Today is the first morning for Taeyeon without Jessica wake beside her. She unconsciously reaches beside when she finds nothing. She’s alone for this morning

A gloom mood is lingering, Taeyeon never realized that her morning would be this empty without Jessica around. Jessica will turn the TV on, let the forecarster did their job or maybe listening to the newsanchors who talking continuously

Even though, Jessica would say morning or do you like the coffee? Albeit Taeyeon’s answer would be just nod or simple hums

Taeyeon walks to the frigde and read some of Jessica’s notes. She decided to brews her own coffee and make a toast

When Taeyeon finished her breakfast, she thought that it’s not even tasty as Jessica’s, not even near, she takes her bag, checks some of her stuffs and also, examines her coat. Spring is coming and the weather still chill outside

“This is for the best” Taeyeon whispered to herself

The commute to her workplace is remain usual, nothing change in the two days, of course. It’s only Taeyeon and Jessica who changed, maybe the universe remains same

Maybe the universe will be always the same

“Good morning, Manager Kim” Irene smiled when she reaches the elevator, she brings some of new paper in box. Taeyeon smiles back and let the younger girl punches the button

“You look unusual this morning” Irene muttered, since she’s so talkative, she often talk first before the others, “Just voice out my mind”

“Why? Is there any different in me?”

“You buttoned wrong” Irene pointed Taeyeon’s shirt beneath her coat, “And also, your coat seems messy than usual”

“Oh…” Taeyeon forgot that Irene is known as a perfectionist one in her team, surely something like her shirt and her coat wouldn’t never go unnoticed by her, “I just tardy, this morning”

“Nah, another weird point” Irene chuckles as the elevator reachs their floor, “As long as I know, you never late to work”

When Irene walked first and Dooyoung met her halfway for helping her bringing the paper, Taeyeon realizes that her world is totally changing

“Morning, Manager” Hyoyeon grinned from her seat, “Were you going to holiday yesterday? You missed the baseball training”

“I went to countryside” said Taeyeon while put her backpack, “Did I miss something today?”

“While you were on your way here, Director Cho was looking for you” said Suga, “He said for passing his message, you were called to his office”

“Oh, okay” Taeyeon hurriedly stands again and walks to the restroom. She need to fix her shirt

She meets Yeri on her way and she just flashed a simple smile to her intern, she needs to fasten up

“Going home?” Taeyeon asked Yeri who just went out from the building

“Yep, where would I go then?” Yeri chuckled

“We have same trip to home” Taeyeon walks and Yeri follows her after

“I know. But I didn’t see you this morning”

“I was late”

“Oh, such an odd behavior from you” said Yeri. She knows the reason why Taeyeon was late this morning, Jessica wasn’t there and Taeyeon had the difficulty to keep up with her morning routine without her wife

“Yeah…” Taeyeon tilted her head aside, debating inside to talk about Jessica and her are living separately since yesterday. Remembering that Yeri also followed her to Sunny’s place, she decided to tell Yeri

“Jessica is living with Tiffany right now” said Taeyeon, “I guess I’m not that ready for living alone”

“I can help you” Yeri blurted which makes Taeyeon furrowed her eyebrows in confusion, “I mean, I can call you in the morning to check on you”

“That’s fine, Yeri. I could manage it by myself” Taeyeon replied. Deep on her heart, she knows she need it but as she remembers how Jessica confronted her about Yeri before, she won’t take that risk

Not when their marriage still at the bay like this

Taeyeon invited Yeri to her brother’s palce, for a dinner. At the first, Yeri rejected it but Taeyeon heard her stomach grumble and Yeri has no reason to refused

“I saw you often” said Amber when Yeri is eating her rice bowl

“She’s living at the small building behind me, Am” Heechul replied, “Nice to meet you again, kiddo. Come here often”

“I will, the ambience is good” Yeri smiled. She truthfully like the ambience, the meals also good. Since it located in the middle of house complex, almost all of the customers are acknowledging each other. It makes the atmosphere warm

After eat and talk with other customers, Yeri and Taeyeon excused themselves for going home. Taeyeon insisted to walk Yeri until her home but the younger girl refused. Taeyeon was about to walk away when she remembers that Yeri borrowed her handkerchief to her, so she needs to hand it back. Taeyeon could see Yeri met Minseok on her way, seems like her brother just bought something from the inconvenience store

When Taeyeon runs to them, suddenly two big guys stopped their track. One guy pulled Minseok while Yeri tried to help his brother. It happens so fast until Taeyeon throws her fist to the guy who’s trying to pulls Yeri’s hair. Since Taeyeon is small, the big guy easily throws her into the ground, but still both of Taeyeon and Minseok are trying to kick or punch these guys

Yeri finds the chance to run away. She runs back to the her previous way and meet Amber with Heechul

“Help… Oppa and Manager Kim” said Yeri while panting hard. Amber takes her phone and calls someone while running with Heechul and Yeri

The amount of people who surrounded the place are much but they are late by a hair, Taeyeon and Minseok already battered and the big guys ran away immediately

“Manager Kim...” Yeri kneeled down and examined their face, Taeyeon’s lips is bleeding, her forehead had a cut and Minseok is no better than Taeyeon, his cheeks swollen and her forehead also bleeding much

Yeri could hear Haeyeon calls Jessica and informing about the situation, seems like Taeyeon’s wife will be there immediately

Nobody knows that Taeyeon and Jessica live separately since today but Yeri

“Should we bring them to hospital?” Wooyoung, another neighbor of Taeyeon asked

“We should be” Heechul nods, “I’ll take my car. Kangin-ah, please tell the the men to roam around this area”

“Yes, Hyung” the bulky man nods and talk with his friend before leaves the scene. Heechul is back with his car and Yeri helped Taeyeon with Minseok to hop up into the car. Jiwoong is coming with his motorcycle and handed the helmet to Haeyeon, they said for meeting at the hospital

Jessica just rubs her temple, she had so many works today and thinking much about Taeyeon, makes her head hurts more

“Yah, your phone is ringing” Tiffany scoffed while bringing the cup of tea to Jessica

“Sorry…” Jessica looks at ther phone and Haeyeon is calling. She picks the call immediately and the younger girl tells her about Taeyeon, that she needs to go to hospital

“Taeyeon is hurt” Jessica hurriedly takes her key and her wallet when Tiffany’s yell stopped her

“Yah, you need to dressed up like still on the workplace”
