Rainbow“Byunghun, what did you do?” Sanghee stared, horrified, at his grey hair. Grey.
“I was going for something different, I guess,” he answered. “Does it look bad?”
“No… you pull it off quite well, actually,” Sanghee admitted. “But honestly, how many times have you dyed your hair? It was brown, and then it was blonde, and then pink. More pink. There was orange, and then you dyed it brown for the play. And there was a time when it was black.”
“I’m impressed.” Byunghun pressed a kiss to her forehead. “You actually remember all my hair colours?”
“Byunghun, it’s not funny.” Sanghee pulled away, a concerned frown on her face. “It’s not healthy for you to dye your hair this much – I know I’ve said it before as a joke, but I don’t want you bald before you’re thirty, you know.”
“Hey, calm down, Sanghee,” Byunghun said soothingly. “Besides, at least I stand out in a crowd.”
“I could find you easily in a crowd, Byunghun, but that’s not the point.”
“So what is the point?”
“The point is that all this hair dye could be dangerous for you, and I want you to stay safe and healthy, okay?” Sanghee explained. “It would be nice if you could stick to one colour and leave it that way.”
Byunghun defended himself. “Sanghee, I like having the freedom to do whatever I want with my hair, and I’ll do whatever I want with my hair. Besides, I’ve been dyeing my hair for ages and nothing bad has happened.”
“But–”
“Just leave it, Sanghee, okay?”
“Byunghun, I…I’m sorry,” Sanghee said quietly.
