Description

I took a look at the doctor's faces... and right at that moment, I knew they were gone. 

Sungmin and Jiyeon are brother/sisters. 

The just lost their beloved parents in a terrible accident, and now they only have each other. 

They stick together like glue, and are always there for each other when they ran into problems. 

To break down the story a bit, 
Sungmin and Jiyeon are typical siblings. They fight and argue, and they never want a part of each other. But after their parents pass away in a terrible accident, they learn to cherish each other.
