3rd person's POV

At the Press Conference~

Everyone in the hall is eagerly waiting for the Choi family to come out on stage. Only the Choi grandchildren are present for the press conference since the chairman's daughters are still abroad. They arrived all wearing elegant outfits that snatch the people's attention away.

The camera flashes started going crazy after the Chois appeared on stage. After posing for the cameras, they all sat down for an interview. Reporters then started throwing questions at the cousins.

Jessica grabbed the mic and spoke

"We will only take one question at a time"

All the reporters were a bit stunned because of Jessica's coldness

"The gentlemen right there please" she then continued while pointing on a reporter

The male reporter stand and asked a question

"When did Jaehyun-ssi return to Korea?" the male reporter asked

"I just graduated from a university abroad and just arrived this morning" Jaehyun calmly answered

"Since you just graduated from an Ivy League school, are you interested in taking over the company, Jaehyun-ssi?" another reporter asked

All eyes on the hall are now staring at Jaehyun

Jaehyun smiled and answered

"Aniyo, I don't have any interest in taking over my haraboji's company. I didn't return just to take over the company when I heard grandpa is in a coma. I came back after graduating because I want to pursue singing and acting here in my home country"

The reporters nodded and replied

"We hope you will succeed in everything that you do, Jaehyun-ssi"

"Gamsahamnida" Jaehyun bowed

"Next question please," Jaejoong said

Different kinds of questions are asked to the cousins. But Jessica is deep in thoughts while the others are answering.

Flashback*

[The day before the press conference]

Jessica is in her office signing tons of documents again. But after checking the other documents, Jessica found a strange piece of paper with red writings on it.

She picked up the paper with blood written on it saying

"See you at the Press Conference tomorrow. I'll be watching over you"

Jessica is frightened by the letters she's getting from a stranger or should we say, one of her family?

Back to the Press Conference*

After asking a lot of questions they finally asked the final one. Something that made all the people in the hall and the ones who are watching it live to anticipate their answer.

"What is the purpose of this Press Conference," one reporter asked

Siwon grabbed the mic and answered the question

"The purpose of this event today is that we're announcing the second and next CEO for the company soon. We already discussed earlier that if grandpa won't wake up in a month, we will announce that we will be appointing a new CEO soon"

"Then does that mean chairman Choi hasn't wake up yet?" a female reporter asked

"Ne. Please look forward to the updates soon." Siwon replied

"That's all for the interview today. You all can go home now" Jiyong announced

The cousins stand up and all bowed to the press.

 

Meanwhile, at the limo, they're riding

"Woah, they're now going crazy about the revelation," Ella said while swiping through her iPad

"I hope haraboji will wake up soon" Jiyong stated

After a while, they finally arrived back in the mansion.

 

Later, at the mansion

The cousins are having a talk about the company for a while now. Only Jessica, Krystal, Chenle, and Ella are here because the others already left for their schedules. Just then, Krystal spoke

"Yorobun, I will not be here for 3 months"

"Huh? Where are you going for that long unnie?" Ella asked

"I'm filming a drama in the mountains in the province. But don't worry, I will still visit you guys and haraboji if I can have a day off" Krystal assured

"What province?" Jessica asked

"Suncheon" Krystal replied

Jessica nodded

"You already did script reading?" Jessica inquired

"Yes, we did it last week."

"Then when are you leaving, noona?" Chenle interrogate

"Tomorrow. I already packed" Krystal responded

"Take care of yourself there, there are many mosquitos there," Jessica instructed

"My character is a soldier so I'm always wearing an outfit that will cover my skin, unnie"

"I'm talking about your outfit while on break, Soojung-ah" Jessica replied

"Then do you want us to take you there tomorrow?" Jessica continued

"Sure" Krystal responded

"Then I should call them to ask who will be free tomorrow," Jessica said

"Chenle, Ella, you guys free tomorrow?" Jessica asked the two before making a call to the others

"Mianhe, noona. Our comeback is near so I have practice tomorrow"

"Ella?" Jessica glanced at Ella

"Yes, I'm free tomorrow"

Aigoo, Ella is still young but already very busy with her modeling career. Jessica thought.

Jessica grabbed her phone and call the others to ask. After calling them, Jessica said that only Siwon and Jaehyun are free tomorrow. So only the 4 of them will take Krystal to the filming site.

"By the way unnie, where's Jaehyunie?" Krystal asked

"He said he is taking a walk at a park. He must've missed Korea so much that he eventually leave after the press conference" Jessica replied

All of them nodded and ended their day there.

 

Next day

"SOOJUNG-AH, COME DOWN NOW!!" a scream is heard around the mansion

"JAMKKANMAN, UNNIE. I'M ALMOST DONE" Krystal replied screaming back at her older sister

After minutes of waiting, Krystal finally came down.

"I'm here now, Jessica-ssi" Krystal said as she dragged her luggage

"What took you so long?" Jessica asked

"Nothing. I just woke up a little late" Krystal replied

"Let's go, guys, I already prepared the car" Siwon yelled from outside

All of them entered their car and Ella's stomach immediately grumbled

"Oppa, why did we not eat breakfast?" Ella asked while her stomach

"Let's just eat breakfast on the way there" Siwon responded

After an hour of driving, they exit the car to eat at a restaurant.

"Noona, why are you always using your phone since yesterday" Jaehyun questioned Krystal

"Oh? Oh...you guys know Jongin right?"

"The one who's courting you?" Siwon asked

"Yes him"

"What about him?"

"We're dating now" Krystal suddenly announced

"Really? I think just yesterday, he's still courting you. And you're telling me you two are dating now? Since when?" Jessica asked 3 questions in a row

"Since yesterday" Krystal responded

"You had time yesterday? I mean, we're busy all day yesterday"

"He visited me while I'm preparing for the press conference. And I told him to stop courting me"

"He didn't understand at first but I explained what's the meaning of what I said to him after I saw his worried and confused face. And he finally understood" she added

Ella's mouth turned 'o' after Krystal said that

"Chukahae, unnie/noona" Ella and Jaehyun congratulated Krystal

"Chukahae, Soojung-ah" Jessica said

"Aigoo, our youngest sister already has a boyfriend. Chukahae." Siwon stated

"Kumawo, yorobun. I'm glad you guys support me." Krystal thanked them

After talking, they returned to the car and drove 2 hours and 20 minutes more. They finally bid goodbye to Krystal after greeting the staffs and Krystal's co-actors. Then drove back to Seoul. They dropped Jessica off at her apartment while Siwon, Jaehyun, and Ella returned to the mansion.
