Day 15: 31 December 2023
50 poems a dayAs the clock ticks towards the year's farewell,
Surrounded by family, a joyous spell.
Yet, in the midst of laughter and cheer,
My thoughts are drawn, my love, to you, my dear.
Sparkling lights and a midnight kiss,
In this moment of joy, something amiss.
Though we're apart on this New Year's Eve,
Your presence in my heart, I truly believe.
As fireworks paint the sky so bright,
I feel your love, a guiding light.
In the warmth of family, love does bloom,
Yet, my heart carries you in the ballroom.
So here's to a year that's yet to unfold,
A story of love, precious and bold.
With you in my thoughts, across the miles,
Wishing you joy, as the New Year smiles.
