“No, Yuri. You can’t do that to Taeyeon” Jessica put her fork harshly. She’s having a lunch at the private room of a fancy restaurant with Yuri, when the latter told her about the idea to Taeyeon

“Hey, why so upset?” Yuri raised her eyebrows, “You agreed to make her resign, don’t you?”

“I agreed but not with this. This is so dangerous and high-risk”

“Sica, we can handle it”

“No” Jessica furiously takes her purse, “This is not like we talked before, Yuri. I need to go. I’ll call you later”

“Sica, hey!” Yuri tried to stops her but Jessica already ran outside

Taeyeon is reading something at her desk. At this afternoon, some of directors called her and they had some discussions regarding of Taeyeon’s director race

Sooyoung gave her a document which consisted of Yuri’s call history. It recorded for 6 months ago and Sooyoung was hoping Taeyeon could find something from this

“Manager Kim” Hyoyeon popped out her head through her cubicle, “Are you planning for overwork?”

“Ah, no” Taeyeon closes the document and drifted her eyes to her colleague, “What happened?”

“Nothing. Irene just asked me because she notified by the security office about the newest procedure of overwork”

“Okay, thanks” Taeyeon nods, “Our project is done for this month. We could be relaxed for while”

“I think so” Hyoyoen chuckled, “You can focus on your race, Manager Kim. We rooted for you”

“We?”

“As in all of Team 3”

“Thanks. It would be hard for leaving you guys”

“We hope for the best, Manager Kim”

“You too, Hyoyeon”

Taeyeon was about to say yes to Yeri when the latter requested for a ramen dinner, when Jessica called her

“My migraine is back. I couldn’t drive home”

“Okay, I’ll pick you up” said Taeyeon through the phone, “Sorry, Yeri. I think we can have a dinner another day”

“Don’t worry, Manager Kim. I’m fine” Yeri bowed, last time when they met Taeyeon promised to take Yeri for a dinner because she did a good work at the team. Yeri joked of Taeyeon remembered about how Yeri threatened her to buy dinner for her everyday, but the latter said since their commute is same, they could have a diner together on the daily basis

“Ah, no” Taeyeon puffed her cheeks, “You need to eat something”

“I could eat when I reach home”

“I doubt that” Taeyeon signaled Yeri to follow her into the food stall. She ordered a takeaway curry for Yeri

“Really, Manager Kim. I’m fine”

“You are my team and I won’t see you starving because of lack of money” Taeyeon handed the plastic bag, “This. Count this as an apology because of my harsh words last time when we argued”

 “But…”

“No but” Taeyeon cut her, “See you tomorrow”

Yeri just smiled to the petite figure who stopped a taxi. She knows, she couldn’t even fall in love with her team leader since it’s her mission

Not for her own happiness

“Taeyeon-ssi” Jongdae extended his hand when saw Taeyeon entered their room, “Jessica is inside, I’ll go home”

“Is it bad?”

“Mina said she got her medicine already but still, she needs to rest”

“I know right. Thanks”

“You are very welcome”

“Sica?” Taeyeon opened the door and finds her wife is leaning her back onto her chair while massaged her temple

“Hey” Jessica still closes her eyes. Taeyeon walks closer into her desk when Jessica blindly reaches for Taeyeon. The older girl is standing on her side, let Jessica buried her face into her clothed stomach

“Still hurt?” Taeyeon asked while massaging Jessica’s stiff shoulders. Jessica nods and Taeyeon moves another arm to caressing Jessica’s face

“Let’s go home and rest. You look so terrible, Sica”

“Yeah”

Taeyeon helped Jessica to wakes from her position, let her leaned her body all over Taeyeon. Jessica hugs and clings into Taeyeon like her life is dependent to her wife

Taeyeon helped her to buckle the seatbelt. When Taeyeon opened the dashboard for taking some tissue, she found a parking card from hotel that she never know before. The eagerness for asking it to Jessica is fading when she sees Jessica shut her eyes and her face indicated that she’s in pain

The trip back home is dead silent like usual, like when Jessica won’t talk to Taeyeon. Jessica was the one who always talk, initiate the conversation or just checks the day that Taeyeon had going through

No one could imagine Jessica would cheat behind Taeyeon since Jessica seems attached to Taeyeon and Taeyeon takes her for granted

“Is it better?” Taeyeon pressed the ice pack softly into Jessica’s neck. Her migraine always got her left side of the head and Taeyeon could imagine how hurt it is, regarding on how Jessica couldn’t move any muscle because of it

“Mmhmm” Jessica mumbled

“You barely eat. Do you want a congee? I could make it for you” Taeyeon asked, still pressed the ice pack with the gentlest way she could provide

“I’m not hungry. I ate my medicine on the afternoon”

“I see. You could get the day off for tomorrow, okay?”

“I didn’t tell Dong Wook about my absence” said Jessica. Dong Wook is her supervisor

“I can call Mina” Taeyeon replied, “You need to rest. Really”

Jessica nods, “I’m sleepy”

“Okay” Taeyeon moves the ice pack and put it to the nightstand. She moves herself beneath the cover and carefully draws her body closer to Jessica

“Sleep tight, Sica”

“Mmhmm”

“I love you” Taeyeon pecks Jessica forehead which makes the latter shoots her eyes open. She doesn’t even remember when Taeyeon said it for the first before her, or before she asked to her if Taeyeon loves her or not
