Onew came running, trying to contact the number that called jonghyunnie’s phone. He dialed it and waited. Everyone was in panic and he tried to remain calm but he can’t. It rang and without a second it picked up.

“Where is she?”

“We are still in the Ambulance sir, going to the hospital”

“What hospital?”

“General hospital sir”

“Okay. Is she okay?”

“To tell you the truth sir, she’s gradually hit”

Onew couldn’t speak anymore. He’s heart is so weak when it comes to her. Now he’s imaging her bloody and struggling for her own life. Today was supposed to be a happy day, to be special yet this happened.

He accelerated his car while hitting the steering wheel, crying like he never cried before. His hands were shaky and cold. He didn’t care for the other vehicles and he just runs in his full speed.

“Damn!” he shouted inside the car

He reached the place and Annie was there inside the ambulance, getting ready to be transferred in the hospital bed. He runs and went nearer and holds her hand as they push her on the emergency room

“Baby, I’m here”

She opened her eyes lowly. He felt the grip in his hand as a response. She couldn’t speak because a mask of oxygen was placed in her

“Baby, hold on tight. Please fight for me”

Another grip on his hands

“Please don’t leave me baby, I don’t know what to do if you leave me like this”

Then a doctor stopped him

“Sir, this is a restricted area, you cant come inside”

“Please let me be with her”

“you cant. We promise to do everything”

“please.”

He begged on his knees trying to convince them

“Just let me be with her”

But it’s a hospital policy not to let anyone enter. They left Onew infront of the door in his knees, crying endlessly. All he can see is her on her bloody dress, her face covered with her own blood,her weak and as fragile as a glass. He constantly blames himself in everything

If only he didn’t let her ride that car

If only he paid attention to his worries earlier

If only he was there to protect her

But he didn’t. He wasn’t there.

Onew sat on the side chairs waiting for the doctor to come out. His hands on his knees. He’s still crying. Blood…All he sees is her blood…He suddenly thought that he can now restrain himself from drinking her blood.Now, all he feels is pain and ache that slowly breaking his own heart.

The four brothers came running

“Hyung~”

Taemin immediately hugged him

“How is Annie?”

Onew shook his head as he cries

“Oh my God”

“He’ll be fine hyung. Everything will be fine”

“Annie is strong. She can overcome this”

Onew bursts out his tears. As much as he doesn’t want to show his weakness, but he can’t do anything. Thinking that there might be a chance of losing her. That there might be a chance she’ll die.

“Hyung be strong for the both of you”

“I feel so worthless”

“You’re not hyung. Nobody knows this will happen”

“If only I-I was there”

“Hyung stop blaming yourself. Its nobody’s fault”

“Its all my fault”

He said as he covers his face in shames

The four hugged him tightly. Trying to be strong but even the four of them can’t hold their tears and they all cried.

Onew was spacing out. Not saying anything. Even a word

“Hyung are you hungry? We’ll buy chicken for you”

He didn’t even nod or shook his head.

They just looked at him and he weakly smiled then burst into tears once again. He remembers everything the both of them did. The way she kiss him and make him smile every time. The way she said I love you so sweetly.. All of those…All can be gone.

The four brothers went out…Then there came the doctor coming from the operating room

“Sir, are you her relative?”

“I’m his husband” he said as he wipes his tears

“She’s stable now but we can’t tell you she’s safe. She lost a lot of blood and her head was hit badly and so her ribs. She’s in room 104”

“Okay”

The runs and went immediately to the room. There he sees Annie, lying on the bed with tubes in her body, and Oxygen mask and a machine indicating her heartbeat and pulse. She looks so weak. He went closer and sat beside her and pats her head lightly.

“Baby, please wake up” his tears flow again

“Baby please wake up for me” He kissed her forehead

“Baby, be strong and wake up for me. Please be well. Don’t leave me like this I can’t handle that pain. I can let everything be lost but not you. Baby, you’re my life and without you I’ll be a man with a dead soul. My life would never be happy again. Please…Please wake up”

Tears are hitting her cheeks but still she’s unconscious. He never
