Krystal quietly helps Taeyeon for preparing the breakfast, Jason yawned beside her. Seems like he’s tired

“When will we see Mom?” Jason asked to her Umma who sips her coffee quietly

“After this, Umma will drive you and Aunty to hospital before work” Taeyeon replied, “Do you miss Mommy?”

“Of course” Jason nods happily, “I miss you too as well, Umma”

“I miss you too, Jason” Taeyeon pats Jason’s head, the unique gesture from Taeyeon which is Jason’s favorite. She likes how his Umma, despite being the quietest among them, her gestures always that warm and comfortable for others

After finished with the breakfast and Krystal prepared some clothes and her stuffs, Taeyeon gives them a ride to hospital. On the trip, it dominated by Krystal and Jason’s conversation. Taeyeon just nods, usually gave the short answer. As long as she knows her sister in law, she never be used to her quiteness

Or maybe, Taeyeon’s quiteness is the one who made Jessica agreed to marry her

“Jason!” Taeyeon’s Mother smiled widely when she saw her grandson walks into her. He immediately jumps into Mrs. Kim’s embrace while the other Kim caressing his back

“Halmeoni!” Jason tighten his hug

“You are already this tall” Mrs. Kim chuckled, her daughter is short like her so it surprised herself that Jason would be this tall, Jung gene, maybe

“Hello, Krystal” Mrs. Kim smiled, “Taeyeon said you will be there”

“Yep. Mrs. Kim could rest after this” Krystal smiled again

“Jason, do you want to stay here with Aunty Krystal or come home with Halmeoni?” Taeyeon asked. She just stands behind Krystal when Jason and the others had conversation

“Yah, you should go with your Halmeoni” Krystal ruffled Jason’s hair which makes he pouted, “Besides, it would be bored if you just stay here with me”

“I’ll make your favorite snack, Hotteok” Mrs. Kim smiled when remembering how the youngest Kim always whined to her Mom that he wanted to eat Hotteok so much when in State

“Really?” Jason wider his eyes, “Yey! I’ll follow Halmeoni, but can I see Mommy first?”

“Sure, you can” Mrs. Kim answered and guided them back to Jessica’s ward

At the first, Jason walked casually when following her grandmother. But after seeing Jessica state, he stopped his track

“M…Mom?” Jason shuttered, “What happened to Mom?”

“It just an accident” Krystal placed her hands on Jason’s shoulders, trying to make him calm, “Your Mom just sleeping, we just wait for her to open her eyes”

Jason nods, but his face truly in shock

“Jason” Taeyeon kneeled in front of her son, “Don’t worry too much, Mommy is simply in her deep sleep. She will wake very soon”

Jason nods again. The view in front of him is new, Jessica has her head bandaged and looks so weak

“Come on, Mother. I’ll be send you home” said Taeyeon

“No need” Mrs. Kim holds Taeyeon’s wrist, “I’ll be home with bus. Is it okay, Jason?”

“Yep!” Jason drifts his eyes from Jessica’s bed to her grandmother, “It would be fun”

“Drive safely, Unnie” said Krystal, “And have a nice trip, Jason! You must guard your grandmother”

“I’m doing taekwondo!” Jason raise his head and smiling widely, “Surely I will protect Halmeoni”

“Great great” Mrs. Kim smiled, “Let’s go”

“See you Aunty, Umma” Jason waves his hand. After they left, Krystal sighed heavily, lucky enough the terrified face from Jason could replaced

“Look at him” Krystal muttered, “He looked terified before”

“This is my fault” Taeyeon hung her head down

“Don’t” Krystal sighed, Taeyeon slumped her shoulders, “You can make it right, please”

“I’ll try” Taeyeon nods and takes her bag, “I’ll say goodbye first to my wife”

Krystal nods and let Taeyeon strides closer to the bed

“I’ll be going” Taeyeon pecks Jessica’s head, “I love you, Sica. I always do”

Krystal sighs, again, is it really love? Krystal knows all the story behind Taeyeon and Jessica before, include when both of them dated at the college days. She knows how Jessica always curious because of Taeyeon’s behavior, but deep down, Krystal constantly saw Taeyeon as Jessica’s ideal type

“Drive safely” Krystal repeated her words, only to received a simple nod from Taeyeon.

“Morning, Manager Kim” Yoona greeted her team leader. Her girlfriend is a prosecutor too, same office with Jessica. So, she knows what was actually happened to the older girl

“Must be bad” Suga suddenly tilted his head, “Also, I heard Kim Yerim can’t be reached until now”

“Did we already tell her about the plan?” Hyoyeon asked, as she remembers, Dooyoung and Irene were planned it but not sure that they gave the information to Yeri

“Irene said she couldn’t call Yeri since Sunday morning” said Suga, “Manager Kim, do you know where is she?”

Taeyeon shook her head, “I asked my friend who lives near Yeri’s house, they found none”

“Weird” Yoona thinks, “I mean, those events came in time”

“Hahaha” Taeyeon lets her airy laugh, “Let her be. Maybe she got another job as soon as she resigned and have no time for saying goodbye”

“That’s rude” Suga huffed, “She helped us a lot for the past three months”
