Concealed Truths
[Changkyun's POV]
I heard a commotion outside with car doors opening and closing, and people talking and paused what I was doing to look outside. I stood by my window as I watched suitcases being placed into the boot of my parent's car and my parents stood outside with Chaewon and Chaehwa. "They must be going on a business trip" I mumbled to myself as I wandered towards the door of my room to meet them outside. At least once or twice every month our parents went on a business trip, sometimes it was a different city or sometimes it was a different country, but that left me and my sisters to do what ever we wanted to do while they were gone.
"Look after your brother ok? We'll be gone all weekend and back on Monday evening." I heard my mother say as I approached everyone outside and she looked at me with a smile. I smiled back to her as I watched my sisters both nod to her, I already knew that wouldn't happen, it never happened, and I didn't need them to look after me. Our parents' business trips were always a chance for my sisters to do whatever they wanted, whether that was partying, meeting guys or staying out late. They would do them all and take their chances.
"You'll be able to come soon too Changkyun, I promise" My mother told me as she patted my cheeks and I smiled to her. I never understood why I couldn't start coming with them, I was old enough and I had to learn about taking over the family business sooner than later.
"Have a nice time" I told them as my mother nodded and my father simply gave me a small nod with an emotionless face. Our father never showed much emotions unlike our mother but that's just how he had always been.
After my parents' car disappeared out of the courtyard and the front gates closed, I followed my sisters back inside as they both ran in and straight up the stairs, "did you pack already?!" Chaehwa called out to Chaewon in a rush as they both ran down the upstairs corridor.
"Give me five minutes!" Chaewon shouted back to her as they both disappeared into their rooms. I rolled my eyes as I wandered up the stairs, back towards my room and could hear them both rummaging around their rooms, packing their bags in a rush. They couldn't even wait for five seconds before they were going out.
I laid on my bed as I heard multiple footsteps and suddenly my door flung open, "haven't you heard of knocking?" I huffed as I sat up to find my sisters stood in the doorway of my room.
"You know the drill little brother. We'll be back on Monday morning before they get back, if you hear something, message us and we'll come back earlier." Chaewon told me as I rolled my eyes and nodded to her.
"Don't get too bored." Chaehwa joked as they both laughed.
"Shut my d-" I began as they both disappeared and ran down the stairs. I sighed as I stood up to shut my door but paused. The house was now completely silent. No parents, no sisters, no maids. My parents often allowed all the maids to have a break if they went on business trips over the weekend. As long as the maids were back on Monday morning and did all the things they needed to do to get the house ready for my parents returning, they could leave the house and they didn't have to do any housework or chores, even Mrs Lee sometimes left and had a weekend break. Would Kyungah leave and go somewhere too? But where would she go?
[Kyungah's POV]
I continued hanging some clothes out on the washing line in the garden behind the house as I noticed Chaewon and Chaehwa dashing out of the back door towards the back entrance. I paused and frowned as I watched them, they each had a small suitcase in their hands and their outfits had already changed since this morning. They were definitely going to a party or somewhere since their parents had now gone on a business trip. I had learnt from Changkyun there was a small gate at the back of the garden which himself and his sisters often used to go in and out of the house undetected from the cameras. If you walked along the edge of the garden and towards the back, it was a blind spot from the cameras in the garden. I had never tried it before, but it was an escape I could also use if I needed to.
As I reached out to the washing basket for another item of clothing, I was handed one which made me frown. I looked up to find Changkyun with the other end of the tshirt in his hand, "you're welcome" He scoffed with a smirk as I pulled it away from him gently.
"Aren't you going with your sisters?" I asked him.
"Aren't you going with your aunt?" He replied back which made us both chuckle together. Changkyun ended up passing me every item that was still left in the washing basket and I put them up onto
