Concealed Truths
[Kyungah's POV]
"Your brother?!" Changkyun shouted out confused as he locked eye contact with the Kihyun. They began glaring at each other as I dropped my head and sighed. Changkyun was definitely confused and probably frustrated, I had never spoken about Kihyun to Changkyun, and he was probably wondering why I wasn't living with him and why I was living with my aunt.
"Changkyun, I can expl-" I began as he turned around, without even looking at me and disappeared into the dancing crowd of people. I heard Kihyun sigh as he took my hand and pulled me along with him into the corridor behind the stage.
"Oh Kyungah?! What are you doing here?!" Hyunwoo and Minhyuk called out with shock all over their faces as Kihyun led me into a dressing room. He sighed loudly and folded his arms. He was mad. He was so mad. Was he mad?
"Uh. I'll just go check the sound..." Hyunwoo said awkwardly.
"Uh. I'll go help him..." Minhyuk stuttered as they both escaped the awkward tension.
I watched as Kihyun paced the floor before stopping and leaning against a wall. "Where do I even begin." Kihyun mumbled to himself as he looked straight at me. I stayed silent as I stood completely still before looking down at the floor. I was in trouble, deep trouble. "What are you doing here?" He asked me in a stern voice as I gulped.
"I came here with some friends..." I stuttered back to him. But wait, why am I in trouble? I'm old enough to come to a club, I'm old enough to drink alcohol. Kihyun was the one that was supposed to be 'hiding'.
"I thought you were lying low, are you performing?" I asked him back as he glared at me for asking a question.
"I am lying low, it's an underground club Kyungah so it's fine for me to come here." Kihyun sighed to me as his facial expression went back to normal and he stopped being mad at me. "Go home ok?" He suggested to me as I shook my head.
"I can't go home can I?" I scoffed as he simply replied with a sigh again. "Have you found anything new?" I asked him as he shook his head.
"I haven't found anything but I think they're in Japan, I just need to find some evidence or some trace of them." He told me as my eyes lit up. "Don't get excited, it's just a hint. I don't know if it's true or not."
I grumbled as I rolled my eyes and walked towards the door, "Fine. I'm going home." I simply told him as he didn't try to argue back or say anything else. I opened the door as I heard footsteps behind me and Kihyun held onto the door for me.
"I'll come and get you soon, I promise." He said in a gentle tone but I didn't believe him. Time had already passed since I came back and everything happened, but nothing else had happened so far, we were still no closer to finding out what had happened, who had caused it or finding our parents.
[3rd Person POV]
"Oh isn't that Kyungah?!" Jooheon called out as he pointed towards her, she was on the dance floor below pushing her way through the dancing crowd of people as fast as she could to get out. Hyungwon and Jooheon looked behind them at Changkyun who was slumped back in a chair in the booth with his arms folded, his face was emotionless and he seemed to be in a daze.
"Aren't you going to go after her?" Hyungwon asked Changkyun who quickly glanced up at him before looking away again. "Come on Changkyun, it's like 1am. Don't you have some feelings?" Hyungwon grumbled. Changkyun sighed deeply as he leant his head back and closed his eyes, blankly ignoring Hyungwon.
Hyungwon sighed and shook his head in disbelief, "all night you've helped her, defended her, made her feel more comfortable. What's wrong with you." He grumbled again as Changkyun didn't even move an inch, "Fine. I'll go then."
Changkyun watched as Hyungwon grabbed his jacket and quickly disappeared into the distance to go after Kyungah. Changkyun sighed again as he opened his eyes and found Jo
