I should not be writing. I should not be writing, but you know what? I am. I have 3 other stories to update and exams, but this won't stop bugging me and Khuntoria is beautiful ok? And I really need to rid myself of some muse T.T But here, take this and know that I might not be-able to update this for a few days, but tell me what you think anyway ^^ To all my Minstal shippers, they shall be in here! PROLOGUE

“How you feeling now?”

I sighed as the concerned voice touched my ears and briefly shut my eyes, allowing the feeling of someone caring to sink in. I wearily reopened my eyes, only to be greeted by a gentle, tender stare filled with worry and despite myself and the painful clenching of my heart, I smiled.

“Much better,” I said simply as I flopped forward and onto the figure. He caught me easily and quickly nestled me onto his chest, my head immediately resting in the crook of his neck as though it belonged there.

“But then again, I always feel much better when I’m with you Nichkhuny~,” I teased as I turned my gaze upward to graze his handsome features.

“I hate that your name isn’t easily made into a nickname Song Victoria,” he enunciated and playfully narrowed his chocolaty eyes at me. I stuck my tongue out in response and he chuckled.

I giggled softly before sighing once again, but this time in content as I settled myself upon his chest. He wrapped his arms around my middle, careful not to be inappropriate, and rested his chin on top of my head.

Sometimes, I wished I could be like this with my boyfriend, well ex-boyfriend now. I’d never felt this safe and loved in another’s arms. I felt heat radiating from the body below me, but it was comforting rather than sensual.

I trusted Nichkhun.

We’d known each other for ten years now and we were easily best friends.

He’d always been there for me, since the age of nine, and we’d shared all our greatest moments and memories together.

People often wondered why we hadn’t become more than best friends.

And the answer was simple- “If it all falls to pieces then what? We’ll never be-able to have this bond again.”

“I don’t know how you always find the s,” Nichkhun’s voice broke my daydreaming and I blinked in order to focus myself once again. I titled my head up slightly, so that we could make eye contact.

I shivered, but blamed it on the chill in the air.

“I’m not sure either,” I pouted, “I know I’m only nineteen, but really, it shouldn’t be that hard to find someone who doesn’t just want me for my body you know?” I asked him in a somewhat rhetorical tone.

He shrugged his shoulders in response, “Well, then again, it’s not like I’ve found a keeper either. Girls these days… just… they’re all after the fact that I’m a trainee at JYP.”

I nodded in response. It was obvious Nichkhun was going to debut, he was way too talented not to, and every girl wanted to be the first to be in the spotlight with him when he did. But knowing them, they’d probably try to take it from him.

“I wish we could just know who our soulmates are, that way, when we see them it’ll just be easier,” I added and took to listening to the steady beating of his heart.

Nickhun hummed in approval before a simple and comfortable silence overtook us.

To me, the whole world could be collapsing outside, but right here, only Nichkhun and I mattered.

A few more minutes passed before I heard the Thai male clearing his throat against my ear.

“Hey Victoria…” he trailed, his tone taking on a nervous tinge. I frowned at this.

“Let’s make a deal?”

I sat up from his chest and turned to look directly at him, my eyes immediately finding his and my loose raven locks cascading down my shoulder.

“I’m listening.”

He cleared his throat again and averted his gaze from mine, “In five years time… we’ll both be 24 you know?” I nodded, agreeing to this, “So then how about… if neither of us has well, found our soulmate and we aren’t in a relationship…”

He paused and I felt the air thicken as he gulped.

“… Because I know how badly you want to be a mother before you turn 25…” I frowned at his mumbling, where was he going with this?

 Finally, he found the courage to meet my eyes.

“So, let’s have a kid together.”

My eyes widened as my mouth fell agape.

Really? I didn’t even realize that I’d said that out loud as shock began to numb my body.

He nodded, “It’s logical. By then… I should’ve already been an idol for a decent enough time and you’ll also have time to work. And we get along well, what would be wrong about having a child together?”

It all actually made perfect sense.

I would easily be-able to live and raise a child with Nichkhun, besides; it wasn’t as if he didn’t already have half of my wardrobe at his house and vice versa. And he was a good man and he’d be a good father. And I trusted him more than I ever would anyone.

I made up my mind.

“I’ll even marry you if you want,” he offered due to my silence, “The child will never not have a father.”

A soft smile curled my lips; his statement just strengthened my decision.

“It’s a deal.”
