Junsu and Yoochun finally arrived. The dinner is going well. Of course so min is unsually quiet.  She occasionally laugh, nod and talk

with them but mostly it’s the CNBLUE boys who’s doing the chatting part. So Min is relieved that yonghwa is such a conversation

person. Mr. and Mrs. Jung excuse themselves after chatting with the youngsters for a while. They are tired and went to their

room. They are now on the rooftop. So Min personally wanted to have a rooftop. Probably because it reminded her the house they

used to rent.

“so, Seo ssi, I heard that you’re a doctor. What’s your specialization?” yoochun towards seo. “I’m a pediatrician yoochun ssi.

Actually I’m jae min’s pedia.” Seo replied. “how long have you been together? You and yonghwa?” junsu follow up.  “we are

classmates in highschool, we all are” seo moved her arms over cnblue. “yonghwa and I started dating then.” Seo continued. “oh! And

you’re still together! Wow! That’s loooong!” junsu emphasize the “long” word. “sadly, we can’t go public yet” yonghwa uttered.

Yoochun and Junsu nod. “that’s the downside of being an idol, right jae joong hyung?” yoochun looked at jae joong who is busy playing

with his glass.

Jae joong POV

“that’s the downside of being an idol, right jae joong hyung?” yoochun wake my lost thoughts. “huh? What did you say?” I asked him,

did I hear it right? “aish! Yonghwa and seo here are in a serious relationship, but they can’t go public. I asked you that that’s the

downside on being an idol.” Yoochun repeated, saying every word like I’m a little kid. Everyone is looking at me. I glance at so min,

she’s still avoiding my stare. “yeah, I heard” I simply replied with a smirk. “aish! Why are we talking about this kind of stuff?” ji

eun said. The first time I heard her sounded pissed. “yeah, oh! Jae hyung, you’re going to our concert right?” minhyuk asked. “sure!

We have to.” I replied sounding a bit excited. “asa! Great! We prepared something for you!” jonghyun said. “excuse me, I’ll just

check on J—Minnie” So Min stands from where she is seated and went inside.

So Min POV

I walk inside and go straight the living room. jae min is still watching her cartoons. She looks so focused that made me chuckle. She

really looks like….. I slap myself inside. I shook my head and headed to the kitchen. I checked on the new batch of cookies I’m

baking. It’s already done. *ring ring* I pick up my phone and saw who is calling. “Oppa!” I blurted. “oy! Minah! Sorry I couldn’t come

tonight. My flight have been cancelled but I promise I’ll be there before the concert. Are the boys there?” “yes! They are in the

veranda. Want to talk to them?” “ah no, Is jae min still awake?” “yes, she’s so busy with the TV, you should have seen her

face.””the focused one?””yes!” I laughed.”minah, I have to go, see you in a few days. Love you!” “love you too” then the call ended. I

smiled widely. *cough* I looked where that cough came from.. “jae joong ssi?” I was surprised.

“uhm, is there any wine left? This one is a goner.” Jae joong said putting the empty wine bottle in the counter. So Min stood there

like she’s been petrified “so min ssi?”jae called her. So Min blinked to get herself together. “yeah, wait a sec.” so min went to the

top shelf and took out another bottle.”are you sure you still gonna drink? You all gonna drive right?” so min started a conversation.

“it’s just a wine. Besides I never get drunk. Remember?” jae replied unconsciously. So min just chuckle shyly. “ah right.” She

replied looking down. “nice to see you again so min ssi.” Jae blurted. So min stare at him in an instant.  “hyung! What took you so

long.. oh!... give me that, stay here for a while..” jungshin said patting jae’s shoulder. Then he went back to the veranda. So Min

glared at Jungshin.  “mommy!” jae min caught jae and so min’s attention. She is standing not to far from them.

“Mommy, I want some cookies” Jae min said while rubbing her eyes. “oh! Princess! Sure, mommy will just cool it off” so min was

about to to walk to jae min when jae joong walks to her first. “Come here. Sit with me” he lifts her and they seated on the island.

So Min is uncomfortable with their closeness. “so jae min ah, you like cookies?” Jae joong asked like they are the only people

there. “I love them! mommy makes the best cookies!” Jae min blurted animatedly throwing her hands up! So min can’t help but to

smile. “I know” he replied. So Min looked at him, no glared at him. “you know? Have you tasted it?” jae min asked looking at jae

joong curiously. “ahh.. yes.. earlier, your mommy made some earlier right?” jae joong replied. So Min sigh.

“mommy, I’ll it them there.” Jae min walks no skips to the living room. that gesture really makes so min giggle. “you really lucky to

have her. such an adorable kid.” Jae joong faced so min again. “ah yeah. I don’t regret having her. I don’t know what I will do with

out her” she replied all smiling. The thought of having Jae Min is the most wonderful thing that happened to her. She recalls what

she said and snap to reality. “ah.. how’s life now jae joong ssi? Planning for the comeback now?” she changed topic. Jae joong looks

at her puzzled. “ah, deh, gonna have a meeting with manager tomorrow for the schedule” he replied.  “hyung! Come here! You missed

a lot of shots!” minhyuk called and drag jae joong.

So Min POV

I decided to go to Jae Min. I sat on the couch, and when she saw me sitting she went to lay on my lap. Hearing her little giggle

relaxes me. This night has really been an emotion rollercoaster. I really can’t face him confidently. I will always be uncomfortable

to be with him. I sigh. “mommy?” jae min looked at me with questioning stare. “yes princess?” “why are you sad?” jae min asked. I

smiled to her. sure I can smile and laugh all night but I can’t lie to my daughter. She can feel it. “mommy is just tired princess” I

place my hand on her face and caress it lightly. She smiled at me. “I love you mommy!” she said and looked at the TV again. She

always do that. Telling I love you to me whenever she feels I’m sad.

Jae joong POV

“I left my phone in the kitchen. I’ll just get it” I told them and went back inside. I saw So Min sitting on the couch Jae min is on

her lap. We used to be like that. That sadden me. “mommy?” I heard jae min call so min. “yes princess?” “why are you sad?” jae min

asked again. I walk a bit closer to hear them clearly. “mommy is just tired princess” “I love you mommy” jae min said again. That

made me smile. Jae Min probably her energy booster. I walk towards the kitchen now. I took my phone and noticed her phone is

blinking. He pick it up. And saw a missed call ~Oppa <3~ is the registered caller. It must be the guy she’s talking to a while ago.

~Flashback~

I was about to asked so min for another bottle of wine. “Oppa!” So min blurted. “yes! They are in the veranda. Want to talk to

them?” “yes, she’s so busy with the TV, you should have seen her face”yes!” She laughed “love you too” then she ended the call,

she’s smiling widely.

~end of flashback~

I decided to give her the phone. I went to the living room,  “so min ssi…” I saw her cradling jae min who is sleeping. So min is

sleeping too. Seeing her like that again brought memories from 3 years back. her long lashes, her pointed nose, the hair dangling on

her sleeping face, and that lips. Then I looked at Jae min, she had the same long curly lashes, they have the same eyes actually. But

everything else belonged to someone else. Then I had this weird thought. Is she mine?
