Day 50: 4 February 2024

50 poems a day

Last poem, a finale in rhyme,
49 days flowed, marking our time.
Started with stumbles, words poorly spun,
Now with my all, this poem's begun.

Tears I caused, a regret profound,
Yet, cherish the good, let it resound.
Memories linger of us together,
A love once warm, now a fleeting tether.

Broke promises made, a solemn vow,
But in spirit, I'm with you now.
Arms open wide for your tears to fall,
A lingering echo of a heartfelt call.

May you find solace in a better embrace,
Someone new, or your own solo space.
Forgiveness, a bridge yet to cross,
In time, heal wounds, accept love's loss.

Farewell, my dear, though paths may part,
In the chambers of my heart, you're art.
Thank you for the warmth, the love untold,
A chapter ending, a tale retold.
