The teams were now formed for the second round.

The MC declared that today would be a free day allowing the contestants to relax and roam around the resort.

Although, Minjeong wasn't one of those contestants who'd do that.

She wanted to use this opportunity to grind for some experience as the difficulty was getting harder. That brought her to the practice room, seated in the corner of the room while scrolling through the show's customized tablet.

Phones weren't still allowed, so this was the second option. The tablet allowed users to connect to the internet, but only Youtube was allowed, and other apps were locked. It was for rehearsal purposes, after all.

Minjeong was conscious of the cameras too, always. Compared to the last dormitories, the number of cameras has tripled. She'd bound to see one insight almost everywhere within the resort, making her carefully think about her actions cautiously.

She was about to pick a song to try and improve her dancing skills as she stood up until a figure appeared by the corridor and knocked on the door.

"Mindeonggiiee."

That voice came from Yeji, and Minjeong quickly whipped her head to look the latter's way. Yuna was next to her, and both were in their comfortable hoodies.

"Huh, what's up?"

Yeji noticed how sweaty Minjeong was and smiled in amusement, "Haven't you been practicing for too long?"

Yuna nodded her head, "Yeah yeah yeah! How about you take a rest and hang with us?"

In realization, Minjeong turned to look at the clock and it was already 9 a.m.

Because no one else gets to see her practicing this hard aside from Jimin, she felt slightly embarrassed and scratched her cheek inhabit.

"Come on, I know we're in the middle of a competition right now but it's fine to cool off from time to time, you know?"

Yuna said with a cheery voice which Yeji agreed with a subtle nod. There, Minjeong started to think about how she's been practicing for the past three hours.

She sighed at the thought and looked at the milestone window floating before her eyes. The milestones were getting bigger and bigger. It's a problem. Even though she practiced for three hours, she gained no points nor ranked up.

Maybe I should cool off...

Giving in, Minjeong huffed and gazed at the two girls with a sincere smile.

"Alright."

"Awesome!" Yuna pumped a fist, "Meet us by the pool, okay?"

As the girls waved their farewells, continuing with their footsteps. Minjeong approached the desk, turned off the speakers, and placed back the tablet.

Then grabbing her bag, she began to rummage through for a bottle of water but instantly stopped when her eyes landed on an unfamiliar bar of chocolate. It had a note stuck to it, and Minjeong pulled the bar out to read.

It was so unexpected that a wide smile forcefully escaped through her lips. Just when did Jimin manage to put a bar of chocolate into her bag? Minjeong couldn't help but think and recalled the moment the taller walked behind her back and mentioned that the zipper on her bag was open.

Jimin was the one who closed it.

Maybe that's when she slipped the bar into the bag...?

Quite in disbelief, Minjeong shoved the note into her bag and opened the bar to take a big bite.

Meeting with the team was a new and unique experience. Minjeong never thought the high rankers would be this goofy and playful as the show portrayed them as hard-working participants with small flaws.

Minjeong and her team were seated near the pool under a hut, playing charades as a way to get to know each other better. And it's working alright. By the looks of their actions, Minjeong was quick to determine their personalities.

Also thanks to the system's help, she was able to dig deeper into their personal information— briefly. Some would have ??? symbols to a specific question since her authority level was very low.

Most of them had hard-working qualities like how episode one portrayed them, it was expected. Due to her information gathering, Minjeong found out that Yizhuo was the calmest among them. That at least she was thankful for because there's finally someone to who she can relate.

Out of the four girls, Yizhuo was the only one she found interesting. A professional esports player shifting to the music industry? That's really interesting and dangerous on her part since she'd be risking everything she had.

Minjeong was curious and wanted to ask the girl a few things but because she wanted to limit forming bonds with anyone else, she didn't. However, when Yizhuo was the one who decided to talk to her, they ended up finding out a few things about each other and got closer.

They had things in common, from mostly spending their free time inside their apartments to being the best vocalists on the show. Unexpectedly, Minjeong was getting along with her just as fine as the others.
