SIDE A: ACCIDENTALLY YOURS

Yuri immediately falls on her knees as she cries her heart out, and the rest of the family cried on their own ways as soon as the news escaped his lips. Hyoyeon looks down as her wife leans on her for support, Sunny was playing the insides of her cheeks whilst resisting the great urge to cry as she comforts her girlfriend, Sooyoung and Tiffany became water fountains.

Mr. and Mrs. Kwon still couldn't believe what they heard and Taeyeon was biting her lower lip- not wanting to show her tears in public. He kneels down and comforts Yuri before leaving the hallway to give the family a private moment. Mr. and Mrs. Kwon immediately holds their daughter up trying to comfort her and calm her down from shaking too much.

 

"Yuri-ah please calm down." Mrs. Kwon says in her sobs as she holds her daughter in her eyes. "Please Yuri..."

"Ooi's gone mom... My child's gone and it's all my fault."

"No it's not..." Her father consoles. "No one wanted this to happen."

"It is my fault. Everything's my fault." She closes her eyes and still couldn't believe it at all. "Ooi's gone."

"We have to take care of the papers." Her father says.

"Dad I can't." She bites her lips as more tears tainted her face. "I can't look at the papers and see my son's name."

"I know, I know. But we need to do this for ooi okay?" He kisses her forehead. "You need to be strong and don't worry mom and I will be there to assist you okay?"

"Tiffany darling, could you be there for Jessica when she wakes up?"

"Yes Mrs. Kwon."

"Thank you."

A series of a baby's cry causes Jessica to snap and be awake. She looks around, surprised that she was inside Yuri's room. She tries to recall the past events, but none of them came to her mind. Then, she hears some rustling sounds and when she turns to the side, she sees Yuri sleeping while furrowing her eyebrows. What the hell? She thinks to herself.

 

"Make ooi sleep please."

"W-what?"

"Ooi's being cranky again, make him sleep." She says for the second time. "Sica, I need my rest, we have a long drive back to the beach house later." She says while covering her entire face.

"Long drive?" She was totally confused right now. "What do you mean long drive? And what do you mean by ooi's getting cranky again?"

The idol removes the pillow as she releases a sigh and stare blankly at the ceiling. "Why are you testing me this early?"

"What did you just say? Yuri, what are you talking about?"

"Aigoo ooi-ah! Looks like mommy's abandoning you today!"

 

Jessica watches as Yuri moves out of the bed as she continues her little coo's at the crib. Seconds later she pulls out a small figure of life in her arms and slowly sways her entire body, humming a little lullaby. The brunette stands up and moves out of bed to see a little baby still crying his heart out and Jessica couldn't help but be awestruck as she thinks that this being right here is the most adorable thing in the entire universe.

His eyes were pointed almost feline like features and quite similar like hers. He's got those little baby mohawk hair like the one Yuri also had when she was a baby and he also got the detailed eyebrows his wife has... His cute little button nose and the little fingers while he crossed his arms as if comepletely not liking the song.

 

"Aigoo, stop crying now your majesty." Yuri cooes. "You don't like it when dad lulls you to sleep huh? You only like it when daddy plays airplane with you and agrees with you messing around the nursery room right?"

"Is this ooi? Like our ooi?"

"I doubt other couple would name their child ooi but to answer your question, yes. This is our ooi."

"Wait I'm confused- I thought ooi is still-"

"Looks like your mommy's being a little confused again buddy, she's usually like that in the mornings." Jessica was stil trying to make a sense out of things happening right now. "Maybe she's faking it because she doesn't want to sing you a song."

"But I want to!" She says and then bites her lower lip, totall embarrassed with the sudden raise of her voice. "Can... can I try?"

Yuri turns to her with a smile before giving the baby a look. "Looks like you and I will get some rest now bud. See you." She kisses the forehead of the baby before handing it to her wife. "Alright ooi, mommy will now sing your favorite song now."

"His... favorite song?"

"Yeah, the one you recorded and placed on this little toy up here." She says. "The song you want him to believe in."

"Oh." She turns to the child in her arms, looking like he was totally waiting for her to start singing.

"See whenever you do that he immediately goes to sleep." Yuri shakes her head, still in disbelief with a mix of amusement. "He's not even grown up yet but I get a feeling whom he will choose between the two of us to share all of his secrets with."

Jessica couldn't help but smile as she continues to stare at the sleeping baby. "But I think you're going to win his heart by spoiling him to such great extent."

"Shh, don't exploit the plan."

The brunette chuckles. "He's going to grow up in such a beautiful and positive environment."

"Yeah... Such a shame we couldn't see that happening though."

"What do you mean?" She takes a look at her wife who was now sobbing with tears. "Yuri, you're scaring me what do you mean by not seeing it happening?"

"I'm sorry Jessica, I'm so so sorry..."

When she looks back at their son, she was shocked to see that her arms no longer hold a life. "Where's ooi?" She starts to panic. "Yuri, where's our child?"

"He's gone Jessica... he's gone from our lives."

"OOI!" Jessica opens her eyes and stares at the bright ceiling above her.

"Jes? Jes are you okay?"

She manages to turn her head to the side. "Tiffany?"

"Don't sit up yet! Slowly..." She rushes to her best friend's side and assists her in sitting up. "How are you feeling?"

"Heavy." She briefly answers. "I just had a nightmare, I lost ooi in that dream..." She chuckles dryly but notices the change of facial expression from Tiffany's eyes. "W-what's wrong?"

"Jessica, I'm going to have to tell you something okay?"

"Why is your tone like that? Why am I here? Where's Yuri?" She looks around and notices another thing. "And why is my stomach suddenly small? What happened to ooi?"

"Jes-"

"NO! I want to speak with my wife! I need Yuri!"

"Please calm down."

"Not until I speak with her!" She glares at the latter. "YURI! YURI WHERE ARE YOU!?"

The door opens and it revealed Yuri and the rest of the visitors. "Sica."

"Yuri come here please, I need to talk to you." Yuri complies and Tiffany stands up to make space for the latter. "Yuri I'm scared."

"Why?"

"Tiffany. She's- her face and her tone scares me." She holds up Yuri's hands and pressed it onto her womb. "And my stomach... It's gotten smaller. Where's ooi Yuri? Where's our child?"

Seeing Jessica in that state just breaks Yuri's heart even more. "Jessica, I have to tell you something. I need you to be strong okay?"

"W-w-why are you talking like that? You're starting to scare me too..."

"Sica, you are a victim of a hit-and-run accident." Jessica widens her eyes hearing that. "You lost a lot of blood, you hit your head hard and..." Yuri swallows the lump on . "Ooi was experiencing placental abruption."

Jessica feels her stomach drops because she know exactly what his child experienced. "No, no, no, no. Stop right there- I'm not going to believe what you're about to say next."

"I told them to save the both of you even the chances are slim. But you were already having a delicate and sensitive pregnancy that-"

"NO! Where are the doctors?! I need to see my child!" She starts to cry.

"You need to listen to me Sica, please."

"They took away ooi without telling me... I'm going to the nursery room and take a visit, I know he's there." 

"I am trying to tell you something Jessica, I need you to listen to me."

"NO!" She starts slamming her fists on the bed. "You're lying to me! You're just making me scared and pulling my hair! This is all a joke for you!"

"But it is true Sica!" Both of them locked eyes with one another tears were freely falling from their faces. "Ooi's gone... He's gone."

The brunette immediately shakes her head. "I refuse to believe you, I am not going to believe you."

"We're going to get through this-"

"We're not going through anything because you're lying! You liar!"

Now Yuri pulls her in a for a hug. "It's alright, it's alright I'm here. I'm here and we're going to do this together, you and me okay? We need to be strong for ooi."

"But I just had him!" She screams onto Yuri's chest. "I was just carrying him in my womb and he was about to come out and see his room. The room you and I decorated ourselves- we had everything prepared! We had the clothes, the toys and all we needed was him! He was ready to see the world unti- until-"

 

"P-please... Please take that back."

"Take what back? That you'll be a useless mother? That you're just in this for the money? Aren't you though?"

"Yuri take those words back please. Tell me you don't mean them."

"No. I won't take them back because I actually mean them. Every. Single. Word."

 

"You." She slowly pulls away from the hug and looks at her wife in the eyes. "You told me you didn't want ooi."

"I never wanted things-"

"You told me that I should let him go, that I was doing him a favor because I was going to be a terrible mother to him."

"What I said that night was-"

"True." She says in a whisper. "Because you mean every- single- word." She slowly starts to remember things from last night. "I saw the look in your eyes and you were saying the truth."

"I was angry and I didn't know what was going on-"

"If only you didn't say those words and let me explain, I wouldn't have shaken from so much pain... I wouldn't have left the building and crossed the street with a floating mind... I would've seen the car rushing and I wouldn't be hit by it." Anger was starting to boil inside of her. "If only you let me explain, ooi would still be here with us- with me. I lost ooi because of you, I lost my child because you didn't want him."

"I love ooi Sica, you have to believe me."

"Don't touch me!" She hisses. "Don't ing touch me!"

"Jessica please let's try and talk things."

"Let go of me! I don't want you here! You killed my baby!"

"Yuri- it's better if you go."

"No, I'm not leaving her here all alone."

"LEAAAVE!" She screams at the top of her lungs. "YOU KILLED MY SON! YOU TOOK AWAY MY BABY!"

 

Hyoyeon and Sooyoung drags Yuri away against her own will as Jessica starts to get hysterical. She was thrashing around and Tiffany even had to hold her to calm down. Sunny immediately calls for the nurse's attention and the last thing Yuri saw before the door closes was Jessica's eyes looking right at her telling her that she doesn't want to see Yuri here ever again.

 

 

"What the you guys!" She glares at Hyoyeon and Sooyoung. "I need to be inside!"

"Yuri calm down."

"This won't do you any good."

"Jessica needs-"

"Yuri." Mr. and Mrs. Kwon comes out of the room as well. "It's better if you let this one go."

"She's my wife mom!"

"But she's also a mother Yuri! You heard what she had to say."

"I have to explain things to her please- please just let me go inside again and then maybe she'll listen." Yuri was starting to have her little own panic attack. "I want to be there for her."

"You need to wait for her to come around child."

"No mom, I can't sit around and-"

"KWON YURI!" The voice echoes throughout the hallway like a loud siren causing for her to stop fidgeting. "Now is not the time for you to be stubborn! You need to answer my questions young lady, why did she spit out such venomous words at you? Why did she blame you for the loss of your child? Are you the cause of all this scandal? Are you the one responsible for the pain in everyone's heart!?"

"Honey!" Mrs. Kwon interferes and holds him by the arm. "We all had a rough day and she is still your child. Don't do this to her, she needs us." She turns her attention back ot her daughter. "Yuri, honey-"

"I want to go home."

"Yuri you can come home with us if you'd like. You're more than welcome to stay."

"No thanks mom, I- I'd rather mourn on my own."

 

"No, put it this way."

"Here?"

"Yeah right there."

"Are you sure?"

"... On second thought, I want it right there, by the window."

"Oh my gosh." Yuri grunts as she successfully places the final sticker and steps down the ladder. "So what do you think?"

"What do you think?" That made the latter chuckle. "Come on, just tell me your honest opinion, will you think that ooi will like this?"

"I think ooi is too young to give a damn- ow!"

"Yuri don't be mean! We placed our heart and soul over this room."

"More like you just ordering me around." Jessica throws her a glare. "Alright, alright. I'll hand out my honest opinion." She takes a good 360-degree view of the place. "I think that when he comes home from the hospital and we will show him this room. he'll wander around using his eyes and the first thought that would come to his mind is- I can't wait to pee in all of this room!"

Jessica ends up in laughter. "Yuri that's absurd."

"What? You told me to give you my honest opinion right? This is my son we're talking about." She kneels down and caresses the womb. "I can't wait for you and me to rock this room ooi. You and I will be playing music and just having fun 24/6 because the seventh day's a family day and your grandparents can't wait to kidnap you from us." She smiles. "On weekdays, we can watch cartoons so daddy can give mommy an excuse to be a kid all over again and we can team up together to come up with genius plans to gang up on mommy you like the sound of that?"

"But most of all ooi, I can't wait to see you grow up with our guidance. I know it's too futuristic but I hope you grow up just like your mommy." She looks up and gives Jessica a warm look. "I hope you grow up with such kindness, love, compassion and positivity."

 

Yuri's hand continue to trail down the stickers they have placed all over the room. She looks around and her heart couldn't help but clench and tighten whenever she's reminded of the possible memories that could've been made within these very four walls. The more she stayed inside, the more flashbacks kept on coming and with every memory hits her twice as much as before especially now that she's looking at the very important piece of this room.

 

 

"Alright you can stop right... here."

"Sica, can I remove this stupid blind fold already?"

"No, not until I say so." A short moment of silence follows and Yuri's heightened listening made her hear distant rustling sounds. "Hold up will you?" Jessica chuckles as she hears the latter groaning. "You can remove your blind fold in 3, 2, 1-"

"Where's the-"

"Ta-da!"

Yuri furrows her eyebrows. "What is this?"

"It's a crib!"

"I know it's a crib doofus but why show it off to me?"

"Because I assembled it myself."

Now Yuri's eyebrows were lifted up. "(I)You did this?"

"Yeah."

"Why?"

"Because I wanted to do something for him." She drags Yuri closer. "Press this button."

"Is it a time bomb?" Jessica playfully slaps her.

"Was that..." She turns to the latter in search of some validation. "You?" The brunette nods her head in response. "Why did you choose this song?"

"When I was young, my mother would always give me stories about dreams and happy endings. Though I've come to realize that life don't go like in her bedtime stories, being able to have such great outlook in life during my younger years was such a beautiful experience. And I want him to have that." She smiles. "I want him to grow up and believe in the power of dreams, to grow up and never stop dreaming and enjoy the ability to dream because not everyone can do it. Dreaming is one of the best experiences a human could encounter and I hope I'll plant in his heart that if he continues to hold onto his one great dream- he'll believe that it'll come true one day."

"Is that how your parents raised you?"

"Not really, it was just bedtime stories. By ten, they told me to become more realistic. (I)Life isn't always unicorns and rainbows, dad would say." She answers. "But even though I wasn't raised that way, I want to raise my kids like that."

Yuri couldn't help but be warmed seeing Jessica say those words. "You are such a good person Sica." She says with a smile. "I hope ooi does enjoy dreaming as much as you did."
