The boys and I were currently hanging near our school (my ex-school now). The large field containing a small playground which contained various memories from our past years since we enrolled in our junior year. If anyone was ever looking for us, they found us here.

I slurped loudly on my iced coffee to fill in for the awkward pause that had settled around us as the three guys stared at me until Bambam finally spoke up

“Okay...so you’re saying that this Jennie person, drop-dead gorgeous yet stings like a thorn just happens to be the same girl who you helped drop home literally the day of your suspension?” Bambam inquires hanging upside from the chin up bars. His shirt almost covering his face leaving his torso exposed.

The sun was hitting his abdomen, making it shine in its glory. The curves of his muscles flexing in the movement now and then. Bambam was always a natural show off. 

“Yup,” I said smacking my lips together, not knowing how awkward the whole situation was until I verbalized it to the boys in front of me

“That’s weird, are you sure it was the same girl?” Mino asks, taking a sip of his own drink.

I roll my eyes, “I was frustrated that day M, not drunk” 

“Whatever. Coincidences happen all the time but what’s with the whole student council fiasco” Suga asks from his place on the bench where he was laying down, glasses covering his eyes to block the sun that was going to be setting soon.

“I don’t know yet, I asked this friend of mine, her name is Jisoo” I spoke remembering the wild purple hair and obnoxious hand movements 

“She didn’t know much either because she’s just one of the volunteers. Apparently, they just get tasks for completion in a set amount of time but that’s about it”

“What kind of tasks?” Jackson raises a brow looking a little bit ridiculous trying to fit his legs around the animal springer, swaying back and forth 

“Like, festival planning and but I’m telling you, there’s something sketchy going on” I spoke looking into the distance, trying to find an answer in the scenery 

Bambam jumps off the bars, taking a sip from Mino's drink to which he earns a smack to his head

“I advise that you stay away from them. You already are in much trouble as it is, especially as the USB is out and everything. We need to maintain a low profile for a little while” 

I turned to him scratching the back of my neck with a sheepish smile. “Uuuh..about that” 

“What did you do,” Suga asked accusingly, lowering his glances to narrow his eyes at me with a disapproving look. He doesn’t even know what it is yet

“I...kinda joined the council, ehee” 

“Manoban!” It was Bambam

“Pabo”, Mino

“Of course you did” Jackson laughed. The only one who would ever find humor in this, but at the moment I appreciated it as it lessened the tension 

Suga just shook his head to make his disapproval even more apparent before laying back down

“You can’t be a part of something sketchy Lisa!” Bambam protested 

“I didn’t mean to! It’s actually Jennie who you should subject your mad at” I defended myself 

Mini scoffs, “yeah, she forced you to join right?” 

I pout, “She actually contrived to make me bitter guys, she’s like a real-life mean girl” 

I made sure to use a light tone but I won’t let them know how much her words affected me. I was still trying to figure that out myself

“What’s done is done, you can’t change that but I hope you don’t get yourself in any more trouble. The worst thing is not knowing what to expect. For all we know, it might just be a bunch of bored bullies” Mino shrugged 

“Yeah, you’re right. I’ll be extra careful don’t worry” I smiled at him 

“Holy !” Bambam exclaimed as I looked at him staring at his phone in awe.

“What! What!” Jackson leaped from his place on the tiny horse in excitement. His body defying his actions, he was an actual five-year-old.

“Woh! This Jennie girl is smokin’! I seriously thought you were exaggerating a little” Bambam exclaimed jumping like a kid in a candy store and Jackson just whistled, swiping through his phone

I rolled my eyes at him, as I watched Mino make his way towards them in curiosity

Even Suga looked like he wanted to catch a peek as he lowers his glasses again.

“Bring the phone here, I want to see this infamous Jennie” Suga said sitting up as the boys quickly made their way around him near the bench. 

Everybody huddles together like they were about to watch a movie. 

“Tsk, I hate you guys” I faked my irritation…(mostly) but nobody responded, too engrossed with the device, more so who was displayed on the screen. Bambam's mouth was slightly ajar which wasn't too odd of a reaction. Jackson somewhat has a similar reaction but with scrunched eyebrows. Mino holds a neutral reaction besides the obnoxious slurp of his drink as he discreetly moistens his lips, eyes racking the device with interest, a twinkle in his eyes that rarely shows itself only when we have a new run. Suga was the only one who looked like he had his hormones in control, or maybe he was just good at hiding it like the rest of his emotions. It was a rarity when they were shown to someone, like an honor only gifted to people he know earned it. 

Could it be that Jennie only had her effect on people including me soley because of her physical appeal? But I didn't like her like that...We've been in close proximity before and I think If any of the boys were in the position we were in earlier, the reaction would have been a little different. More physical and noticeable...

Bambam whistles as Jackson continues to scroll. I rolled my eyes. 

And they thought I was exaggerating 

“Your stalking skills never seem to amaze me” 

Bambam finally looked at me with a grin probably assuming I complimented him

“Thanks. Her last name is Kim by the way”

I rolled my eyes again, “I don’t care” 

“Oooo drama” Jackson sang, still not taking his eyes off the smartphone 

Mino threw me a look, “She really pissed you off huh?” 

I nodded not sure how to respond to his question as I trashed my drink into the nearest trashcan and made my way towards them 

“Look! Look! I found jisoo!” Bambam interrupted as he furiously tapped the screen 

“Technically, it should be Jin you should be angry at. The guy had you pushed against a frickin wall” Mino said with seriousness laced in his voice while giving me a murderous look

“I still don’t understand why you won’t let us beat his broke ” Suga spoke casually, suddenly getting bored from looking at pictures 

Before the conversation went back to everyone yelling about different ways of murdering Jin, I intervened,

“Didn’t we agree on keeping a low profile? Besides, I could beat his up myself if I wanted to” I emphasized the last part so they don’t get any ideas which had happened before when they found out what my ex had been up to while I was away with my parents to accompany them in Jamaica for one of the many conferences they had. Sometimes taking your kids with you is like wearing a really impressive accessory with your clothes. It changes the business game a little
