*Taeyeon’s office

Taeyeon’s POV

"These are the documents." Sooyoung puts the file on my table and take a seat in front of me. After finishing my degree, my dad assigned me as the vice president of his company. And I appoint Sooyoung as my secretary.

“I think she’s going back to Korea.” Sooyoung speaks, breaking the silence. My eyes still on the documents that need to be signed.

“Who?” I ask.

“Tiffany.” She tells me. Eyes on her phone.

I flinch at the name. “How did you know?”

“I saw her Instagram story.”

“Oh.” It’s been a long time since I’ve checked her social media. Although I still follow her Instagram, but sometimes I choose to ignore her updates. I guess I’ve completely moved on from her. I hope so.

“And she and her girlfriend will be throwing a party next week.”

She clears . “She invites us.”

“I won’t go.”

“Taeyeon.”

“Let me think about it later. I need to get ready for the meeting now.” I get up from my seat. I don’t want this conversation about my ex-girlfriend disturbing my focus.

Sooyoung’s POV

I sigh as I see Taeyeon close the door. She has been urging herself to move on since the day she found out Tiffany had a new girlfriend. And I know meeting Tiffany will hurt Taeyeon. Then, I decided to text Hyoyeon.

Hyoyeon

Hey, are you coming to Tiffany’s party?

Yeah, ofc. Why?

Is this because of Taeyeon?

Yeah.

Try convincing her. We haven't seen each other in a

long time.

“I’ll go.” Taeyeon said. I raise my eyebrows. “Seriously?”

“I don’t want to repeat myself.”

“Okay. Cool!” I quickly reply before she changes her mind. “When are you going to start dating someone?” She chuckles at my sudden question.

“You’re the one who need to date someone. Don’t you feel bored hanging out with me every day?” She snorts and then sips her juice. She’s not answering my question.

“Hey, you’ll miss me when I’m in a relationship.” I roll my eyes at her.

“Huh you wish.”

“You’ll be fine, right?” I ask her, changing the subject.

“At the party.”

“Don’t worry. I’ve completely moved on.”
