So Min POV

After our intimate night,  Finally I give him myself. I have to. I want to. Jae left for rehearsals. That gives me time to prepare

my leave to. Body aching I manage to go to my house. I pack my bags. I really didn’t have much to pack actually. Mostly clothes only.

I decided to tell the land lady to keep the rooftop room locked for a while, while I’m gone. I decided to write a resignation letter.

I will give this to jinah eonnie ones JYJ flew to the states. For the past 5 months I barely sleep in my room. I went to jungshin’s

room. It’s actually half empty. Few clothes are still in the drawers. I decided to pack those too. He might want to see those when

he goes back.

“So Min dear, why all of a sudden you are leaving?” the land lady asked me when she’s locking up the rooftop room. “I found a job

somewhere ajuma. Near my parents, I’ve been sad to be far away from them, jungshin is on japan too.” I lie, why am I used to lying

now? “you got a point dear, but does your boyfriend knows? Don’t be mad at me but I’ve seen you have a special someone.” Ajuma

said with a faint smile. “yes. He knows.” Is all I can think of. Of course it’s a lie as well.

I went back to jae’s apartment. I want to make our last days together super special. Especially on his part. I will crush his heart.

Or not? I cooked him my special pasta dish. He is craving for it. “jiji-ah, I will miss you too buddy!” I held jiji on my arms. Jiji

brushed her fur on my chin. I look around the apartment. So many memories lingered here. For 5 months this apartment has been

our world. I can’t cry. I should not. I reminded myself. A few hours jae will be here. I can’t be looking devastated. I walk inside his

work station. I saw the scattered papers on his desk.

I decided to tidy things up. Placing everything in places he will find it easily. I remember my letter to him. I went to the living

area to collect the letter. I held it near my heart. I went inside the work station again. I looked around and saw the book shelves.

Jae often reads. I browse the titles of the book. Something captured my interest. An unkown author, “I will wait… Forever” I bit

my lips. I closed my eyes and sigh deeply. I got the book. Place my letter inside the pages and put it back. ~will he be able to see

this?~ just then I heard someone opened the door. “So Min?” he called. It’s jae I hurriedly went to his desk fake a sleep.

“So Min?” jae looked at his work station there he saw so min. sleeping. “tsk, cleaning again?” jae smirk. He bowed down to give so

min a kiss on the head. “uuuhhhmmm” so min murmured. “hey! You tired?” jae said to her kneeling on her side. “ when did you get

back?” so min said. Faking a hoarse voice. “just now. You tidy my desk again. You shouldn’t have” Jae said pulling her for a hug. “I’m

bored so I just clean the house. I packed your things too.” She said resting her chin on his shoulders not breaking the hug. “really?

You said we will pack it?” he said resting his chin on her shoulder as well. “I just pack it so we can spend more time. It’s gonna be a

long separation from tomorrow.” So min said trying to sound coolly. “yah! I told you not to use that kind of words on this tour. I

hate it.!” Jae stands up and darted out.

Jae Joong POV

Tsch! Negative words pissed me since last week. She always used those. “baby jae” so min called I didn’t look at her. She’s been

acting like we will not see each other again. “jae” so min back hug me now. “I’m sorry, huh?” so min looked at me her hug never

breaks. I sigh how can I stay made at her cute face. “aaiiisshh! I can’t get mad at you for long!” I said defeated and face her.

“don’t make me feel like we are be separating forever. It bugs me.” I told her holding her chin upward to face me. She nod. “come

on lets eat.” She said pulling me to the table.

“I can’t drop you at the airport tomorrow.” So min said. Jae looked at her, she’s lying on his lap. He sighed. This situation is bugging

him. He wants his girlfriend to be with him every second but she can’t, they can’t. this apartment is their world for the past 5

months. “I know.” He simply replied. “we can do anything tonight.” So min whispered to his ears. “ANYTHING?” jae asked. So Min

nod and giggled. That does it. Next thing jae is lifting so min up and moving to the room. They spend the night intimately. So Min

thinking this is all she can give her before she breaks his heart to bits. Jae on the other hand thinking this is the start on their

happily ever after.

In the morning jae woke up, so min is not on his side. “so min? so min?” he called. He hurriedly went outside. She’s not in the house.

He tried to call her. She left the phone on the side table on their room. For minutes jae paced back and forth on the living room.

The main door click jae’s head automatically look whose there. “jae? Why are you looking like that?” so min said with a questioning

stare. He rushed to her and hug her thightly causing her to cough. “jae, you’re choking me” so min uttered in between breathe. Jae

pulled away. “sorry, where have you been? I thought you left me.” Jae uttered so min smiled and walk towards the sink.

So Min POV

“sorry, where have you been? I thought you left me.” Jae uttered. I smiled and walk towards the sink. The smile fades. ~I will

jae… I will~ is starting to be a bit blocked. She clear it. “what makes you think of that?” I tried to sound cheerful.

“paranoid much Mr. Kim Jae Joong?” I faced him and smile widely. Seriously these smiles are hurting me. “I guess I am over

reacting” jae said ang chuckled. I smiled and turn to the sink again, don’t let me down tears. Just this one. Please. I closed my eyes

and inhale air as much I can inhale. “bet you’re hungry. I bought take out.” I looked at him again with a sweet smile. “good morning

by the way” I added.

After we ate, He went straight to shower. I sat on the couch, reminding myself to look strong. He can’t see pass through me now.

Just a couple of hours left. I could cry as much as I want later but not now. “lost in a trans babe?” he interrupted my thoughts.

“ahaha! Am I? maybe I’m just sleepy. Someone didn’t let me sleep.” I uttered and winked at him. He laughs. He launch himself on

the couch and lay his head on my lap. “what will I do without you for a month? No, 3 weeks?” he said making aegyo. “you can handle

yourself well Mr. Kim jae joong.” I . He groan. “babe, one more round before I go?” jae said. I sigh and roll my eyes.

“aigoo, my ert boyfriend. Okay! Lets go! 2 hours left!” “Asa!” he rejoiced and we went to his room.

Time for jae to leave. “see you in 3 weeks baby min. be ready!” jae said, winking. So min just nod. trying to hide the sadness again.

“I love you jae, don’t forget that.” So min hug jae, tears betray her now. “oh! Why are you crying? Don’t cry, it hurts me. Should I

just fake an injury and stay?” he said jokingly. ~yes~ “No! silly you! I’ll miss you soo much! I love you so much!” so min said in

between sob. “I love you more! I’ll miss you more! See you in 3 weeks okay? Don’t go smiling with other guys. Your smile is a guy

magnet!” He said after pulling away and pointed his index finger at her. She giggled. “arasso. Take care. Send my regards to

yoochun ssi and junsu ssi” so min said. “okay. Don’t forget to get jiji from noona okay? I’ll call you later.” Jae said and wave. Before

he turn so min pulled him into a passionate kiss. Her tears still falling like waterfalls. ~goodbye Kim Jae Joong~

Weeks passed by so quickly. “hyung? Why the long face?” junsu asked jae joong. “it’s been a week since I last talk to so min. I can’t

reach her phone.” Jaejoong replied. “didn’t she told you that she’s visiting her parents?” yoochun but in. “yeah, but why isn’t she

calling me back?” jaejoong said so pissed. “will you relax, we will be going home tomorrow! You’ll see her, tsk,” junsu said while

munching on his doughnut. “junsu is right hyung. Her parents live in the province right? Phone signals must be weak.” Yoochun looked

at junsu for approval. Junsu gave him thumbs up. “well, I’m over reacting again. Tomorrow we will be back. I’ll see her in a day or 2.

Yeah yeah…” jae said pacing back and forth in the hotel room.

Back in Seoul. JYJ has been escorted carefully by airport personnel.  So many fans gathered knowing their favorite trio will

return from the successful world tour. Once they are in the van, “ajussi, why So Min not with you?” junsu asked the driver well of

course jae ordered him. “uhmm, I don’t know either.” The driver simply replied. that gave jae an uneasy feeling. “yah hyung, she

must be still in vacation.” Yoochun whispered. Jae looked at the driver but he is focused on the road. Jae is the first one to be

drop off. He is still not feeling good about this. Something is not right. He went straight to his apartment. He saw the place is

spotless. He knows so min cleaned it. He release a smile. “maybe I’m just thinking too much.”  He said to himself.

“jiji ah! Appa is home.” He called but jiji is nowhere in. “oh! So min probably take jiji out”. He is about to enter the room when he

heard the main door click. He smiled and hurriedly went towards the main door. “so min ah! I thought…” he paused. “jae joong ah!

Welcome back dongsaeng.” “noona?” he said. “aish! What is that, you’ve gone for 3 weeks and its like you don’t want to see me!”

noona nagged. “it’s not that, I thought it’s so min.” jae walk towards his sister and kiss her forehead. “aigoo, your girlfriend left

jiji to me yesterday. She said to bring her here today since you are coming back” noona explain and handed jiji to the puzzled jae.

“jae joong ah! What’s wrong with you?” noona noticed his blank expression. “she is here yesterday? She’s not on vacation?” jae

asked pertaining to no one. “vacation? She said today is the start of her vacation. You hungry?” Noona said walking towards the

kitchen.

Jae Joong POV

Today? I thought, no she told me its last week. What’s happening here? “jae?” noona interrupted me. “ah ani, I’m not hungry.” I said

and went straight to my room. I opened the walk in closet. Her clothes are not here. What’s going on? My heart is beating fast

now. I can’t think instantly. Office? Rooftop room?  That’s the only thing that’s coming in. I hurriedly went outside. “noona, take

care of jiji for a while. Take her with you I have to go somewhere.” I ran to the parking lot and ride my car. So Min where are you?

I went first to the rooftop room. without a disguise I carefully went up there. The house looks empty. “so min ah, jung so min.” I

knock or should I said banging the door. “youngman, what are you doing.” An old lady asked me. I looked at her. She looked at me

carefully, “oh! I know you.” ~shoot, ajuma fan?~ I thought. “you are so min’s special friend. Am I right?” she continued. “yeah

ajuma.” I reply instantly. “aigoo son, she’s not there. She left that house 2 weeks ago. She said she moved near her work place, in

the province with her parents.”

“what?” the puzzle are almost in place now. “she didn’t tell you? She told me you knew. Aigoo, what is that kid thinking? Well nice

seeing you son. Hope you fix this with her.” ajuma left. “I hope so too ajuma.” I’m still pre occupied with her lies to ajuma when I

reached the agency.  “kim jae joong ssi, welcome back” the guard greeted me but I’m not in the mood for a chitchat. I saw Jinah

noona, I ran towards her. “jinah noona, can I talk to you in private.?” I asked her. her smile fades when she face me. “talk to you

later yoo su ssi. Remember to file the documents later okay?” she finished her talk with the 3^rd person.

“what’s happening?” I asked her. she probably know about so min and I. “jae joong ssi, what are you talking about?” she asked not

looking at me. “jinah noona I know you knew about me and so min. I can’t find her. in the rooftop house, in my house… where is she?”

I asked her almost pleading.  She finally looked at me. She let out a sigh. “she resigned.” Her reply. “why?” I really don’t get it. “I

don’t know too jae, I wanted to ask you the same question. Why is she eager to leave when I know you two are doing fine?” jinah

noona whispered. I step back. I sat on the chair available and place my hands on my face. Why did she do that? What’s the reason?

“jae, I’m sorry I can’t help you. Ji eun asked jungshin the other day he said he doesn’t know. She’s not even at their parents but I

know he knows.” Jinah noona’s last words and she left me on the empty room.
