Taeyeon decided to tell her team; she knows Irene was trying to dig the information through other colleagues

She told them everything, about Yuri’s hate toward her, about how Yuri used Yeri to take her down by making her as her fling at the office. Taeyeon kept the information about Jessica and Yuri relationship, for her sake too

All of her team only smiled and encouraged her; they know their CEO hates her, but they never thought that Yuri would be this far to Taeyeon

“Anyway, I heard Director Byun said something about Director Ok’s case,” said Irene, makes all of them turned their attention to her

“What do you mean, Irene?” Taeyeon asked

“He said he already has the proof and tried to disclose Yeri’s role without exposing the CEO.”

“That bastard,” Taeyeon howled. Truthfully, it makes her team shocked; their manager always being the calm one despite the situation. But this is their first time recognize that her manager is howling

“Calm down,” Hyoyeon pats Taeyeon’s shoulders, “What’s your plan?”

“I planned to bring Yeri in the picture,” said Taeyeon, her face is hardened

“To meet with the CEO?” Yoona asked, “That would be a big mess if we miss the chance.”

“Chairman Wang has a plan to see the directorial debate once again because he had some questions for us. I have a plan to bring Yeri at that time.”

“Nice idea,” Suga added, “How about we keep her safety?”

“That’s nice,” Taeyeon agreed, “I count on you, guys.”

“Sure, Manager Kim,” they chorused, and Taeyeon is ready to tell Tiffany about this plan

Taeyeon walks to her car while texting her wife that she will pick her up. After Jessica back to work to the office, Taeyeon insisted on dropping her off and then pick her up. Jessica refused at first, but Taeyeon beat her when she said she wants to spend more time with her wife

“Are you really preparing to be a director? For bringing a car to the office?” someone snickered beside Taeyeon. The latter turned her head to the source and found her CEO is standing tall while looking at her

“I decided to bring my car because I want to spend more time with my wife,” Taeyeon unlocked her car, “Ah, you won’t understand because you have no wife.”

“You…” Yuri strides forward, ready to launches a punch to Taeyeon. She hopes Taeyeon would be afraid of her action, but she’s wrong, Taeyeon is standing still at her position and clicking her tongue

“Why? Listen to me, CEO-nim. Your career will be in downfall, and I’m sure, I will make it true,” Taeyeon crinkles her nose

“How dare are you intimidating me?”

“I’m not intimidating. I just give you a warning,” Taeyeon casually opens the door, “You can see it. Later.”

Taeyeon drove off and left Yuri with a rage. She kicked the wall while cursing, she hates Taeyeon since the start. Since Taeyeon dated Jessica, then they get married. She hates her, totally hates her.

“I planned to bring Yeri to the office, the day after tomorrow,” said Taeyeon when Jessica has settled herself below the blanket

“That’s nice,” Jessica replied, “I hope it would be well.”

“I hope too,” Taeyeon joined her wife under the blanket. She moves closer and hugs Jessica, “Have you already make a schedule to meet the doctor?”

“Probably next week,” Jessica traces Taeyeon’s face with her finger

“If you don’t feel it, I’m okay,” said Taeyeon while closes her eyes. Jessica’s touch always calming her; it always eases her feeling

“Taeyeon,” Jessica put her finger in front of Taeyeon’s lips, “We already agreed with that. Moreover, Jason insisted on coming home the next year and stay with us. It would be fine for us.”

“I’m afraid that I will make another mistake,” Taeyeon lowers her voice, “I’m afraid, Sica.”

“Don’t. We are together on this journey, Taeyeon. You trust me, right? Because I trust you.”

“Thank you, Sica.”

Jessica smiled upon Taeyeon’s low voice. She leaned closer to pecks her lips and let the kiss lingers for a while

“I love you,” Taeyeon whispered before Jessica drifted into a deep sleep on Taeyeon’s arms

“Really?” Kyuhyun wider his eyes. As usual, for preparation for the next battle, they have a quick meeting with Taeyeon. The latter suddenly gave a piece of important information regarding Yeri and the crimes behind their CEO

“Are you sure that Yeri will be safe?” Sooyoung asked, “I wonder why CEO Kwon hasn’t found her yet.”

“Because she’s under my friend’s watch. A lawyer. She already booked some bodyguards for keeping her safety.”

“Okay then,” Sooyoung nods, “Are you sure Yeri will cooperate with us? I mean, she’s on the run.”

“She promised to us, to my wife and me. We hope for the best, Director Choi.”

“Yah, how many times I should tell you for calling my name,” Sooyoung pouted which makes the other two laughed

“Taeyeon, always be this polite. I like her already,” Minyoung thumbs up, “Anyway, do you have any idea about tomorrow? I mean, it’s weird for Chairman Wang asked to have a debate so sudden.”

“I have no idea too,” Taeyeon replied, “I thought the process remains the voting.”

“Maybe the Chairman needs his assurance. He often doubting CEO’s decision,” said Kyuhyun, “I heard from Taecyeon about this.”

“Oh, anyway, how is Taecyeon?” Minyoung asked, “I heard about him wanting to go back.”

“He’s okay at Busan, but surely he will go back to HQ if Taeyeon becomes the director,” said Sooyoung, “And we will make it. We won’t lose our brain like Taecyeon to dirty people like Yuri and Baekhyun.”

“Let’s do this, guys,” said Taeyeon, determined

“Well, I could see you finally determined to get this,” Sooyoung smiled widely, and her eyes wide, “That’s our dude!”

Jessica knows Taeyeon is nervous; she overheard her wife had a serious conversation with Tiffany through the phone last night. Today would be the final day, Taeyeon would bring Yeri to the picture and Yuri would be ending soon

“Honey,” Jessica called her wife who is continuously tapping her fingers to the steer while driving

“Yes?” Taeyeon tilted her head

Jessica smiled and extended her hand to caresses Taeyeon’s cheek. Taeyeon blushes upon the small intact, her cheeks suddenly feel so hot

When Taeyeon parked the car in front of Jessica’s office, she was about to say something when Jessica suddenly pecks her cheek. Jessica smiled to her shocked face

“Don’t be so nervous,” Jessica fixed Taeyeon’s tie and dusted the invisible dust on Taeyeon’s blazer, “You can do it.”

“Thank you, Love,” Taeyeon beams her eyes to Jessica. She takes both of her hands and brings them closer to her lips, “Thank you.”

“Call me if…” Jessica sighed, but she manages to smile, “If something bad happens. You know, I will always come to you.”

“Yes. I hope I don’t need to call you,” Taeyeon giggled, “I’ll see you soon, Sica.”
