Jungwon was turned into a vampire during the 1900s thanks to Eunwoo turning him on his deathbed. He'd been dying from an illness when Eunwoo turned him. He has the ability to read minds. He is part of Eunwoo's family. He was the second person Eunwoo ever turned. Jungwon becomes obsessed with Miyoung after failing to read her mind. He is very removed from human norms so he fails to understand how to blend in. 
In this version, he is mostly the same but he does try to learn from his mistakes. Ultimately I kept the background fairly the same as Edward. I even tried to keep the personality the same. I may have changed how others view his behavior but... ultimately he is pretty much the same. Jungwon takes the role of Edward because the main descriptor for Edward was simply... looks young. Jungwon fits that pretty well

 

 

Name :: Jeon Jungkook
Species :: Werewolf
Role in Original Story :: Jacob Black
Jungkook is the werewolf who develops feelings for Miyoung. He comes from a family of shamans. This long line of shamans passes down a tale of their ancestors making a deal with a wolf spirit to protect the village from evil creatures. He himself doesn't believe these tales are real. Jungkook only cares about being Miyoung. His father keeps him from going to school by saying that it would ruin his shaman training if he went to school with everyone else. He does however give permission for Miyoung to bring friends to hang out at his family's private beach.
In this version, Jungkook is more friendly with a focus on keeping how he behaves in this book. He stays friendly and less... whatever you call how Edward behaves, a romantic second love interest option.

 

 

 

Name :: Do Hanse
Species :: Vampire
Role in Original Story :: Jasper Hale
Hanse pretends to be siblings with Dahee. He is in a relationship with Boyoung. Much like Boyoung and Jungwon, Hanse has an ability. He can control the emotions of others. Hanse is the newest member of the Cha family so he struggles with his blood thirst. Hanse however is too in love with Boyoung to leave the family so he does his best to blend into the group. He as well as Taeyeon are the only family members who specialize in various fighting styles. He does have a complex given that his one ability does not compare to his partner, Boyoung, or his brother of sorts Jungwon.
In this version, Hanse is the first of the family to call out Jungwon given his ability lies in emotion therefore he would have a greater insight into the emotional state of the entire family. It also allows him to use it as a sort of lie detector. Thus making him a far more interesting character in my opinion. Also I stand by him as someone told me to make him Jasper cause, "One emo boy for another."

 

Name :: Park Boyoung
Species :: Vampire
Role in Original Story :: Alice Cullen
Boyoung is in a relationship with Hanse. She is very bright and bubbly to his doom and gloom. She has the ability to see the decisions people make as they decide them. Aside from her partner, Boyoung is really close to Jungwon. Many believe it is because of their gifts being similar and Hanse insists it's just how Boyoung is. 
Her ability allowed her to see Miyoung's decision far, far in advance. She sets it upon herself to befriend Miyoung as her gifts tell her that she'll join their family soon. However, her gifts do not work on werewolves. No one has had a chance to sit down with one or more werewolves to test out why this is the way that it is.
In this version, Boyoung stays very much like Alice. The main difference much like the rest of the family is how she responds to the way Jungwon interacts with Miyoung. As well as the family dynamic... less everything is about Edward...

 

 

 

Name :: Shownu
Species :: Vampire
Role in Original Story :: Emmett Cullen
He is in a relationship with Daehee. Shownu is considered the muscle of the group aside from him being nothing like that. He is the absolute sweetest. He tries his best to keep the mood light and bearable since they have to be around each other for a while. Unlike the rest of his siblings, Shownu has no powers. He is just a normal vampire. Unlike the others, he did not have a tragic backstory. He just happened to get attacked by a wild animal. Daehee found him and took him to Eunwoo to help turn him. Both of them claim it was love at first sight.
In this version, Shownu tries to look after them in the brotherly, older brother role that he was given. He will work more with Eunwoo and Taeyeon to make decisions.

 

 

Name :: Do Daehee
Species :: Vampire
Role in Original Story :: Rosalie Hale
Dahee is in a relationship with Shownu. Just like Shownu, she has no power. Dahee absolutely hates that she was turned but she has grown to love her life with Shownu. The only thing she now hates now is that she can't be a mother. As a vampire, she is unable to give birth to children. She really wants to have a family with Shownu.
She does not want to watch Miyoung throw away her life. Dahee makes it her mission to make Miyoung hate the family so much that she never gets the chance to become a vampire. Miyoung represents the life she could have if Eunwoo had not turned her when he found her.
In this version, Dahee does not get the hate that she got in the book. I saw lots of it and I am doing my best to reduce that. I felt weird but I'm noticing lots of bicurious feelings happen around her existence so... as bi person... I'm keeping it.




 

Name :: Cha Eunwoo
Species :: Vampire
Role in Original Story :: Carlisle Cullen
Eunwoo is the reason any of the Cullen family are vampires. 
He himself became a vampire in the 1600s. Eunwoo followed his father who was a shaman in his village who hunted down evil creatures. He was not supposed to be there and his presence distracted his father just enough. Eunwoo however managed to shield his father thus being bitten himself. His father was unable to kill him, his precious son. He only banished him from the village, demanding that he only come back once the villagers have all died out. As Eunwoo fled he thought only of his compassionate father. The memory of him makes him not want to harm humans. He decides to feed on animals and become a doctor. His long life allowed him to better understand how to treat patients.
Taeyeon was the first person he ever turned into a vampire. Later it was Taeyeon who asked him to turn a dying Jungwon. This allowed them to have a family of sorts.
In this version, I changed the order Eunwoo changed people to make it far more romantic. 


 

Name :: Cha Taeyeon
Species :: Vampire
Role in Original Story :: Esme Cullen
She's married to Eunwoo. Taeyeon before Carlise turned her, had him as a doctor. Eunwoo was the doctor who treated her when she would hurt herself as a child. As she grew up and fell in love with someone else, married them. Eunwoo saw her even more after her marriage. She would always have similar injuries but new excuses for them. He never judged her. He only treated her wounds and acted as if she were the most delicate thing as he did soon. When she fell pregnant she tried to avoid being hit wanting nothing more than to bring the child into the world. It did not work out well. As soon as Eunwoo confirmed that the baby was no longer there Taeyeon made up her mind. She tried to end her life.
Eunwoo couldn't bear the thought of such a wonderful person no longer existing so he turned her. She found such happiness with him. It was her idea to turn more people, to build the family that she always dreamed of.
In my version, Taeyeon used her past as a reason to learn how to fight. This has her and Hanse as the two with the most fighting experience. It also makes her a perfect fit as the mama bear she is for her kids.

 

 

Name :: Kim Jaeduck
Species :: Human
Role in Original Story :: Charlie Swan
Jaeduck is the father of Miyoung. His ex-wife left him moving to America with their baby. She cited being gay as the reason. He lets her move in with him, eager to build a relationship with his daughter. He isn't used to connecting with people outside of this friend group or outside of work. He has to warm up to Miyoung. Jaeduck however seems to be rooted in more of a parent mindset as Miyoung grows comfortable with him. He doesn't like the amount of time Miyoung spends with Jungwon. Especially when she looks so uncomfortable with him and comfortable with Jungkook. 
Miyoung keeps her life as a biual from him. It takes someone else telling him for him to find out.
I tried to keep him as much like Charlie as I could. He's still a cop. He's still himself personality wise. I just tried to make him notice and interact with his child more. If that makes sense...

 

 

 

Name :: Jeon Jinyoung
Species :: Human
Role in Original Story :: Billy Black
Jinyoung is Jungkook's father. He is a widower and bound to a wheelchair. As the elder of the shaman line, he tries to make sure that Jungkook knows everything he needs to know. However, he himself could never be a werewolf. That is why he does his best to try to help Jungkook fill his role perfectly. If he is able to fill his role then Jinyoung thinks that he has done his job as his father well.

 

 

 

 

 

Name :: Lee Yongbok (Felix)
Species :: Human
Role in Original Story :: Eric Yorkie
He is one of a trio of human guys interested in Miyoung. He is the only one she admits that she would actually try with if she wasn't invested in Jungkook or Jungwon. Several times she tries to match him with Ari but the two are nothing more than friends. That is not because Yongbok wasn't interested. Ari is not interested. He tends to spend a fair amount of time with Chan or Changbin. It leads to some meaner characters trying to label him as gay. Ari does spend more time with him after that starts. Soon after that is forgotten.

 

 

 

 

 

Name :: Bang Chan
Species :: Human
Role in Original Story :: Tyler Crowley
Chan nearly ran over Miyoung. He spends months afterward trying to apologize and make it up to her. He even tries to take her on a date as if that would make things better. Jungwon tells him off for her. Ultimately it makes Chan worried for Miyoung instead of making him swear off of her. He does however grow close with Dambi who is a bully of sorts to Miyoung. Dambi gets jealous that Miyoung gathered attention from Chan after the car crash.

 

 

 

 

 

Name :: Seo Changbin
Species :: Human
Role in Original Story :: Mike Newton
Changbin is the first guy to express interest in Miyoung. He tends to go about it all wrong. Jimin expresses a clear interest in him despite him acting as if he didn't know. He spends most of his time talking to Yongbok or trying to date Miyoung. It's why most believe him to be gay. Not that they would say so out loud. Changbin tries very hard with Jimin but it is shown later that he prefers Yongbok.


 

Name :: Kim Taehyung
Species :: Vampire
Role in Original Story :: James
Taehyung is known for his amazing skills at tracking his prey which can be human or other vampires. He doesn't care and simply wants a challenge. When he spots Miyoung he determines her to be the perfect test of skill given the werewolves AS WELL AS vampires around her to protect her. Siyeon is his lover.

 

 

Name :: Lee Siyeon
Species :: Vampire
Role in Original Story :: Victoria
Her role in this story is quite simple. She's the lover of Taehyung. She helps him with every single hunt he goes on. Her ultimate goal in life is just to live free with Taehyung and drink lots of blood. Siyeon sees nothing wrong with her lover's behavior. She only sees her handsome mate.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Name :: Kim Seokjin
Species :: Vampire
Role in Original Story :: Laurent
He travels with Siyeon and Taehyung but he doesn't support them going after Miyoung. He drinks human blood. However the idea of going after such a powerful enemy makes him run to warn Eunwoo. This gives them enough time to try to prepare to protect Miyoung. Seokjin does his best to leave the area to protect himself after warning them.

I own none of what you're about to read. This is my project. Hwanghon came to be after I wondered what would happen if you did twilight but... kpop. As I wrote this story I am reading Twilight for the first time. You may not believe me or you might but I am reading Twilight as I make these chapters. Changes between my story and Twilight is because I did not support what was there so I tweaked it to make it better in MY mind. If you don't like it then that's fine.
