“omma! I’ll be late! I’m going now! Hey Shin-ah! Aren’t you going with me?” So Min called out. “dal! Be sure to go

home early, appa is coming home!” omma said. “deh omma! I will!” so min replied. “noona! Wait for me!” shin-ah said.

“aigoo, you’re such a turtle! Palli!”so min said while gesturing a “come on over here fast”. They are inside the bus now.

“noona, look at those photos, JYJ are such well know idols now. I want to be in a band too” shin-ah said while resting

his head on his sisters shoulder. “aigoo, you should study hard and just focus on your future. Bands like that never

gonna be there always. Bands come and go you know” so min said. So min is really not into music really, she would

just sit in a library and read books rather to gush about new songs her classmates are talking about.

They are enrolled in this prestigious school in seoul. Their parents enrolled them here just to be feed up with

knowledge well know people have already absorbed. “noona! I’ll see you later okay? Library right?” shin- ah mocking

her sister’s weird social life. “deh! See you later!” so min replied sticking out her tongue. So min never had a normal

teenage life. For her studies are more important than to waste any of her time playing around. She is so mature for her

age. But there is one thing that she believes that can’t wait. Its love. She is a hopeless romantic girl ever since. She

believes that love come in unexpected time.

With that thought she remembered someone special in her past. She shook off the idea from her head. “I need to

focus” she said to herself. “yah! So min! wait up!” its lee ji eun, her classmate and one and only friend. Ji Eun and her

have some similarities that’s why they’ve clicked. Ji eun is younger that her, same age as her brother but she’ve been

accelerated when she was in high school. “going to the library again?” Ji Eun said smiling at So Min. “where else where

I’ll be Ji eun, also, It’s cold in the library, unlike outside.” So min said and winked at Ji Eun. They both laughed lightly.

They walk together towards the library when So Min phone rang. “oh? Its mine, chakaman ji eun, who could it be?” so

min said while getting her phone from her backpack.

So Min POV

“yoboseyo?” I asked with the unfamiliar number registering. “dal, its appa! You and Shin-ah should go home

immediately. Palli!” appa said and he got cut off. I felt tense. I tried to call shin-ah. “hello shin-ah! appa called he said we

need to go home right away. I think something happened. Where are you?” I panicky uttered. “oh noona, I’m at a book

store with some classmates, I’ll see you at home okay?” he said and hang up. “ji eun, miane, I have to go home right

away. I’ll call you later okay? Cover for me at our classes ‘kay?” I asked her she nod “arasso, palli! Go home!” she said

gesturing her hand. :kumawoyo ji euna!” I shouted while I run.

How come this traffic light isn’t being at my side now. I am waiting for a “you can cross” light. “finally!” I said in relief,

but then a car almost bumped in to me, I sat on the side walk shocked. The driver rolled down the passenger seat’s

window. “can you watch where you were going?” A guy wearing a sun glasses said to me. I can’t recognize him with the

distance we are having. My mouth fell open with what he said. “aish! Can’t you see the stop light?” I shouted still

sitting on the ground. The backseat window rolled down too. “I’m so sorry miss. We are in a hurry. Mianhe.” He said

and bowed lightly. Then he smiled at me. I was stunned he is a perfect gentleman. I bowed and then the car was out of

sight.  People around helped me up “are you okay miss?” concern people asked me.  “jinja kwenchana. Kumawoyo!” I

said to them and then I remember my agenda. I run towards the bus stop.

When I reached home I only saw our stuff outside, it’s not complete anymore. Then my eye searched for my parents.

“omma! Appa!” I called to them they both look at me, shin-ah is already there comforting our parents. I rushed to

them “what happen here?”I said confused. “its appa’s fault dal. I invested to a business an old friend offered me. But

then he just scammed me. All our money is gone and I borrowed money at a lender and he took our furniture as

payment this house too. We don’t have anything anymore aside from the house in ulsan” appa said. I felt pity on him.

He only wants to give us a comfortable life. “its not your fault appa.” I said as I embrace them.

We are now staying at this small room in a rooftop. Good thing omma got some money she kept. “omma and I are

going to ulsan tomorrow and start anew.  So min, used the money left for your tuition fees.” Appa said. “tuition? Appa

its not enough. I will stop school and will look for work. I want shin-ah to finish high school he should use the

remaining funds” I said firmly. “sorry So min appa is useless.” Appa said kneeling down again. “don’t do that appa. We

can do this. I will take good care of shin-ah. If I got a nice paying job I’ll send some to you” I said.
