Onew’s POV :

I looked around and caught sight of them just as they were walking out the window.

hmm...I would like to get some fresh air too.

I looked at my plate, which still had a few pieces of ebi tempura* and Teriyaki** that I had picked up from the buffet table. But, these are tasty. Maybe I’ll finish them first.

After ten minutes or so, I was finally done and decided to go outside to catch a little fresh air before coming back in and talking to some more guests here.

But, I didn’t go out the window that Jonghyun and Kibum went through. I decided to go to my nearest window on my left. As I walked out, I found myself on a landing which had long, broad steps that led down to the building grounds. There was a pebbled path right below me that seemed to go round the building. I felt a nice, cool breeze hit my face and felt happy for no reason.

Suddenly, I spotted Jonghyun and Kibum walking along the pebbled path towards me. Why are they walking so fast? I seemed to be asking the world incredulously. It’s not like they’re in a marathon run or something! Ah well, I’ll go over and walk along with them. I was halfway down the steps to call them and catch their attention when, out of the blue, I heard Kibum say something that I could have never imagined in a century.

“do you love me?” I barely caught Kibum’s whisper.
