their house. It was already seven in the evening. Minho falls asleep on the arms of his mother

 

“He’s sleeping peacefully”

 

Sungmin smile while staring at his face

 

“I bet he’s tired. He keeps on running at the mall and at the park”

 

Eunhyuk laugh softly

 

“Thanks for this day Minnie and for being Minho’s playmate”

 

Sungmin flash a bright smile

 

“It’s ok. I really enjoy this day”

 

She brush her fingers gently on her nephew’s gorgeous face

 

“He will have a playmate soon”

 

Eunhyuk nods at her

 

“I’ll see you tomorrow Unnie”

 

“Drive safely”

 

“Arasso”

 

Minho’s bodyguard carries him inside the house. Eunhyuk hug Sungmin before going inside. She went at her son’s bedroom and sit on his bed

 

“Umma”

 

Minho slowly opens his eyes

 

“Where is Appa?”

 

Eunhyuk lie down beside him and hug him tight

 

“Appa is still working. He will be home later”

 

Minho yawns

 

“He will go tomorrow right?”

 

Eunhyuk nod

 

“Aunt Minnie too?”

 

Eunhyuk nod

 

“We will all go at your family day”

 

Minho smiles and yawns again

 

“Go to sleep now”

 

Eunhyuk kissed his forehead

 

“I love you baby”

 

Minho smile and kissed his mother’s cheek

 

“I love you too”

 

He closes his eyes and continues sleeping while Eunhyuk sing him a lullaby

 

 

 

 

Eunhyuk was sitting at the living room waiting for her husband to arrive. She stares at the wall clock, it’s already eleven in the evening but Donghae is not yet home

 

“Where is he? His manager told me that he left early and he doesn’t have schedule today. He just went at the agency to talk to him”

 

Eunhyuk calls him but he’s not answering his phone

 

“Aish! He’s not even answering my calls”

 

Eunhyuk sigh and calls him again

 

“I’m here”

 

Donghae hang up and went inside the house

 

“Where have you been?”

 

“I told you th—“

 

“Your manager told me that you don’t have schedules today”

 

Donghae ignores her and went to their room. Eunhyuk follows him

 

“I’m asking you honey”

 

Donghae stares at her seriously

 

“It’s none of your business”

 

“I am your wife and it’s my ri—“

 

Donghae hold her chin tight

 

“Hyukkie, I’m tired! Don’t start it”

 

“What is wrong with you?”

 

Donghae push her away

 

“I TOLD YOU NOT TO START”

 

Donghae raised his voice. He pulls his wife and push her hard o n the wall

 

“Do I need to tell you everything?”

 

Eunhyuk didn’t answer. Her hands start trembling because she’s already afraid of her husband

 

“YAH! I’M ASKING YOU”

 

Eunhyuk avoid his serious glare. Donghae cupped her face, forcing her to look at him

 

“Honey, you’re hurting me”

 

“What did I tell you awhile ago?”

 

Donghae hold her chin tight

 

“I told you to stop irritating me! I hate people who keep on nagging”

 

“I’m sorry”

 

Tears start falling from her eyes

 

“I DIDN’T TELL YOU TO CRY”

 

Donghae slap her

 

“STOP CRYING!!!”

 

Donghae pulls her, holding her arm tight

 

“Honey, let go of me. It’s painful”

 

“Shut up! I’m sick and tired of you”

 

“Let go of me, please”

 

Donghae raised his fist and was about to hit her when Eunhyuk hold her tummy, feeling a sudden pain. Donghae let go of her. Eunhyuk sit on the floor, still holding her tummy. She’s crying hard, begging her husband to stop hurting her

 

“Hae, please stop. Don’t hurt me, please. I’m begging you”

 

Eunhyuk bite her lips as the pain grows

 

“Please, I’m sorry. I just want to know where you have been. I’m worried about you and...”

 

Eunhyuk didn’t have the chance to continue because her tummy is really aching badly. Donghae kneel in front of her and cupped her face. He stares at her seriously

 

“I’ll let you go for now for the sake of our baby”

 

He shoots her a deadly glare while holding her chin tight

 

“Don’t you ever meddle on my business or you’ll get more than that”

 

“Sorry”

 

“You’re just my wife, so you need to know where to place yourself. Do you understand me?”

 

Eunhyuk didn’t answer

 

“I’M ASKING YOU. DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?”

 

Eunhyuk nod

 

“YES OR NO”

 

“Ye..ye...yes”

 

Donghae smile

 

“Good”

 

He pats her cheek and went at the bathroom to have a warm shower
