“Did you see L. Joe’s new hair today?”

“Yeah, it’s so cool!”

“I have to admit, it looks good, but what will–”

“What are we talking about?” Sanghee interrupted, joining her group of friends. Carefully inspecting their faces, she rolled her eyes. “Are you still talking about Byunghun’s hair?”

“…Maybe…”

“You guys are ridiculous,” she sighed. “Seriously, there are more important and interesting things to talk about than some guy’s hair.”

“But have you seen it?” Go Eun whined. “It’s blonde!”

 “How could I not see it?” Sanghee raised an eyebrow. “Blonde does stand out from a sea of black and brown, you know.”

“And it looks so good on him.” Gayeon sighed dreamily.

“But it’s blonde!” Go Eun repeated. “What’s the school going to say? It’s against school rules!”*

“Your point?” Sanghee scoffed. “Byunghun doesn’t care about school rules, much less ones about his hair colour.”

“You know me so well, I’m shocked.” Sanghee twisted around to face said boy, frowning slightly. “Hey, guys.”

“Hi, L. Joe!” Gayeon smiled prettily.

“Your hair looks nice, by the way,” Go Eun added brightly.

“No welcome for me, Sanghee?” Byunghun pouted. “And I thought we were friends. After all, you seemed to know so much about me.” He gave her a wink, a gesture she was now quite familiar with.

“Um, I don’t know much about you, but I do know that you’re a troublemaker,” Sanghee retorted. “And before you say anything about how that’s something about you, any idiot could tell you enjoy breaking school rules.”

“So would you be an idiot, then?”

“Piss off.”
